You don't need to call Ole gollum, it's distasteful. The bottling tag is also unfair, he lost 4 semifinals to City (2), Chelsea and Sevilla. The Sevilla loss and the UCL group stage failure was more of our players not taking advantage of multiple chances and some silly errors. Don't get me wrong, Ole is no Pep or even Conte but show the man some respect.

To be fair he's not been given enough chance to prove himself anywhere so we really cannot criticize or be skeptical about his ability in that role.

VDB's more than capable of playing in a pivot but just need to find the right partner. He's always neat and tidy on the ball and would allow us to keep possession better and our ability to play through midfield. Just need to find that DM..

He does not play well on the right at all. Apart from the goal which he scored when ran centrally he has done nothing. Why not play him on the left and play James on the right? At least James has played both left and right at senior level. This thing is not WAEC.

I desperately want this man to fit into this team. It would be sad to have someone with that level of technique and not get the best out of ihm.

He looks technically good.
He just needs to be more assured with himself.
I believe there should be a spot on that team for him to contribute meaningfully.

Most definitely. It took me a while before i could watch Greenwood cos even though the commentators (and people on Reddit and Redcafe) kept talking about him he was always injured. At a point he seemed like a unicorn until he was finally fit enough to play and he didn't disappoint.

Laird was even more elusive. He would come in, play well and maybe get an assist and then he is off again injured for 5 games. Luckily he has played almost 30 games in all this season.

Laird's problem is fitness, if not he would have been in the senior squad by now. Only Greenwood was more highly rated in the academy that time but he just kept getting injured. There is still hope though because Greenwood himself was almost a doctor like Phil Jones in the academy.
