My own experience was in 2009,few months after my WASSCE exams,i was returning to work after our usual 1hour lunch break, there's this guy that just pulled up and said he wanted to see me. I thought he wanted to ask for directions,the next thing were just silly compliments falling from his mouth like shit from arse, like ''u'r cute,u have nice lips,i'ld like to be your friend,blah blah and blah'' i was so confused because i have never heard of d word GAY,infact i ddnt believe Homosexual exists. We ended up exchanging contacts, for pete's sake ,this fool almost runs my battery flat everyday calling me, finally he invited me to his place,i ignorantly agreed.


The next day i prepared myself for the visit and my elder sis asked me where i was going,i told her about the guy,and she told me the guy's a homosexual,that i shldnt even think of going to his place, i asked her 'WTH is homosexual',then she laid it out for me. OMG! So,i also had my butthole expanded due to ignorance.


The annoying part was that this dude has money, why didnt he use it in chasing Oloshos, why my innocent small Arse for crying out loud

The first time i saw two men kissing was in London, specifically at the St James's Park on a cool summer day many years ago. I still remember the shock and revulsion i felt.

And then it hit me. Why do i exactly hate gays?they don't bother me, they sleep with each other,they marry each other,they pay their own bills,i don't even know them.

As i grow older, i have learned to be very tolerant of others. I have also learned to mind my business with how others handle their lives, that is why i do not judge married women/men when they cheat in their marriages, i am not in their marriage so don't know what lead to the infidelity.

While i do have my personal reservation about the gay thing, i have come to accept the fact that my feelings will not stop people from being gays, or stop them from loving each other. i have also come to accept the fact that no matter what, there will be others that will have sexual orientation that is different from mine.

In Nigeria, there have been instances where men have been caught making love to goats and chickens. Nairaland even carried some of those pictures.

So what am i saying?people should let other people live their lives the way they deem it fit. what you cannot correct, leave alone.

Thanks for your clarification, the reason we are blaming our president is that he promised us so much... He claimed he can squash Boko Haram in weeks into office undermining the type of operations these guys use. Insurgency is not like a conventional warfare where he can just curtail. Many things are involved.

At least we are not the only one that observe that. He only use that for campaign, Insurgency is like Virus that is very difficult to cure.
