Thanks a lot damakollins I really appreciate thanks.

damkollins:
Dicey situation you found yourself in!
I remembered I posted one of the check-list to do if you want to submit your application...with emphasis on credit/debit card.I advised applicants to go and lock the card up somewhere so that it doesn't get lost...we're back in the same circle now.
For now, your best bet is for you to send the the fee payment form as an additional document with all your details on the envelope.Write a strong cover letter to explain the issues. The new fee payment form should contain your new set of instruction which you want CIC to use to process your application....I strongly suggest you raise a bank draft this time around but if you have another functional credit/debit card, you can use it.
I love using credit/debit but after my application was returned in questionable circumstances with no reasonable justification to prove that my card had payment issues,I stopped advising applicants to use it.
Get a new payment form with your preferred option of payment on it,include a cover letter to explain it.
Also, please send a mail to cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca and make a scan copy of the payment form with the cover letter to be an attachment to the mail before sending.
In the mail.....indicate all your personal details...passport number, date of birth, full names,NOC,address,Initial application date of receipt and so on.
If you have UCI number, include it also.
Wish you the best.
Cheers.

Thanks Damkollins Fingers Crossed, Hope fully I meet the cut. Thanks again.

damkollins: The 275 received applications seems to be like for the first 5 weeks from the commencement of FSW2014/2015 and most of them are applicants whose applications were returned last stream because of CAP full.
Really,by mathematical estimation(by use of previous data at disposal),its believed that the NOC will be full on 25th Sept,2014.It simply means that any applications received after 25th Sept,2014 may be in jeopardy.
Like I always say, this is more of permutations and combinations......but its safe to assume that applications received this month and next month may fill the cap up.
But I'm preety sure yours will make the cap since its early this month.
Cheers.

His assumption is based on the same permutations and combinations that i just explained.
Just relax your mind....hope and pray for the best.
Cheers.

ferdimako: It may have been closed for pple who haven't got done with their ECAs...that is d meaning.
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 11:10am On Sep 29, 2014
This reaction is exactly what i am talking about. would be great if you kept quiet rather than answer rudely. So that people who have patience and the time would respond.
ferdimako: What? Like this one u asked now....I think I will pass on ur questions. They are repetitional...carry ur awards I no want.
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 11:06am On Sep 29, 2014
That post claimed that 2171 is closed. Not sure where he got the info from so I wanted to clarify.
ferdimako: 1000-275=u a good!
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 11:03am On Sep 29, 2014
@ferdimako, when people ask questions in a forum it is only polite to assume the reason the person is asking is because they dont know, it would be kind of you to respond to them as politely as possible regardless of your supposed experience with this process, @solomon and damakollins are usually very polite and patient with even the most outrageous questions. The point is that if you are always confrontational people would be scared of asking questions which would defeat the purpose of this forum and also thanks for the times that you actually provide information.
ferdimako: Which link? That is d last page when filling out the form. Do u even know what we are talking about?
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 10:58am On Sep 29, 2014

TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 4:28am On Sep 23, 2014

You have to read the requirements to understand what they expect from you and IELTS is one of the key requirements to demonstrate proficency in English. To my knowledge i believe its not negotiable
kunlerulz: You sure cannot apply if you have not passed the IELTS exam.

Fingers Crossed and Prayers
ferdimako: You applied early enough... I'm even still entertaining applying some time next year. But EE is sure as no timeline, the only thing is that NOC has to be in demand.

Thanks Solomon. Fingers crossed.

TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 9:20pm On Sep 13, 2014
damkollins: can this affect my application if i did not arrange in that particular order. i put the checklist first and then the general application next in the order i printed it. can that be an issue

The documents checklist of pages 1 to 7 should be placed up first.
The documents checklist is to be followed by last 2 or 3 pages containing the barcodes (partial barcodes or full barcodes).
An example is Meritl application of 6 pages with page 5 containing full barcodes and page 6 containing partial barcodes.
You place pages 5 and 6 immediately after your document checklists ....afterwhich you will place pages 1 to 4....to be followed by other forms as sequentially arranged on the document checklists .
Cheers.

TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 2:23pm On Sep 05, 2014
damkollins: No need of doing that.....it CIC's Job to do that.Besides, the instruction doesn't says that.
Attached is the print screen of the instruction.....
The instruction says the proof should be shown in " convertible currency"..
I have also attached a definition of convertible currency and it seems to me that NGN is a fully convertible currency.
You can do the conversion to clear your conscience.....but its not really needed.
Cheers.
Thanks I appreciate your help so far. I have actually gotten everything as of this afternoon. My NOC is at 161, Hope i am successful eventually and as i submit this I remain grateful to you and Solomon for all the help and advice. Its been great. Hopefully i can contribute my own experiences as well.
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 1:18pm On Sep 05, 2014
Is there any benefit in using Canadian Immigration Lawyers for your application ? is there preference given to applicants who use cic registered lawyers?
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 1:06pm On Sep 05, 2014
damkollins: The purpose of the statement of account is not to verify your address but your settlement of fund.....POF.
No issues.
Cheers

TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 5:40pm On Aug 27, 2014
damkollins: 1.MBA WES report is okay for now...make sure you include photocopy of the degree certificates with your application package as a proof...you may include your Bsc too.
2.Just you and your dependants...i.e Spouse,Biological and adopted children. If you are unmarried....ONLY YOU.
3.Its okay.No duration is recommended at this submission stage but best practice it btw 3 to 6 months....not compulsory.
Cheers.
thanks so much, i really appreciate your help. the time to even reply these numerous messages is commendable. Really cool stuff you are doing. I believe that with this last piece of info, I would send in my application next week.

Hello House.

I have obtained most of the documentations:

IELTS- Check
WES report for Masters Degree: Check
Settlement funds: 11,900 CAD: Check
Birth Certificate: National Population Commission Check
Letter of Introduction from company: Check
Work Contract and Employment Letter Check
Police Report check

required for my application however I need some clarification with certain aspects

1. I have an MBA from an Australian School: WES has sent my report, my only problem is that my Nigerian school is delaying with my transcript. is it okay to send the report for my Masters.

2. The passport photos: Are my supposed to get photos of members of my family : Father, Mothers, Siblings, or does family only apply to dependents and spouse.

3. Settlement Funds: Is it okay to show my Savings account Statement Account and for what duration is recommended.

I appreciate your help Thanks

solomonwis: Birth Certificate from local government will suffice.
Thanks Solomon. This forum is really helpful and I will update my experience and status as i apply.
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by hollaugo: 5:24pm On Jul 10, 2014
solomonwis: What is your intended eligible occupation?

1. VERY required - this is a singular reason for rejection of many applications. Affidavit does not suffice in FSWP application.

2. The program runs between May 1st,2014 through to April 30th,2015. However there are caps for each eligible occupation presently pegged at 1,000 subject to a maximum of 25,000.

The required amount is dependent on your family size. You can read more here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Well,it is permitted at this stage to "deposit it at once" but you might (most times they do) be required to send a 12 month historical transaction of your bank statement. So be careful not to borrow this fund just to meet the requirement. It is expected that this fund will be available to you in liquid form at anytime during the processing of your application.
Thanks. i am an IT Business and System Analyst 2171. Would birth certificate from local government or should i get the NPC birth certificate.

Hello House. Great Forum for the FSW program. I only learnt of the program on monday, I have so far initiated the sending of my transcript to WES for validation. tried registering for IELTS unfortunately closest date is the 2nd of August in Abuja. Ill have to settle for that. My question is as regards two issues:

1. Birth Certificate - is it required
2. What is the deadline for application and about the settlement funds what is the actual amount required and can i just deposit it at once (must it be a dorm account)

Thanks guys.
