21. Give and receive affection
Offer and receive physical affection from family and friends. Physical touch supports bonding between people, reduces anxiety, improves your mood, and creates connections.

22. Increase your standards
Begin to demand more of yourself in various areas of your life. Challenge yourself to do a bit better, go a bit farther, behave more lovingly than you have in the past. Set the bar higher, and you will feel proud of who you are.

23. Have a purpose
Start considering what your life purpose might be. Why are you here? What could be your legacy and how can you make that a centerpiece of your life?

24. Live in the right place
Are you living in a community or city that makes you feel comfortable and at home? Or are you living somewhere that doesn’t reflect your values and ideal lifestyle?

25. Let go of draining people
If there are people in your life who put you down, drain you of energy, or take advantage of you, begin to gently let them slip from your life. Surround yourself with loving and supportive people who value you.

26. Network
Expand your network of friends and associates to broaden your horizons and create new life and career opportunities.

27. Ask for forgiveness
If you have wronged someone, don’t live with guilt or shame. Apologize, make it right, and ask for forgiveness.

28. Pay off your debts
Living with debt can drain your self-esteem and cause on-going anxiety. Pay off your debts  and begin to live within your means.

29. Don’t smoke, drink too much, or use recreational drugs
All of these excesses are unhealthy, make you feel bad physically and make you feel undisciplined and dependent on substances to soothe your emotions.

30. Create personal boundaries
Know what your personal boundaries are and how you will react when people cross them. Don’t allow others to take advantage of you or manipulate you.

14. Read something inspirational
Read books and articles that uplift you and make you feel positive. Stay away from negative television programs, web sites, advertising or anything that reinforces a poor self-image.

15. Stretch yourself
Step outside of your comfort zone in some way. Stretch yourself to try something new, meet different people, or approach a situation in an unconventional way.

16. Take care of your relationships
Focus your love, time, and attention on the people you care about most. Nurture your relationships and find ways to communicate fully and enjoy a richer experience with your loved ones.

17. Teach someone
You have skills and abilities to share with others. Teach someone who is interested in learning. Offer your knowledge and experience as a gift.

18. Practice affirmations
Keep an affirmation journal in which you write positive, loving statements about yourself. Repeat those affirmations daily when you awaken and before you go to sleep.

19. Challenge limiting beliefs
When you catch yourself thinking negatively about your self-worth, challenge the beliefs with evidence to the contrary. Find reasons why your limiting beliefs are untrue — or at least not completely true.

20. Seek your life passion
If you have not found your life passion, make time in your life to seek it out. The process of having a goal to find it will give your life a sense of purpose.

7. Do something creative
Creative endeavors put you in the “flow” state in which you are intently engaged in what you are doing. It stimulates the brain and potentially leads you to a passion or avocation.

8. Heal past wounds
Past issues and traumas can keep you trapped in low self-esteem. Seek the support of a trained counselor to help you heal the wounds of the past.

9. Plan something exciting
Plan for a trip or adventure so that you have something exciting to look forward to. Just the planning process with make you feel engaged and purposeful.

10. Have a change of scenery
Actually going on a trip, working from another location, or spending time out of your house will give you a boost of energy and motivation.

11. Spend time with a friend
Good friends accept us as we are, love us for who we are, and provide an outlet for fun and companionship. Our best friends are a reflection of the good in ourselves.

12. Get clear on your values
Determine your core values in life, the principles around which you want your life centered. Examine your life to see where you are not in alignment with the values and make the necessary changes to fix that.

13. Write down your accomplishments
Think back through your life to all that you’ve accomplished as a youth and adult. List everything you have done that you feel proud of.

IMPROVING YOUR SELF ESTEEM ( PART 1)
I was talking with a friend this weekend who is suffering from low self-esteem.

After hearing the way this lovely young woman was talking about herself, so blind to her own beauty, intelligence, and talents, I blurted out, “You must begin to love yourself. You have so much to offer.”

She looked at me with defeated eyes and said, “How do I just love myself? What does that mean?”

When your self-esteem is low, the concept of loving yourself is completely foreign. You see yourself as lacking and unworthy and feel there’s nothing to love. In fact, there seems to be far more reason to loathe yourself than love yourself.

Low self-esteem is a self-fulfilling prophecy. The worse you feel about yourself, the less energy and motivation you have to do what it takes to build your self-esteem around. Your self-esteem continues to plummet as your brain locks in on negative and circular thinking, further entrenching you in beliefs that have little or no basis in reality.

