Study past questions!!! Study all the years along side your textbooks, do this like 3 or more times before your exam.

Again study your past questions, get yourself jamb remix and drop lamlad only use it to get clarification when you don't understand something and that is only for chemistry.

Even 10years is enough

Yes boss, i have registered. Pertaining to my reading schedule i normally go to the public library in my locality, i have a timetable which i drafted out each subject per day although i started early in my preparation. I will read a particular topic, make sure i covered the topic in my main textbook then after that i will use my lamlard and explicit series to study that particular topic specifically. I have a mindset of underlining every salient points i encountered, i have a jotter on my side where i jotted each unknown points down. After studying through out the day i will revise/memorise/recite what i studied to know actually if it sticts without looking at the textbook. On visiting the library the following day, i had to revise what i studied on the previous day before diving into another subject and topic respectively (my study time is 7-9 hours daily) not yet on past question

Study your past questions instead. Passing jamb is not all about reading big textbooks voraciously. Study your pq from year 2000 till date. Why read textbooks you have been reading since two years ago? You already know those topics but you are not conversant with the patterns and styles those questions are being asked. Textbooks should be your guide whilst studying your pq. When i say study i dont mean cramming answers verbatim. Whilst studying your pq any question you fail you go back to your textbooks and read up on that. If you continue reading textbooks and sidelining the pq i am afraid you might be scoring 250 or less which i believe you wouldnt like such meagre score.

Does it really worth it, this year will be my third UTMEs attempt to getting medicine and surgery after all the struggles, tutoring, massive reading, studying extensively and burning mid night candle yet MBBS is not forthcoming despite the frequent energy and commitment i ignited in my previous UTME preparation. This is extremely painful mehn, i am just deppresed right now.

Have you registered? What method do you employ whilst reading for utme?

Bro at this junctions should i rewrite jamb again next year or use the score to enter school and still attempt jamb again (i dont really like this crossing of a thing) or to study a four years course to deem it fit to apply for direct entry or still enrol for jupeb programme?

I am already 21 sir, age is not on my side again. PLS HELP A BROTHER

With your score, you will get admitted to some private universities or states but their fees are exorbitant. I will advise you to enter with this score and prepare for the jamb next year. You can even start now as you await admission. Staying at home is a no no

Do only four
1. Find a solid lesson teacher
2. Anoint their head and print out a poster saying I have the mind of Christ therefore math is not a problem for me, paste it in their room
3. Review the progress of the child and the lesson teacher
4. Pray for other children experiencing difficulty in school, mention anyone u know in prayer and pray for them with all of ur heart at least once a day

Congratulations, u will testify

Never despise the days of little beginning.

Above was my early post on this thread as an aspirant 7 years ago. I officially bagged MBBS Ibadan today by God's grace.
Thanks for the guidance provided. I found a family here
I had no As in WAEC. I started with 251,245 and then 283 in Jamb by 2013. It was difficult getting admission but I kept on working hard and praying. I got admitted into EKSU, OAU, UI for medicine and surgery.
A story of determination, hard work, good support network and of course grace of God.

You can do it guys . Never allow anyone talk you down on your dreams. If you fail at different attempts, strategize again and up your game. You are unstoppable

Congrats doctor

.....this is why I always advise people to understand peoples post before commenting. So u didn't know that not everybody wrote the same question? Let me lecture you... In English, some candidates were given Croze questions from Tiers of government or types of government, while others was Different. Mine was on Business. Somebody said his won was on communication. Some questions that some candidates saw in their biology wasn't set for others... Only few questions were set for ALL Candidates e.g question on Evolution.
So, we all didn't write the same questions. Jamb has changed their standard of setting questions because of exam malpractices.
Someone said he scored 304 If that's true, den we didn't write the same questions. Now, u know that not everybody wrote the same questions. U can confirm from other candidates. Quote me right, I said *My English Croze questions and Comprehension was different from others...

Ok

Bros, I didn't used only one textbook... I was using their recommended textbooks. Like physics, I was using Essential physics, Okeke, Calculations in physics and Exam focus...for physics alone. I was using Newschool chemistry and Exam focus on chemistry. Biology was Modern biology and Exam focus too...Including past questions on those subjects. I. Started preparing or reading 2months before the sales of Form begins... It wasn't textbooks that was the problem, jamb didn't follow their syllabus....

You didn't read deep bro, someone said he scored 304 was his questions different?
