Your trade thrives well in Abuja. Fashion designers are big boys in Abuja as they charge high.

You can get relatively cheap accomodations in villages not too far from the city centers.

I've never been there. People say it's too far away (30km) coupled with insane traffic
Ikorodu is not that far if not for the traffic around mile 12 towards Owode onirin. On a norm, without traffic, journey from Ojota to Ikorodu is within 25min.

You may choose to stay in areas before Ikorodu, Ajegunle, Irawo and co.

Car Talk / Re: Only 25% Of Vehicles In Nigeria Are Insured – FRSC, NIA by Hopez456(m): 1:38pm On Feb 26
MT:

Really?

So why paying 15k to have access to 25k damages. That's just 10k gain
That's not correct. 15k premium enables you to claim 3million for 3rd party damages and unlimited amount to injury or death caused the third party.

babeface3:

All the 3rd party insurance are fake and more meaningless. It is a money making instrument for those incompetent guys wearing one annoying white and black.

The limit of the cover most of the time is not more than 25k , so what's the essence even for the little ones that are genuine -those not bought through the white and black people .
I beg to differ as your assertions are wrong.

Genuine third party policy costs 15k and cover up to 3m 3rd party damages and unlimited amount for injury or death caused a 3rd party.

Bro, any amount less than 15k is fake, na fake insurance be that and not tender 'able for claims.

Insurance companies living large on customers fund

When the bedd arise, dem no go assist you with 1 shishi

Bunch of fraudsters
That was before. Things have significantly changed with Naicon, the regulator and NIA closely monitoring the activities of insurance companies.

I have personally witnessed genuine claims being paid by insurance companies.

Most of the time, the preconceived notion that insurance don't pay bar people from tendering claims.

Also, getting your policy through a broker, agent or insurance marketers helps. They will educate you on your policy and help if claim arises.

I'm just taking it personal because I wanna save Africa from an Adolf Hitler wannabe. I have seen sh*ts like this here but I saw this at the wrong time — I just talked to my mom on the phone yesterday and was thinking about the sh*ts she done went through in her life.

And knock, knock, came this bigot.
I quite understand you. You know about the Hutu and the Tutsi of Rwanda? You know how the genocide started?

I feel what you're doing now is further fanning the embers of hatred and bigotry.

Doing what you proposed is a way of resurrecting issues and further complicating the dreadful issues we are trying to forget. The civil was in necessary and evil, no doubt. Every communities, tribe and countries have gone through war and hostility at one point in time and they moved on.

Pls let this slide and let no opinion of someone you know nothing about move you.

Oga he is not worth your anger and your time.

There are people here who say the same thing about many tribes, who call for the death of people, Lord knows how many times I have seen posts call for the death of whoever is President, and so forth.

But at the end of the day, he is not worth it.

This is the internet. People talk trash here all the time. At the end , we ignore them, and move on.

Plus, what you are planning to do is dox him. That is wrong, and not right. If someone did it to you , you won't like it.

The man is a despicable bigot...but he is not worth it.
It is surprising how that got to him. I guess he's not seen what goes on on forums like quota, reddits ,discords and stuffs.

Romance / Re: Why Do Nigerians Look At Me Like A Fool For Doing This? by Hopez456(m): 4:03pm On Jan 17
iLegendd:
Why Do Nigerians Look at Me Like a Fool for Doing This?

Ever since I returned to Nigeria years ago, I have never disposed or dropped dirt on the ground. Even when I go out and eat something, I'd rather put the peel or paper in my pocket if there is no trash can around and dispose it when I get home. It's a habit now and it's addictive.

I lived and studied in a country where everything is as neat and clean as Heaven. There is trash can every 2-3 minutes walk distance. Nobody drops things or pins on the ground except by accident and you pick it up immediately.

So, this is the life I live in Nigeria, but they always mock me as if I'm committing a crime. What is going on?

Is the right thing considered wrong in Nigeria? What is wrong in keeping the country clean and never dropping things on the floor no matter where you are?

Whenever I go out and I see people drop something on the ground, I caution them. It doesn't matter your size or age.

Everybody does it to the point that I can't keep up anymore, so I gave up, but deep down, when I see someone dropping something on the ground, all I think about is how I'll k*ll that dirty idiōt. Shege banza!

If I become your president, hmmm!

God bless you for doing this.

I do the same and I don't feel ashamed at all. I keep dirts in my bag and pockets if no trash can is available.
Perhaps if Nigerian government criminalizes littering of public space, our people will adjust.

It's pathetic and worrisome seeing adults behave like kids.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: My Aunty Wants To Quit Her Job by Hopez456(m): 10:16pm On Jan 09
Iamjobless:
Pls pardon all errors.

I will try and keep this short, I have an aunty who works with one of the FG parastatals but she is contemplating on resigning. Reasons being:
1) the transport fare takes more than 50% of her monthly earnings as the distance between her house and workplace is far (ikorodu to CMS)
2) due to the distance she does not have the time to take care of her children as she has to leave very early and return late at night.

Ever since she told me, I tried to convince her to just hold on as i strongly believe that the minimum payment will be reviewed soon which will address the issue of salary but she stated that my solution does not address the other challenge of negligence of children.

Please i need advice on what she can do to get to work faster amd return home faster

Also, the husband is a business man that owns a business in the CMS area, I will be in the comments.

@lalasticlala
One of her family members or relatives (mum or aunt) to stay with them. Her hubby's family too can help.