Self-esteem improves by changing both your thoughts and behaviors. You must practice new thoughts and behaviors until you begin to turn the tide of your feelings about yourself. And you must continue practicing them to maintain a healthy love for yourself.

HERE ARE SOME WAYS YOU CAN IMPROVE YOUR SELF ESTEEM

1. Become proficient at something

When you practice and become skilled at something you enjoy, your increasing competency and the discipline of practice will be a source of pride and fulfillment for you.

2. Reclaim your integrity

If you are living outside of your integrity, you will feel disoriented, guilty, and drained. Define what integrity means for you, and make the necessary changes to live in accordance with it.

3. Exercise

Exercise makes you feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally. It provides a sense of control over your health and vitality.

4. Volunteer

When we serve and support other people, we feel uplifted and valued. We have found a way to show empathy and connection through service.

5. Take care of a pet

Pets offer unconditional love and fulfill our longing for attention and affection. Pets teach us compassion and responsibility, taking the focus off of our own problems.

6. Care about your appearance

When you look your best, you feel better. You project an outward image of self-esteem and confidence — even if you don’t feel that way. But when you act “as if” you have self-esteem, eventually your feelings will catch up.

Prayer brings momentum, it lifts the heart above the challenges of life and gives it a new view of God's resources of victory and hope. Prayer provides power, poise, peace and purpose for a persons purpose, plans and pursuit.

The verse for today teaches us that as believers we are in the world but not of the world, which means that we cannot take a worldly view of things. Not becoming like the world in our ways and attitudes requires constant vigilance. Watching too much graphic violence in the form of entertainment, as happens in the world, can sear or harden our consciences and reduce our sensitivity to God's voice. Many people in the world today are desensitized to the agonies real people suffer because they see tragedies portrayed so often on television.

The news media frequently delivers negative reports or tragic stories in unemotional, matter-of-fact ways and we often see and hear these things without feeling. We hear of so many terrible things that we no longer respond to it with the appropriate emotions of compassion or outrage we should display.

I believe these things are part of Satan's overall plan for the world. He wants us to become hard-hearted and unengaged emotionally when we become aware of horrible events that take place around us. He does not want us to care about those affected by such things. But, as Christians, we should care, we should feel, and we should pray. Whenever we hear about what is happening in the world, we should ask God for His perspective and inquire as to how He wants us to respond. We then need to listen for His response and act accordingly. This is one way we can be in the world but not of the world.

God’s word for you today: Take a stand for godly values and never compromise.

Let's face facts. This current up and coming generation is the worst and will be the worst set of humans yet, not only are they spoiled and rotten, they have grown more immoral and arrogant with time.
In High Schools overseas, you can find 14 - 18 year olds who have sex easily as though its nothing to them. By the age of 21, you'll be hard pressed to find a virgin amongst them.
They are growing up with the internet and with access to things they shouldn't have, when we were kids, if we were bored, we played hide and seek and ten-ten with my friends. These days, if kids are bored, they take out their iPads or Laptops and start surfing the net.
Face it, in a matter of years, the bible and it's preachings will become outdated because the generation of that time will no longer regard it at all.

Sex is a covenant between a married man(not boy) and a married woman(not girl), before GOD as their witness. Therefore, sex is much more than an expression of love. GOD is not pleased with sex that is outside the corridors of marriage. HE is not pleased with sex before marriage in the name of love(known as Fornication), neither is HE pleased with sex outside marriage in the name of love(known as Adultery). Several people have given in to sex before marriage(Fornication) and sex outside marriage(Adultery) because the other person claims to love them. Please listen my dear friends; Sex can either be an expression of love or lust, so it is not a factor to determine whether he or she loves you.

Some other people believe that relationship without sex is boring. This is big lie from the pit of hell to destroy destinies. True lovers naturally find fun in being with each other, they are always eager to be with each other, they feel free to play with each other like little children, throwing all courtesy and maturity to the wind. So, if you are always feeling bored around him or her, or if sex is the only means through which you have fun together, then it is a very clear indication that there is no true love between both of you, it is either lust or infatuation, but definitely not love. As a living witness and a proud runner of the most fun-filled relationship in the world, I can assure you that you can have a sweet relationship without fornication.

