[color=#006600] I think people with good career background is also a plus, remember they gave provisions on the DS-160 form to fill in your employment history. I remember filling that part with my three last jobs and giving clear details of my functions during those years. I have this theory that the VOs actually scheme through submitted forms a day prior to the interview date. Hence, they would normally have made up their minds on whose to approve and not to. I have been with my current company for almost 10 years and had worked for a chartered accountant firm. i earn over 150k and yet they didn't give me visa. I think it because they chose to give whoever they like or maybe because i said i have a brother in US. Na them sabi sha |

Dyke004: Eeyah. Sorry about your denial. Apart from your career history and all, what are your other ties to home? Travel history? Wife? Kids? Is your brother in the US a citizen? Did he file an immigrant visa for you that's still pending? It could be one of these. Just dust yourself up and think of the next step, inugo? |

spykid014: Thanks spykid014 Well, travel history-none, wife-yes, kid-yes, brother-LPR. no immigrant visa appli. they hardly ask for properties and statements. So whatever they want or use, they will get it from me soon. of course i wont give up. |

Re: Usa Visit Visa by LadyGuinivere: 5:10pm On Jun 15, 2015 |
MarieEyre:The answer to that question will depend on how your sister went to the US to join her fiancee... Also each of you will be considered individually. Your parents assets cannot count in your favour. So do a self assesment of yourself with regards to your age, marital status, travel history and of course your work and sister's history |

LadyGuinivere:Just a nice jacket and trousers. Just so you know, I'm a lady not a man. I wouldn't say the dressing matters much because they cant see all you have on from where they are standing. It's good to dress nice always sha , not only when you have an interview btw,the ehugs are well received and returned 4 Likes |

I will first of all thank this thread for the advice and instructions I got before going to the US embassy. They consular officer granted me the visa but for a week now my passport is still at the embassy. I even tracked it online at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-niv-passportretrieve.asp . Is there any advise I can get concerning this? Thank you all. |

Pls has anyone used wakanow international sim card to the US ? Is it effective when one gets to the US ? And how about the billing ? Urgent responses pls |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by spykid014(f): 10:59am On Jun 16, 2015 |
chuksmoney: Dear Chuks, you are not alone in this. The US Consulate is having issues with their computers worldwide. So they are having delays printing visas and all... They issued a statement on this earlier. So chill, they will let you know when it's ready. Mine is still at the Embassy for a week now, so worry not! 1 Like

My people, Abeg I wan ask this question again. My wife and daughter had applied to go for a conference from July 2 to 11 in San Antiono but one thing led to another and their appointment which was suppose to be on 9th June was cancelled by us not embassy. Now because we couldn't get a date in June for the interview, we have decided they go for vacation instead of the conference since we don't want to lose the visa fee like that and an appointment has been booked for July. Wouldn't that affect the issuance of visa as they will be answering something different from what is in the application. Abi make i kukuma cancel everything and forget the visa money and reapply for all of us? |
