HealthRe: Advantages Of Being A Skinny Girl / Skinny Girls Club by honeric01(m): 4:27pm On May 27, 2012
safarigirl: I've never been called a sickler in my life. Neither have I been called skinny. I get slim a lot, but not skinny, don't got the big bo.obs or behind, but if I had those with my kind of frame, I would look odd, so I'm better proportioned than some people, don't want to end up looking like a bottle of small stout in the quest for a large behind and bo.obs. Those things I listed are the truth, now being skinny is not the same as being scrawny, but a lot of Nigerians think they're alike, maybe not city dwellers, but a visit to the village will give you that idea. P.S I definitely am not ranting, don't you dare use that term with me, it's rude.
Then why did you describe skinny people with such manner you did in the first page if truly meant what you typed now? i have slim/skinny friends (girls) and i know how "desiring" they are to people looking at them with flirty look. how come you are saying all these now after saying what you said on the first page?

How tall are you? maybe we should start from there, if you are short and slim, then you're likely to be talked down on.

Even if you are tall and slim without the curves, you'd be likely talked on too. i don't need to go to the village to know what i am saying.. i use that term because you kinda "insulted" slim/skinny girls with your description.

safarigirl: Most ignorant post i've seen the whole day. What does a sickler look like? Do tell, cos I've seen fat people who are sicklers. Fact is, the average Nigerian and African sees fleshy as healthy and skinny as unhealthy. I don't have bo.obs or a big as.s, but I can pull off pencil trousers and a tank top better than most fleshy people, I don't have to worry bout sagging boobs in my old age and I won't be tryna drag out panties from my as.scrack, or dragging up low waist trousers to cover a large behind, and you'll definitely never find me wearing those hideous 'BIG MOMMA' bras to support mammary glands. Plus I won't suffer back pains on account of a large milk factory, just cos I want some small-minded dudes to ogle and stare. I stick to the saying, if a dude only likes you for your looks, he's not worth your time, cos once the looks go, he goes.
Rant all you want, all those things you listed previously aren't because you are skinny, rather it could be because you didn't develop properly. you can keep ranting, but that won't change the truth. being skinny is not a disease as you painted it except you didn't form well or a girl who falls sick constantly (sickler) grin

safarigirl: There is NOTHING nice bout being skinny in Naija, especially when you're petite. You can't find your clothing size, in fact you don't have a jean size as far as trousers go, you can't wear the really nice tops or dresses cos they're loose on you. Guys rarely ask you out cos you got 'no flesh' and in the absence of nice, plum bo.obs, you're not of much use. People make fun of you and ask how you plan to br.east-feed, in fact you're the poster child for starving children in Africa to everyone. The only plus I have from being small and skinny is that I got let off from many punishments in sec school, and even at that, it was only because they thought I would 'break'
Maybe because you look like a sickler and not because you are skinny/slim. lipsrsealed

^^

He was declared the head of state, so does that make him the one who overthrew Shagari Jonathan's elder brother in mediocrity? Let me help you with a tip, how many people carried out the coup? you're allowed to use google because i know you don't even know the answer yourself.
PoliticsRe: Muhammadu Buhari Scares Goodluck Jonathan by honeric01(op): 6:32pm On May 26, 2012
ckkris: Bu-haram, or Buhari is a permanent loser in Nigerian politics. And Mr Onabule thinks President Jonathan fears him. Jonathan who trounced the enormous political structure of Atiku Abubakar, in addition to the power of presidential incumbency. Well, that's why PDP is always winning. How can people underrate such a political machine? Especially as General Buhari is now openly supporting political violence. Jona wins again in 2015.
Noise maker, easy to spot
SportsRe: Nigerian Premier League: Why Don't People Watch It? by honeric01(mod): 6:30pm On May 26, 2012
novaman: It is shocking to note that most of the comment here are based on hearsay; you guys are not talking about the same league, in terms of the quality of players (skills-wise) we have the best, but the administrators needs some personal branded in order to redirect their focus.

I dare to say 80% of the pitches are in good condition for any level of game, the boy can play football. TV is the smallest thing because the administrators get their acts in order and the clubs are bought by the people with massive support, DSTV and other television network will fall over one another to become the host broadcaster; TV is more like the icing on the cake, but you must first build the brand.

For those talking about the goat, how do you explain the case fully grown men running naked unto the field while the game is going on, but after one match you are quick to forget it because of the power of branding or how about the Liverpool game where a balloon was thrown on the pitch and it cost them the match; you remember the world cup where a British referee gave a player more than 2 yellow card, yet nobody is talking about it again, but in our case we are quick to condemn our own even if in 10 years you watched only one game or someone told you about one horrible event.

Do you people know what you are loosing by not supporting our local teams? go to South Africa and see the benefits, or maybe you don't remember they host the world cup a while ago, we are here making noise without any reasonable contribution shame on you all, one day your kids will ask you that even when you knew it was going wrong what did you do to make amends, am not happy the way things are going which is why I am trying to do something in my own little way; call it big when it is done, but that is the much I can do and I will not stop
You dey mind them? huh
BusinessRe: Forex Trade Alerts - Season 7 by honeric01(op):
naijababe: Excellent idea.

Well I came across trading by accident, I had just completed my masters and was heading for what I considered the opportunity of a lifetime with the No1 company in the world. I didn't pay too much attention at the time until the person who mentioned trading to me told me of how he saw someone make £800 in 5mins. I was intrigued and this was how I decided to start trading.