Freely Receive What God Freely Gives
God promised that you would be the heir of the world. It is the same promise that He made to Abraham. And because you are Christ’s, you are Abraham’s seed and an heir “according to the promise”. (Galatians 3:29)

When God made this promise to you, He made it so easy for you to receive—“through the righteousness of faith”. All you have to do is believe that as the heir of the world every blessing is righteously yours because Jesus died to give them to you. He also rose from the dead to enforce them in your life.

So don’t try to earn your blessings “through the law”—through your efforts or performance. Freely receive what God freely gives to you through Christ and His finished work at the cross.

When a church member was retrenched at 41 years of age, he refused to fret or think that he had to jostle with the rest of the people in the job market. Instead, he believed that by God’s grace, he would get a better job with a higher pay. Indeed, through a mutual acquaintance, a new job came along with a pay packet that was 60 per cent more than his previous one!

Another man was experiencing a strained relationship with his wife to the point that divorce was imminent. When he started attending our church, he realized that a happy marriage could be his, not by his trying to keep the marriage going or earning the love of his wife, but by believing that although he could see his own weaknesses, he was still the righteousness of God in Christ because of the blood of Jesus. Today, he and his wife are reconciled, and enjoying a blessed marriage.

Don’t let the devil disqualify you by bringing you the law and saying, “How can you receive this blessing when just last night, you broke God’s law?” or “Are you sure you deserve this?” Instead, say, “Father, I thank You that I receive everything freely by Your grace, Your unmerited favor in my life, because of the blood of Jesus!”

GOD IS VISITING YOU TODAY
I am most humbled to share the testimonies of the visible hand of God upon my marriage. within one year of our wedding anniversary, God has moved us from room and parlour where we got married, to a 3 bedroom flat in an estate. In the same year my beautiful wife completed her MBA program (Human Resources option). In the same year I also completed my MIT program (Masters in Information Technology) without stress. As if that was not enough God recently blessed us with a beautiful car so that we can serve Him more. As I recount these blessings upon my family during the year I also remember the faithfulness of God on the mystery He gave me concerning a sickness free marriage in Ephesians 5:29-30 andMatthew 8:8-13. That if the faith of another can heal curatively how much more a blood-tied faith will make happen a sickness free marriage. Today I celebrate 11 years of sickness free life and 1 year of sickness free marriage filled with deep love and growing spiritual strength. I just want to say 'Thank You' Lord. To God alone be all the Glory.

HOW POWERFUL IS THE TONGUE??

(1) Pro12:18, your tongue determines your health or sickness, many have fallen sick not because of the devil was so strong but because of their mouth, when you don’t use your tongue well you’re piercing your health, but when you use your tongue well you’re calling health and vitality. The truth is most of what we feel some times are just symptoms, but until u say “I AM SICK OR I HAVE A HEAD ACHE” it doesn’t come, so your tongue determines your health. Some people even personalise d sickness they say stuffs like my head ache, my catarrh

(2) The tongue defiles or destroys the whole body, matt15:11,18  it’s not what you take in that matters, its what proceeds out of your mouth, James3:1-9,6 that was why Solomon said he that keeps his tongue keeps his life,Proverbs21:23 before any crisis what you say is what DETERMINE YOUR PORTION.

(3) The tongue determines your total outcome, proverbs12:14, the tongue determines what becomes of you, the Bible says the recompense of the works of your hands is greatly determined by how you speak, so be careful of what you say about what you’re doing proverb13:2-3………………..stop the complains and negative words on your job!! Pro18:20 so your total outcome is what you use your mouth to do, if you want to succeed in life u have to guard your mouth

                 HOW DO I CONTROL MY TONGUE??
1~~ (James3:1-9 a must read for every one) learn to think before you speak pro29:20ESV,  there is more hope for a fool than for someone who speaks without thinking……………1corin13:11, its only children that talk before they think, it’s not every time you talk,pro25:11……..be prudent with your words, there is always a right time to speak pro15:23 it’s not every time that you’re permitted to make comment,  there are some comments can lead you to disasters.

2~~ Learn to listen carefully before u speak pro18:13, let people finish speaking before you try to answer them that way you won’t look foolish and embarrass yourself, so listen carefully before you talk, james1:19.

