alababaju: CAC have a slightly confusing policy. They announced earlier that you can now register without a lawyer BUT you cannot submit Articles of Association without it being signed off (with an accreditation number) by either lawyers, Chartered Secretaries or Chartered Accountants accredited with CAC. You need to submit Articles of Association with your incorporation application for companies.

Basically it's like someone telling you he will not charge you for both legs of your shoe. That makes you think it's free. The person then tells you that means he will charge you only for the left leg. Like a one-legged shoe is useful. That's what CAC has done for us.

To confirm you can call CAC yourself. Alternatively you can visit a CAC office and find out. I got this information from CAC Ikeja office on 16/07/14.

A recharge card was overscratched.called mtn customer care several times I was told by 2 diff agent to go to mtn office for rectification.that their system for that particular issue is down.I went to Mtn CC Abuja office 2day.After wasting my time.Almost 1hr on queue I was told nothing they can do for now.system down.It baffles me how big organization like mtn will be giving such complain.am pissed off
