Business To Business › Nigerian Won Africa Youth Business Award by holatin(op): 12:11am On Oct 28, 2014
(Chude Jideonwo and his partner named Young
Business Leaders. Photo: Red Media)
29-year-old Chude Jideonwo and 28-year-old Adebola
Williams have been announced among the Young
Business Leaders of the year 2014.
The honour was bestowed on the partners at CNBC
Africa ‘All Africa Business Leaders Awards’ which held
on Tuesday, October 23, 2014 at Oriental Hotel, Lagos,
Nigeria.
Jideonwo and Williams are co-founders of Red Media
Africa, credited as Africa’s leading youth media network.
While receiving the award, Jideonwo who is the
managing partner of Red Media Africa said: ‘It is
certainly not easy to build a young business in West
Africa, especially to build one organically, without debt,
external investment or even a famous last name. It is
even more difficult to build a media business in a region
famously hostile to sustainable media enterprise.
Therefore, this is a reminder that much is possible in
spite of the difficulties of our environment and it
definitely inspires; to keep creating value and to keep
building a new model of enterprise and (being)
relentless. Thanks go to the incredible guys at
#TeamRED, and special thanks go to the leadership of
the team, including Mfon Ekpo, Cheta Nwanze, Damilola
Oyedele, Chioma Agwuegbo, Bukonla Adebakin, Isime
Esene, Emilia Tobi, Oluwatobi Soyombo, Sola
Odetola and Nkoyo Eze.’
Guests at the event included Atedo Peterside, Arunma
Oteh, Folusho Phillips, Bismark Rewane, Ben Bruce,
amongst others.

Celebrities › I’m Scared Of Something Else, Not Olamide And Davido’ – dj Zeez by holatin(op): 10:38pm On Oct 27, 2014
(Despite the stiff competition in the industry, Zeez has
said he’s not afraid of anyone. Photo: Filed)
Imo State born musician, Kingsley Elikpo otherwise
called Zeez is making a comeback to the music scene he
dominated some years ago with the release of his new
single, ‘Atewo’ featuring rapper Olamide .
However, despite the stiff competition in the industry,
he has said he’s not afraid of anyone.
The singer, who used to be called DJ Zeez, said he
embarked on a deliberate hiatus from the music to study
some courses but which are not music related in any
way.
Speaking on his new collaboration with Olamide in a
recent interview with Punch, he said: ‘I collaborated
with Olamide because we are from the same hood-
Bariga, alongside 9ice, Reminisce and Lord of Ajasa . It
is my first collaboration in many years. I wanted to
identify with my Bariga fans, who have been disturbing
and clamouring for collaboration from us. The feedback
has been awesome. Atewo means clap. It is a
celebratory song for people doing well in different walks
of life.’
Speaking on the new level of competition in the music
industry now, Zeez said, ‘If you are a player in a non-
competitive industry, it is best to leave it fast. Yes, the
industry is a lot better now compared to when I began.
The social media hype, which a lot of artistes including
me, now enjoy, was non-existent at the time. What
matters most is constantly rebuilding and reevaluating
oneself to keep moving with the times because change
is the only constant thing. Competition only makes me a
better. Artistes like Davido and Olamide, are no threat to
me.’
The music act, who is now known simply as Zeez, went
on to add that he is only scared of not being
remembered for his contributions.
‘I am afraid of not being remembered for who I was or
impact I made. That is why I try to be a perfectionist in
all my dealings. I do not try to imitate any artiste
because it is not all about having hit tracks or
endorsements but about having a genuine talent and
passion for music.’

That Nigerians do not learn from the past. That our leaders are a strong reflection of our unified character. That rather than standing up and making change we'd rather throw our hands up waiting for God to fix things while conciously dragging freethinkers down to our level of mediocrity.

Na wa o, while some people have to over
calculate before they can afford 2 meals a day,
there’s another batch of folks who spend millions
on a gold toilet. So that’s how this very wealthy
Saudi King, gave his darling newly wedded
daughter an all gold toilet as present for her
wedding (So ridiculous) – Wait!! It doesn’t end
there.
King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz, according to India
Today, spent a whooping $3,00,00,000 for his
daughters wedding dress which was meant to
make her look like a pyramid.

Don't rush in calling me an atheist. Am not, i believe in God, worshiped him and served him.
But something still baffled me who wrote the bible, ow did those that wrote it know about the time of Adam and eve, Cain and Abel and co.
Am not doubting Gods word but need to know how the bible was written.