Have you notice God gave us our ears and nothing is covering the ears, he gave us our nose and nothing Is covering our nose too but he gave us our eyes and there is what we call eye lid to reduce some of the things we see, then he gave us our tongue and made sure he protected it double, with the teeth and lips so its double protection, that is enough sign to caution us on how we speak

3~~ Learn to be quiet ecc3:7, 1tess4:11, pro15:28, instead of talking too much just let your works talk for u,

4~~ Learn to pray more in the holy spirit, john16:13, the holy spirit will guide you on how to speak, when you pray in the holy ghost u enjoy the regulation of your speech, luke12:12, Romans 8:26, when you pray in the holy ghost you enjoy accuracy of words

5~~ Learn the word (the word of God) the more u learn the word the more u speak like God, psalm 119:11, when your heart is good your mouth is good, matt12:34,2tim2:15-16

               HOW THEN SHOULD I SPEAK??
1~~ Speak less, don’t talk too much…………..people talk too much these days, they say so many irrelevant things like a deformed gramophone ecc5:2-3, matt12:36, every idle words that we speak shall be accounted for in heaven.
2~~ Speak as Gods oracle 1pet4:11 speak the way God would speak, eph4:29, 5:4,
3~~ Speak with grace and divine accuracy, pro22:11,
4~~ Speak life always regardless of the issue, pro13:3ecc5:6
I pray that the Holy spirit will guide and guard you, he will also grant us the grace to meditate more and speak less, God bless you!

JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.

Do not run a relationship with someone that tolerate you, run a relationship with someone that celebrate you. Do not run a relationship with someone that want you to be what you are not, run a relationship with someone that love you just the way you are. Do not allow someone to make you become what you are not, all in the name of love, because sooner or later, the “natural you” will be revealed and he or she may not like it. If he or she truly love you, he or she will make you become the best of you, to help bring out the best of you, not to make you be someone else. Please listen, if he or she does not love the real you, then he or she does not really love you. Advise him or her to try someone else, because there are many people out there that have the exact quality he or she is trying to instill in you or want you to be.

There is a reason why GOD created you the way you are, so do not try to change it because you love someone. Hey, GOD love you more than that person, so will you displease GOD because you want to please a so-called lover? Before finding a lady that love me just the way I am, I have told several ladies that; “GOD created me slim for a definite purpose, if I am fatter than this, I may not be able to fulfil that purpose, so if you do not like me the slim way I am, please move forward, there are many fat guys out there!”. So many people put up with a relationship in which their so-called lover complain of everything about them, they don’t want to quit because they are afraid that they may not get someone else, they endure till it gets to marriage and they have an enduring marriage. Please listen, for everyone that reject you, there are thousands out there that will accept you. If he or she cannot love you just the way you are, then he or she does not really love you!

YOU ARE CREATED IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD, LET NOBODY TRY TO RECREATE YOU. GOD DESIGNED YOU THE WAY YOU ARE FOR A DEFINITE PURPOSE. IF YOU BECOME CHANGED TO SOMEONE ELSE, THE BEST IN YOU CAN NEVER BE REVEALED, THE HIGHEST YOU CAN BE IS SECOND BEST. I LOVE YOU ALL, JUST THE WAY YOU ALL ARE. “Pastor, I know that God is my healer. But why is this sickness and pain still in my body?” If you have been looking at your sickness and pain all this while, stop looking at yourself and start looking at Jesus. Did He or did He not take upon Himself your sickness and pain?

God’s Word declares, “Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, and our pains—he hath carried them…” (Isaiah 53:4, YLT) Since Jesus has already taken your sickness and pain at the cross, then He cannot “untake” them. Even if you find it hard to believe that Jesus has paid for your healing, especially when the pain is unbearable, the truth is that it is still paid for. It is a finished work!

God is not saying that your sickness does not exist, nor is He asking you to pretend that it is not there. He is asking you to look away from the sickness, painful as it may be, and look to the truth that it has already been judged at the cross in the body of His Son.

Once, while still in the wilderness, the children of Israel were bitten by deadly desert serpents. The serpents were real. The bites were painful and deadly. So God told Moses to point the people to the bronze serpent put on a pole—a picture of the cross. (John 3:14) Bronze signifies judgment. In other words, the serpent—their problem—was already judged at the cross.

Those who kept their eyes on the bronze serpent lived. Those who focused on their wounds died. So stop looking at your sickness. Instead, look to the cross and see your sickness already judged in the body of Jesus. Surely He has borne your sicknesses and carried your pains! That is the truth of God’s Word. And His Word supersedes natural facts.

My friend, you let natural facts rule or establish God’s truths over your problem by what you choose to focus on. So decide today not to focus on the facts concerning your problem. Instead, establish the truth of God’s Word and Christ’s finished work over your problem—and live!

