Activist indeed with the T-shirt that the protest organizers bought for him.

I am sure that after the protest, all those almajiris and their hajia will be gathered somewhere and given 2k for pure water and biscuit, Peter Obi and his goons already buying votes long before election year.
lol, Peter is an organiser himself. Go and find out.

He has over the years been clamouring for electoral reform in Nigeria.

These people needs to be encouraged because these agitation is for the benefit of the masses.

PoliticsRe: Why Senate Is Scared Of E-transmission Of Election Results – Samson Itodo by Hopez456(m): 8:59am On Feb 09
nairalanda1:
As someone has suggested, INEC should go into partnership with Starlink on this matter. Am sure Musk would be interested (Starlink could even use the fact they helped democracy in nigeria)...as a byline.

But let's be honest, most of the people calling for transmission of results are doing so because they think it would favor their side. The sad thing is, Nigerians don't vote on issues, they vote on who they can see, and tribe. I don't think that many people have gotten that.
This star link idea will help a great deal. Star link can help to design direct Internet to cell device for the election purpose.

Anyways, when serious, those politicians know what to do.

I don't believe the credit system where you pay a certain amount every month will work in nigeria. Last i heard it was usually people that work in banks have access to such credit only if the banks sign off on that. I could be wrong. There's a lot of things we need to fix before credits can ever work in nigeria.
You're right, lots of things needs fixing. But car loan and rentals are now gaining momentum. People working in corporates and others with verifiable source of income are turning to car leasing and stuffs.

Surprisingly, most of the vehicles are close to brand new and worth millions of naira.

I work in that space, at least I know of Pinehill leasing Ltd, Bancorp finance ltd, Roads wingsmaster.

You can do further research.

SmartPolician:
95% of Nigerians are too poor to own a brand-new car. Innoson needs to partner with the FG and companies to roll out an affordable credit facility for his cars. That's the only way Nigerians can afford it.
You're correct, same position as mine. Though some segment of Nigerians still buys new or close to new vehicles on a daily basis.

He can as well use the Toyota/LEXUS model, create models of cars for low income peeps with credit facility and also keep the luxury models with credit facility for whoever interested.

How is he going to conquer the nigerian market when over 90% of nigerians prefer second hand vehicles? One is already complaining about the pricing up there. Innoson sells new cars so the pricing will be that of a new car.
Yes, Nigerians prefer second cars, but do you know Nigerians still buy brand new or close to new vehicles on a daily basis?

My current job is in the automative ecosystem, so I know what I am saying.

There's are car finance corporate organisations almost everywhere now. Innoson needs to restrategis and do the needful.

Is Lagos the only state in Nigeria?
School isn't a scam!

Lagos is just a reference here, speaking as a resident. I know Enugu, Anambra and other SE governments patronise Inno, but to what percentage?

As earlier mentioned in my post, all government parastatals and levels needs to patronise him more..
AutosRe: INNOSON: New 20,000 Vehicle Per Year CNG Factory ''Among World's Largest'' by Hopez456(m): 5:45am On Feb 06
This is good news. However, Innoson needs to do better and conquer this Nigerian market and africa.

His Marketing strategies needs refining.

You hardly find his showrooms, he needs to also make durable and affordable cars for the low income earners so as to further promote his brands.

Nigerian government across all levels also needs to patronise him more.

Few of his CNG BRT buses ply Lagos, more of those luxurious looking buses need to be purchased by LAMATA to gradually phase off those smoke manufacturing diesel engine Buses that are almost going into extinction.

Gbadugbakun:
How many percentage of Nigerians under tinubu can afford those cinemas. It's for the rich and they make up less than 10% of our population. The remaining populace are busy looking for what to eat. 😔
Films at cinemas are not as expensive as it may be made too look. Movies are cheap during off holiday periods.

You can visit any one around you to confirm.
TV/MoviesRe: Nigeria Holds 118 Of 122 Cinemas In English-Speaking West Africa by Hopez456(m): 6:57am On Feb 05
Tunaji:
Are people still going to the cinemas? Silverbird VI and Abuja are essentially moribund! the Genesis Cinema in Akure is often empty. DSTV has been so flooded with movie channels such that the movies are wasting, I wonder if people still watch movies like in the past. I think the sector is in recession.
People flood cinemas during holidays. You can visit one during such periods and see. Nigerians love fun!

thanks boss.. those clinic calls outrageous prices
There are lots of optical shops in Lagos, visit as many as you can and compare prices. Though not not too cheap, I did a photochromic with blue cut last year for close to or not more than 70k with frames.

Without frame is around 40/45k.

If you have health insurance cover, lesser fee for you.

Just read your original post, you want to bypass the eyes clinics.

FamilyRe: This Is What We Did When Snake Bit My Brother Many Years Ago. by Hopez456(m): 11:34am On Feb 03
MONEY247:
I think I was around 15 that time. My twin brother was playing near the bush, and he came walking causually saying something like stick bit his leg aggressively... On looking closely my elder bro... Saw the mark of a teeth.. Dripping very little blood...

Emergency was activated... He got a rope and tied the upper parts of the leg... Took a new razor blade and opened the bitten area with many cuts... Black thick blood started flowing out... Very black..

They gave my twin large onions to chew... That was all, after about two months he was totally OK.

My take is that, the bite was detected early
This reminds me of when I was stung by a scorpion as little as 4years old I can't forget that experience.
My mum was frying in the kitchen and I was with her. She first thought the frying oil splashed on me, I was in continuous pain she later detected the scorpion and killed it while the part of my leg stung was cut with blade and the poison drained out and later, Aporo, a local medicine was applied on the surface of the cuts. Till date, I have the cuts on my leg. The pain was much that day.

It is a welcome development because Plateau state is full of rocks and mountains which is a breeding ground for snakes.there has been several reports of snake bites along shandam axis, mango even in Jos city, along rock haven, utan, ecwa staff, bassa road etc...I guess Jos people should know better.
You're right, while I was in Plateau, snake bites were common and the locals have herbs against them. I didn't hear of anybody die of snake bites despite not going to the hospital.