I had a day job that paid more than an average salary, but trading took away all that should have been my savings cry. I bought trading signals and signed on to countless trading sites yet I still didn't turn a corner, then I gave up for about six months but the potential freedom and opportunities that trading could offer was too much to ignore; I went back to trading and didn't lose for a while but my old bad habits came back and suddenly I was losing again lipsrsealed sad
I rarely remember my wins but i remembered my losses and I learnt a whole lot from my losses than my wins as what I did wrong became obvious afterwards and i never forgot.

I went back to reading and I managed to conquer the knowledge part, the next step was my mental strength and boy was that hard, but I came across some books at the time which were purely God-sent.

I traded small stakes and learnt to put my winnings into perspective rather than let greed take over, believe me it's damn hard! One of my strategies to conquer my bad habits was to learn to meditate, I know it sounds odd but it works for me and that's all that matters grin.

Things started to improve and I became more confident and started to feel less bad about my losses as they became few and far between. I stuck at it but I also I learned lessons that I needed to learn before I became successful. To date, my losses to the market equates to ~ £90,0000, yes you read right, £90k!! But I thank God cos I make on a trade now more than what I earn in a month. Perseverance really does pay cheesy.

I am completely self taught, never attended any seminar or got lessons from anyone but I know most people can't afford to do it my way which as it's a damn expensive way.

For those interested the books that got me here are:

Meditation for dummmies - Stephen Bodian
Come into my trading room - Dr Alexander Elder
Day trading for beginners - Toni Turner
Technical analysis of the financial market - John D Murphy
Trading in the zone -Mark Douglas.
High probability trading strategies - Robert C. Miner
The richest man in babylon (not a trading book but something clicked when I read it) - George Clason

And finally Steve Nison's DVD series on candlestick charting and advanced candlestick charting.

To all the newbies and those still struggling with the mental part of trading I wish all the best, stick with it, success is round the corner cool
90,000 pounds? here i was thinking losing $43,800 since i started (2007) was the worse. chai.. people don lose money o. but then losing that much was HELL to me, (though about 40% of these monies were lost to people i gave my accounts to, they claimed they could make me 10% daily and i was so 'engrossed' in the 10% daily i was to get.

Gave out $3k to the first one, he made me $1k5 in 1 week and lost the whole money the second week.

Gave out another 3k5 to another trader who didn't even waste time at all, burnt down the whole damn account within 4 days.

The worse was the one i gave $4k to who in 2 days crashed everything. (it took 1yr 2 months to get back my 4k from this particular trader).

I also gave out smaller accounts in hundreds to like 3 other traders.., it was damn hard, i wasn't able to trade on my own then because i was just not settled and always very afraid of my own systems.. when i make few bucks, i get frightened, before i say jack robinson, i would have closed the winning trades but never the losing ones. sad sad

I was also used to leaving my losses to run even when the SL is about to be hit, i quickly shift it again until margin call comes calling. cry cry

Men, it was never easy, i was also self taught, i never attended any seminar, my problem was my emotion and MM, these 2 stuffs dealt with me badly, i couldn't fathom why i kept losing until i took my 3 months break. sad

Some of the monies lost so far weren't even mine and the owners were always chasing me up and down, thank God for my elder brothers who helped me beg for time, time now i am still owing my elder brother's wife 830k that they have even forgotten with me embarassed embarassed embarassed (with all my siblings have done for me, i dare not go back to them for financial help, not because they won't give me, but because my conscious is likely going to kill me) tongue embarassed

There was a time i was DEAD BROKE because i lost all my money to forex, i hard to go back to my retail job to survive for a while and it wasn't easy, to pay school fees was hell and i hard to struggle all through these periods, i even wanted to just run away from my people, start a new life elsewhere where no one would come asking for their money or looking at me like a failure.

Infact i can't really say much, i have also crashed other people's accounts too, some wanted 5% daily because they saw some of my account statments, but i ended up crashing their accounts. it was a roller coaster scenario for me sad

What actually helped me was when i read some books online (a friend use to supply me), i kept reading and i discovered how to let the market do its thing and not try to tell the market what to do, i also became very responsible for my own decisions, i STOPPED blaming the market, broker, my laptop, my neighbor and even my pastors for my losses.

NOT like i have made back the money i have lost so far but i am working towards that and my losses now are things i can manage. my accounts are still on and no MC again lol. (I withdraw when i need cash and its been "okay" for now).

I also don't trade all the time but i have issues with trading just one pair.. i like trading alot all the major pairs.

As for trading, i only use robot pivot (automatic R and S) with parabolic sar, nothing else.

To survive in this market, your emotion must be under control, else you're just running in cycles.

Buhari, Bu-haram overthrew the democratically elected government of President Shehu Shagari, true or false. If you refuse to respond, I'll just suspend further details.
You are not worth discussing with because you are not intelligent, i mean this... go back to your history book for a lesson on who overthrew Shagari.

namdo: yes of course with new owners i think.
I already set up a new account with them just to test-run their new company/MT4 and deposit/withdrawal methods.

I never really had issues with them when i started with them around 2007 but the fact that they didn't have MT4 made me leave them.

I still like them though and the chat is also very awesome, sometimes distractive, but all the same very helpful.