CONDEMNATION IS THE ROOT CAUSE
Romans 8:1, NASB
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

When you have a plant with sickly leaves, it would be foolish to just treat the leaves without knowing the root cause of the problem. Similarly, when “leaves” of sickness, poverty and destructive habits start sprouting in your life, you need to know what the root cause is.

Experts will tell you that it is stress. They may go a little deeper and say that it is fear—fear of the future, of rejection, of loss, of death and so on. But is fear really the root? Or is there something deeper than fear?

The Bible shows us that the most fundamental cause of problems in our lives is condemnation. With condemnation comes fear. Fear then induces stress which brings about the symptoms of the curse.

This is what happened to Adam. Long before he faced poverty, sickness and eventually death, he had stress. Because of his sin, God told him, “In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground.” (Genesis 3:19) Sweat speaks of stress. But before there was stress, there was fear because Adam told God, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” (Genesis 3:10)

But what made Adam fearful? Adam only feared when, seeing his unclothedness, he realized that he had sinned against God. He felt so ashamed and condemned that he hid himself. God then asked him, “Who told you that you were naked?” (Genesis 3:11) There was no one else in the garden other than Adam and Eve, so we know that it was probably the devil who told Adam that he was naked.

My friend, condemnation is the root cause of the symptoms of the curse manifesting in your life. That is why you need to know that at the cross, God took all your sins, put them on Jesus and unleashed the full fury of His wrath against them until Jesus cried out, “It is finished!”

All your sins have been completely punished in the body of Christ who was condemned for you. The root cause of all your problems has been dealt with. This means that the devil cannot enforce the curse in your life apart from your receiving condemnation. So come to the place of no condemnation and no sick leaves will sprout in your life!

Take a moment and think about how you’ve been approaching life. Do you find yourself just trying to make it through the day? If you’re honest with yourself, can you even remember the last time you had a good laugh? Well, I want you to know that the joy of the Lord can ease any emotional and physical pain and bring you a new level of satisfaction in life.

Laughter is the outward evidence of inward joy, and it is proven to make you feel better. I once heard someone say that laughter is like internal jogging, and I think that is so true. Laughter improves emotional and mental heath, it lifts our spirits, and it dispels worry. It’s almost impossible to be anxious and laugh at the same time. This is why we would be wise to express joy in laughter every chance we get.
God has given us the ability to laugh for a reason. It may seem like a little thing, but laughter is vitally important in the battle against stress, anxiety, fear and worry. It’s a tool from God that benefits you in so many ways. That’s why the Word of God says:

Then our mouths filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them. (Psalm 126:2)

He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing. (Job 8:21 NKJV)

A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. (Proverbs 17:22)

The Bible says that a happy heart is a good medicine because laughter lifts your spirits, improves your mental, emotional and physical health, and de-stresses your mind. And (here is the best part) . . . it costs nothing. You’ve got a proven, God-given weapon against stress that is free of charge and that you can use at any time, day or night.

Maybe you haven’t laughed — I mean really laughed — in a very long time. If that is the case, it’s probably causing much of the stress you are experiencing today. You will find that you feel better all over after a hearty laugh. Sometimes I feel clean and refreshed after a good laugh. If I am tired and weary from dealing with life’s issues, I often feel like my soul is a dusty closet — stale and in need of fresh air. But when I take the opportunity to have a really good laugh, it seems to “air my soul out,” refreshing me and lifting the load off my tired mind.

You may be thinking, Well,I don’t have anything to laugh about! Many times I don’t either, but when you do make the time, you’ll be amazed at how different you will begin to view your job, your family, your relationships, yourself and even your walk with God. You’ll become a person whose first response to stressful situations is faith not fear, joy not sorrow. You’ll be a person like Freddie......

One day the schoolteacher scolded young Freddie, by saying, “Freddie, you mustn’t laugh out loud in the school room.” Freddie responded respectfully by saying, “Sorry, teacher. I didn’t mean to. I was smiling and my smile busted.”

That’s my prayer for you. My prayer is that no matter what you are going through in life that you will remember the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). That you’ll have a smile on your face no matter how intimidating the incident, how stressful the situation or how discouraging the dilemma. And when things get tough, or when you feel like giving up, I pray that your smile would bust. We don’t laugh about our problems, but thankfully, we can laugh as we trust God to take care of them.

