Hi y'all. My uncle with his family (6 kids and his wife) are planning to have a trip into the Schengen area from Nigeria, with France as the first point of entry. Having checked the requirement list I found this:

[b]Make a clear copy of all the original documents, Make a clear coloured copies of last two US, UK, Canada, Japan , any Schengen visa and two clear coloured copies of passport data page.[b]

Question is, is this actually mandatory or one is just required to show them if you've had them in the past?

Because it doesn't really make sense. I understand it's just a way of making sure they don't give visas to people that may refuse to return but then these children don't have any of the required travel history (just dubai) and they're requesting for not just one but two previous visas. If all the countries mentioned above make it mandatory as well then no one would be able to travel.

i am an ardent and silent follower of this thread and i want your invaluable contributions.
I was denied US visa at Abuja in feb 2015 to be precise and i have scheduled another appointment for august.
The question i want to ask now is;
(1) should i use the same statement of account i used for the previous interview since they didn't ask to see it in my previous denial?
(2) i told them in my last interview that i have not travelled before although i had a malaysian visa which i didn't use. I am thinking now if i should tell them that i have travelled to malaysia since they dont ask to see the visa although i have the visa which is still in my old passport.

Will it backfire?

The main guy added the cyber cafe guy as a staff of the NGO Whilst he isn't. The main guy also said he did it to help the boy and the boy said e no de come back Naija. That is my issue. Helping a person with clear intentions to wrongfully immigrate, plus forgery join. People should not air their dirty linen in publuc and not be called out on it.

Goodday, pls I nid information. I paid my VSF application fee. But I Was adviced to renew my passport cos I don't av up to 2yrs validity. Now my passport no has changed can I still use d earlier visa fee or I av to mk another payMent on d new passport. Pls can I get a visa on a less than 2yrs valid passport. so my people I was stuck in traffic and got to the embassy around past 10am and I was turned back, I was told I couldn't go in again, and I should check the portal in two days time and reschedule another appointment. I'm so sad right now but I believe God has a plan and purpose for everything.
