The process is competitive for Accountant/Management consultant. You need to get a very high point like 95 and above which is very unrealistic for offshore applicant.
You best option is to look out for jobs in the big4 in Australia. They are still recruiting people into the country on 482 visa.

Thanks for the advise.

Please help with some recommendations about who can help me fix the alternator for my Camry 03. It's been repaired twice in the last 6 months. And it's packed up again. Or what could be the problem?

Thanks. Do you know anyone who has converted ICAN to CPA. Considering ICAN's relationship with IFAC. I can imagine the cost of conversion. Have u gotten a job.

raphrulz:
No paper.

However, you will do a refresher course (course on Canadian law and tax). All these cost money oooo... POF go juz dey reduce anyhow.

It's well.

Hi,

Congratulations on your achievement. Are you saying you didn't have to write any paper after applying with your ACCA?

raphrulz:
Thanks.

British Columbia... I converted from ACCA. I started the entire process in mid November. That was when i first messaged them declaring my interest to apply. I got the membership on May 1 and had to pay pro-rated subscription + membership application fees to complete the process. Cost me over a thousand CAD. If you don't pay the amount within 30 days... the process would be restarted and all efforts lost.

Please at what point do we get WES Reference number? After payment? Seems I saw some posts mentioning that one can pay WES after you school has sent your documents to WES. If that is the case, what WES reference number would you quote on your application?

Thanks. I have found this out.

Thank you.

Where can I view the NOC with detail JD so I can compare my NOC with my listed JD before sending a reference letter request to my former office. The thing is I am writing my former employer for a reference letter for ICAN induction purposes. So i want to kuku use the CIC format so I don't have to run back to them for a reference letter tomorrow should I have a need for it. Although in my current job I have done 33months already just few more months to clock 3 years here. But you know, you can't be too careful. I am Chartered Accountant. I have worked on various accounting, finance and investment roles - which NOC do you think will be appropriate for my experience?

Must the letter be addressed to the IRCC?

I mean, can the recipient of the letter be open? Say something like 'To whom it may concern'

Hello My People, good evening.
Please as anyone evaluated a degree from University of Jos with WES? I need contacts for processing transcript from the school.

Happy Mother's day to all the Mothers in the house!
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Hollarmighty: 7:03pm On Mar 26, 2019
Hello Fam,

Please WES said "Please obtain a WAEC or NECO scratch card or electronic PIN code and complete the WES Nigeria E-PIN/Scratch Card Information Form and send the form to WES by postal mail. You must include your WES reference number on the information form. Please verify that all the information on the form is accurate before submitting."

Does this mean that if I have done this, I don't have to meet WAEC to send anything to WES?

Also, those who have reveiwed WES with ICAN/ATS, how did you go about it - Which ICAN office is best for me to approach?

Thanks.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Hollarmighty: 6:23pm On Mar 25, 2019
Topsmamen:

Yes, select ICAN as the awarding body. See the email a Nairalander received from WES below:

"Thank you for contacting us with your concerns.

We reviewed your evaluation report and confirmed that it is correct.

World Education Services (wes) does not evaluate study from The Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (AATWA). If you wish to have your Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC) included in your already completed evaluation report, please submit a copy of your certificate as issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Upon receipt of the ICAN certificate, wes will review and update the report as warranted.

We would like to emphasize that wes evaluations are advisory opinions and not binding upon any institution or organization."

Thank You! This helpful

Hello People, In an attempt to commence my WES evaluation. I got the alert below from the website. Please does this mean they have stopped evaluating ATS or do I have to enter the name of institution as ICAN? Please help.

Topsmamen:

IQAS is cheaper but slower than WES. No, ICAN is not recognized as equivalent to a Canadian educational qualification.

Will IQAS evaluate ATS? Also, will they be needing my transcript or just the certificates?

ATS + BSc will give you 2 or more certs. No point including ICAN ACA, WES won't give it a positive evaluation.

Thanks.