THE GEOGRAPHICAL GOD

GOD is a geographical GOD. HE made several places for several reasons. There is a reason why you are where you are today, and there is a reason why GOD wants you to go to the place he wants you to go. For example, GOD told Abraham to go and offer his son Isaac on a particular mountain in a geographical location which GOD will show Abraham. It is on that mountain that GOD have prepared a ram for the sacrifice instead of HIS son. If Abraham had offered his son as a sacrifice on any mountain he chose, he would have killed his son, just like that! Dear beloved, there is a geographical location where GOD wants you to be. It is in that place that all that you will need to succeed is deposited. So, we must take out time to locate our geographical location according to the plan of GOD.

Every great name all through scriptures have a geographical location where they had encounter with destiny. For example; Joseph did not become the prime minister of until he got to the prison. The prison was the exact place GOD have prepared his access to throne. Moses was placed on the sea while other children of the Israelites were killed. The sea was the right geographical location GOD have prepared the daughter of pharaoh to preserve the destiny of Moses. Had it been he was not placed on the sea, he might have been killed too. Esther was raised by Mordecai, but GOD orchestrated her move to the palace. The palace was the right place for her to be, to preserve Mordecai and preserve the destiny of all Israelites, else Mordecai and the Israelites would have been destroyed. Please listen, geography matters. It determines the fulfilment of destiny, because GOD have placed someone or something in a geographical location for you to fulfil destiny.

Yes, the blood of Christ was used as an atonement for our sins. Nobody is literally drinking any blood, neither eating the any flesh, but you'd rather bask in wallow than be reasonable. Over 3 billion people in the world believe and know that Christ died, rose and is coming back again (including the muslims). That makes your view irrelevant and inconsequential.

ONLY THE BLOOD ALONE SAVES
On the night of the first Passover, many of the children of Israel were probably anxious. Imagine one Israelite asking another nervously, “Did you hear that the angel of death is passing through tonight?”

“Yes! We were told to put the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of our home and everything would be all right. Is that true?”
Like the Israelites, you might be wondering, “Can the blood really protect me? How much blood do I have to put on my doorposts? Will the angel of death get me if I am fearful?”
My friend, don’t add to God’s conditions. He said, “When I see theblood, I will pass over you and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you.” He did not say, “When I see the blood, plus your understanding, efforts, obedience, faithfulness and refusal to give in to fear, then I will pass over you.”

It is the blood of Jesus alone that delivers you. If you think that it is because of your faith, then you will always be wondering, “Do I have enough faith?” No my friend, it is His blood alone that saves. And when God sees that you see that it is the blood alone that saves, He calls that faith in the blood, and every plague will pass over you!
God wants you to know that it is Jesus’ blood alone that saves because every time you think that your deliverance depends partly on God and partly on you, you will not have a settled peace in your heart. But when you know that it is the blood alone that saves, you will have an unshakable peace.

It was the blood that saved the children of Israel from the destroyer on that Passover night and it is still the blood that saves today. And all you need to do for the blood to avail is to say, “Father, I thank You that the blood of Jesus alone covers me and my family. No evil, plague or disaster will befall me or my family because of the blood!”

What Is The Holy Communion?
The Holy Communion, known also as the Lord’s Supper, represents the greatest expression of God’s love for His people.
Two items are used in the Holy Communion—the bread which represents Jesus’ body that was scourged and broken before and during His crucifixion, and the cup which represents His shed blood
When Jesus walked on earth, He was vibrant, and His body was full of life and health. He was never sick. But before Jesus went to the cross, He was badly scourged by the Roman soldiers, and His body was torn as He hung on the cross.
At the cross, God also took all our sicknesses and diseases and put them on Jesus’ originally perfect and healthy body, so that we can walk in divine health. That is why the Bible says by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).

In Luke 22:20, Jesus tells us that the cup is the “new covenant in My blood”, and the apostle Paul tells us that the blood of Jesus brings forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14, Ephesians 1:7).
Why Do Believers Partake Of The Holy Communion?

Besides being born again in Christ, a healthy body and mind are the greatest blessings anyone can have. And the Holy Communion is God’s ordained channel of healing and wholeness.

On the night that He was betrayed, Jesus ate His last supper with His disciples. And knowing what He would accomplish through His sacrifice, He instituted the Holy Communion (Luke 22:19–20, 1 Corinthians 11:24–25).

His loving instruction is that we are to remember Him as we partake of the Holy Communion. Jesus wanted us conscious of how His body was broken for our wholeness, and His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. And whenever we partake in this consciousness, we “proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes” (1 Corinthians 11:26).

