Funny enough I didn't notice any change on her application after Biometrics. Just got an email to check the account and saw ready for passport.

Finally my mum's application has been approved. Applied March 18, 2022. She was meant to come for the birth of my child and see child don grow finish. Still happy sha.

Please o. She did her biometrics in Abuja and that's where we want to send her passport to for stamping. Now she's telling me she was not given any paper after biometrics. Is this a new thing or how do we send it now?

This is wrong actually. WES will evaluate a Nigerian DVM as a professional certificate.

He can use WES for immigration purposes but WES won’t evaluate his degree as a professional degree, hence he won’t be able to claim points for professional degree/Masters. I’m assuming you didn’t read our previous chats, you would have understood what I’m trying to explain.

Just received my PPR.. Wow! I'm still surprised as I called IRCC just yesterday and was told my eligibility was recommended pass while my security had not been started. My AOR was on March 12 and due date Sept 12. I was thinking the Covid would have delayed the application.

I'm so grateful to God and to every single person here on Nairaland. And to all the mods who helped create fantastic page 1. That was all I read and that was what helped me submit a good application.

Hello Everyone.

a) Please if a married woman that has done change of name want to for create account with WES, will she use her maiden name or married name.

b) Also which name will she use to apply for her academic transcript (maiden name or married name).

a. Use the name on your passport. Im assuming you have done one with your married name. If you have then just use that as its your new name.

b. Depends on what name you used as an undergrad. If you were still single then, then use your maiden name.

As a follow-up to link both names. Send a message to wes through the contact form, state your reason for different names and send your change of name affidavit to them by fax. After doing this, your WES report will show your present name. Hope this helps

For me, it was my middle name omitted in the certificate. What I did was to:
Send a mail/contact form to WES, informing them of the name differences and that its still me. Also did a one and same person affidavit and sent to them via fax along with my certificates.
In your case, you may also try to contact your school to indicate the correct name in verification.

HI EVERYONE, PLS I NEED YOUR INPUT ON THIS. MY CERTIFICATE THAT WAS SENT TO WES LAST YEAR HAD A LITTLE ERROR IN MY MIDDLE NAME. IE TWO LETTERS WAS OMITTED. I DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL I WANTED TO USE THE CERTIFICATE FOR SOMETHING ELSE. I IMMEDIATELY APPLIED FOR RECTIFICATION IN MY SCHOOL AND IT WAS RECTIFIED ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T GONE TO PICK UP THE NEW COPY. NOW WES HAS SENT VERIFICATION MAIL TO MY SCHOOL BUT THEY ARE YET TO REPLY. I'M JUST WORRIED IF THE NAME ISSUE WILL BE A PROBLEM. DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING AT THIS POINT? GOING TO COLLECT THE CORRECTED CERTIFICATE IS NOT FEASIBLE COS OF THE DISTANCE. I'M JUST CONCERNED. PLS HELP.

I don't think you actually submitted a complete profile. Possibly you were told you have 60 days to complete and submit your profile before it expires. Because you would need IELTS and ECA details, or did you fill them in? Either way, now that you know the right way, please just wait and get all you need before entering the pool.

Please use the name on your passport (Your married name). What I did was to send my change of name affidavit and a message to them through the contact form stating the reason for the name difference. They will acknowledge

P.s I had a diplploma in Bus admin and later on moved to continue my bsc in bus admin too. The diploma one has no issue except from the fact that they are waiting for my institution to Get back to them for verification.

Just send a scanned copy to WES via hellofax.