Today, when we partake of the bread, we are declaring that Jesus’ health and divine life flows in our mortal bodies. And when we partake of the cup, we are declaring that we are forgiven and have been made righteous. Jesus’ blood gives us right standing before God, and we can go boldly into God’s presence (Hebrews 4:16). When we pray, we can be sure that God hears us!
How Do I Partake Of The Holy Communion?
Before you partake, remember that the Holy Communion is not a ritual to be observed, but a blessing to be received.
Because it is not a ritual, there is no prescribed bread or special drink required. In the Last Supper, Jesus used whatever He had at the table—bread commonly eaten at supper, and whatever they were drinking
To partake, first, hold the bread in your hand and say:
Thank You, Father, for the gift of Your Son. By the stripes that fell on His back, my body is healed from the crown of my head to the very soles of my feet. Every cell, every organ, every function of my body is healed, restored, and renewed. In Jesus’ name, I believe and I receive. [Eat the bread.
Next, take the cup in your hand and say:

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your precious blood. Your sin-free, disease-free, poverty-free life is in Your blood. And Your shed blood has removed every sin from my life. Through Your blood, I am forgiven of all my sins—past, present and future—and made completely righteous. Although anger is a vice, not a virtue. But if we look at the positive side of it, we will realise that it is one of the ways we can discover our purposes on earth. Because, when you are angry about something, you naturally develop ability to change it. Until you are angry with a process, you will not develop the ability to change the process. What you do not change have the right to remain, but when you angry about a situation, you develop ability to develop a change. Most of the inventors, innovators and world changers(both in history and in our contemporary days) discovered their purpose through anger, they got angry about an unpleasant situation and fought for their desired change. A notable example is Nelson Mandela, who fought the desired change in South Africa and became a global celebrity. Get angry with that unpleasant situation around you and you will be able effect a change!

Anger is the birth place for change. If you are angry against injustice, it is a clue that you are created to be a legal practitioner, and fight against injustice. If you are angry against the death rate of children in your community, it is a clue that you are created to be a pediatrician, to cater to the health of the children. If you are angry against the political imbroglio in your nation, it is a clue that you are created to be a politician, to effect a positive change in your nation. What infuriates you is a pointer to your purpose. If you are angry against the way people live an ungodly life, it is a clue that you are called to be a preacher, to teach them to live a godly life. I get angry when I see people NOT living a purposeful life or doing things contrary to purpose. So, by the help of the Holy Spirit, I write about purpose of everything, such as purpose of prayer, business, marriage, relationship, salvation and so on. There must be something that gets you angry too, give a positive approach to it!

I LOVE YOU!

The three words(I LOVE YOU) are the most over-used and wrongly-used words in the world today. It has been turned to terms used in business to achieve business goals, used to deceive people, used by whores to promote their immoral business and so on. Love itself is much more than words, it is validated by actions. Everyone can say "I love you", but not everyone can prove what they say by actions. Love is much more a profession than a confession. When someone really love you, they break the edge, they go extra-mile, beyond limits, to prove their love for you. I will always doubt a love that cannot do something extra-ordinary, to prove it

Love cannot be seen, touched or handled. It is abstract in nature. It is a feeling that is deeply rooted in heart. It is a very delicate word, which can be used against its true intent. So, we must be very careful to determine which one is true or false love, else we fall victim of false love. True lovers are always busy looking for various ways to prove their love to the person they love. GOD looked for a way to prove HIS true love for us by doing something extra-ordinary, by giving HIS only begotten son for us~John 3:16. It is true that when someone love you from the heart, they cannot stop saying it, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh~Luke 6:45. But, be wise to discern the love that is spoken from the heart and the one that is not spoken from the heart. Judas Iscariot claimed to love JESUS, yet he betrayed JESUS, even by a kiss~Luke 22:48. So, that he or she kisses you does not mean he or she truly love you. Be spiritually sensitive!

HEALING YOUR SELF ESTEEM
To say that our self esteem is low is to compare it to something higher. But to be able to attain that higher degree could only mean that there is still something beyond that. In truth, it is not an increase in self esteem that we should aim for,but a complete healing of our wounded self worth.
Before we could attain true healing, we must first recognise our wounds.To rebuild our sense of worth we must first acknowledge how broken it really is.
How firm is that foundation from which your self worth is currently built?
Are you confidence because you are beautiful? What if you mingle among others who are more beautiful than you? For how long will you stay that way? What happens when you don't get people to admire you like they use to?
Are you secure with your success? What if the business or reputation you've built suddenly falls what will be your worth by then?
Are you confident because you are talented? What if you are involved in an accident that takes your leg or tongue and for that reason you won't be able to dance or sing again. What will become of you by then?
Are you secure because of your family or friends? What happens When they leave or they are no more?
All our effort of increasing our self esteem is futile for in the end, all such effort leads only to fear, the fear of loosing everything we have gained. The healing of our wounds can no longer depend on the external actions we take,the only way to healing is to be healed from within because our wounds are not of the body but of the soul. Deep in our soul,we feel a great emptiness and uncertainty, we feel compelled to measure up to the standards of other people while at the same, not being able to measure up to our own sense of wholeness. We even go to the extent of hiding ourselves with masks of perfection and of beauty. Beyond that mask however, we feel inadequate and tired of trying over and over again.
Healing begins when we stop our frantic effort to keep up with others
Healing begins when we face the worst pictures of ourselves and still believe that we still worth something. You are worth more than you ever thought your self to be.your worth is not in how you realize how broken you are, only in being broken can you be healed by knowing how valuable you are to the only one who can heal you.
Note..Your real worth is your likeness to God. your worth is not in what you possess but what possesses you. Your fearfully and wonderfully made yes you!

YOUR DESIRE IS A POINTER TO YOUR PURPOSE
Desire is a strong, earnest and emotional drive to a particular thing. It makes you want to do that special thing over and over again without being bored due to the monotonous routine and without losing enthusiasm. When you are doing what you do not desire to do, it will be burdensome and boring to you, on the long run, it will reduce your productivity and later, make you quit. But when you are doing what you desire to do, it will never be boring, rather it will be fun all the way. Your productivity will increase, because you will naturally devise a better way of doing it per time. Even if there is no increase in productivity, you won't lose enthusiasm and you won't quit, because you are emotionally attached to it.
So, your desire is a pointer to your assignment on earth. GOD have placed a desire in you for every assignment HE has created you for. HE will never give you an assignment without a desire to match. So, stop right where you are now and examine yourself. Ask yourself this question; "Am I doing what I actually desire to do?", and take steps in respect to the answer to that question. Because if what you are doing is not what you desire to do, then it is not the purpose you are created for, and it cannot guarantee success. GOD is not wicked, HE is not a task-master, HE will not give you an assignment under duress. For example; If you desire to sing, and GOD want to send you to preach the gospel, HE will let you use what you desire(which is music) to preach the gospel, being a gospel musician. If you desire to care for people's health, it may be that you created to be a doctor, with the assignment of catering for people's health. What do you desire to do?
Let us stop here today. But read this truth; YOUR DESIRE IS A POINTER TO YOUR PURPOSE, WHILE YOUR PURPOSE IS THE FOUNDATION FOR THE SUCCESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. THEREFORE, DO NOT ALLOW CHALLENGES OF LIFE TO MAKE YOU DO WHAT YOU DO NOT DESIRE TO DO. YOUR DESIRE IS YOUR WEALTH...BE WISE...!!!

HOW THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKS
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The Holy Spirit is not inside you to point out your faults or nag at you when you do wrong. God’s Word tells us that He is inside us to help us in our weaknesses. In areas where we are without strength, He is there to help us. When we don’t know what to pray, “the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”.

Now, don’t read the verse and say, “Well, I don’t know what I should pray for, and since the Holy Spirit makes intercession for me, I will leave the praying to Him.”

If the Holy Spirit, without our participation, makes intercession for us, then every Christian would be living victorious lives automatically! But we know that there are many Christians who don’t seem to be walking in the fullness of God’s blessings. So obviously, Romans 8:26 is not saying that. What is it saying then?

In the first part of the verse, the word “helps” issunantilambanomai in the original Greek text. It means “to take hold together against”. Now, “together” means that our participation is required. In other words, the Holy Spiritsunantilambanomai or takes hold together with us against the problem.

So if you just sit back and don’t take hold of the problem, the Holy Spirit has nothing to “take hold of” with you. If you don’t pray, He has nothing to pray. If you keep quiet, then even if He wants to pray through you, He can’t. But when you release your prayer in tongues, you are actually allowing Him to pray through you. And He will take hold together with you against the problem, and pray the perfect prayer through you because “He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God”. (Romans 8:27)

And you can be confident that when you ask anything according to the will of God, He hears you. And if you know that He hears you, whatever you ask, you know that you have the petitions that you have asked of Him! (1 John 5:14–15)
