But why Funke dey attack her? He wasn’t attacking Funke, only saying they’re trying and he doesn’t know how they’re doing it..
That’s not a bad thing to say exactly. His comments are mature and full of praise and admiration for the likes of Funke. The works by Kunle and the mainframe man(Tunde Kilani )are deep and not these shallow films done by these new wannabes everywhere. School no be scam at all. |

NSEstudent: Okay, so this is actually another angle, a crucial one. Some of those cells are available in more than one bands. If you lock a common cell, and the cell is really good, you will enjoy it. If the one on one band misbehaves, it jumps to the other band.
The same thing happens if you lock to a single band, say band 7, which I do sometimes. If your area can get many cells on band 7, it will be throttling between cells to give you best service.
What people do is to write down these cells and band frequencies so that if they get the combination (frequency and cell) which gives the best result, they lock them and enjoy, happily ever after, theoretically. But bear in mind that locking may not help when Airtel is generally bad, which happens all the time and almost all nights in my place. Since I lock cell, my network has been great even at night. I no longer experience the regular night network issues. |

I know of a man that was diagnosed of a terminal illness. He was asked to seek medical attention in India. To do so he must sell his landed properties. His children were already seeking for buyers when he told them that he's not selling any of his land. The said "these lands are yours my children. I will not sell my property to get back my health and then leave nothing for you my children. He died after some few months.
One of his son is my friend now in London. Without the land apportion to him by his late father, he won't be in London today. This friend of my now has lands greater than his father's. Those children will forever cherish the father. That feat is rare. |

Osyxcel: I'm glad you were able to figure it out.
Since you did band/cell locking, let me just point out that once in a while, you might have issues with the 4G band/cell especially. If that is the case, just restart and if it doesn't work, just remove the band/cell lock and allow the device to connect to any available band/cell until the issue is resolved and then you can return the lock.
It's not something that happens frequently but just to let you know.
Cheers! Thank you very much. I will take note. |

Hopez456: Guys , pls I need help.
I have been having network issues with the ODU for days now, my router doesn't connect to internet and if it does, it will show 3g if at auto connection mode and no network at all if on 4G/5G.
At times, if connected to 4G/5G, the upload would be very low.
Today, I changed direction of the ZLT ODU, problem persists then I disabled 5G band lock and select only band 7, 3 and 8 for 4G, while my network mode is set to only 4G only.
With this, the download speed is great, I often get the maximum speed 50mbps but the upload speed is terrible, always in kbs.
I urgently need help on how to improve the upload speed as I need it more for my works. @nsestudent Cc. Burgerstv23 yemiwills023 saint2ace osyxcel Update: I tried all the methods recommended but the best of all that has given me great result consistently since Saturday is that I chose 5g/NSA/4g as network mode then switch off 5G band lock, chose band 7,8 and 3 ,1 and 41 only. Also I locked 4G cell 3500/172 and 5G Earcn 627264/221. My download and uploads have remain largely same over time. See attached. Thanks guys for the assistance.

+8 Yes, the Egun (or Ogu) people are widely considered a Yoruba subgroup in Nigeria, especially in Lagos and Ogun states, due to shared history, location, and integration, though they are originally distinct migrants from the Republic of Benin with their own Gbe language and heritage, fostering a close, intertwined cultural relationship with the Yoruba through intermarriage and mutual influence over centuries. ariesbull: Egun is spoken mainly in Badagry, parts of Lagos State, Ogun State, and coastal areas near Benin Republic. While Yoruba and Egun influence each other, many everyday words are different.
Common Egun vs Yoruba Words
English Egun (Ogu) Yoruba
Hello Wɛzɔ́ Bawo / E kaaro Thank you Akpé Ẹ ṣé Yes Ɛ̃ Béẹ́ni No Áyi Rárá Come Va Wá Go Yi Lọ Eat Dù Jẹ Drink Nɔ̀ Mu Water Tɔ Omi Food Dù Oúnjẹ House Xɔ̀ Ilé Person Ame Ènìyàn Child Vi Ọmọ Father Tɔ̀ Baba Mother Nɔ̀ Iya Friend Xɔ̃ Ọrẹ́ Good Nyi Dáadáa Bad Vɔ Búburú How are you? E fo? Ṣé daadaa ni? I am fine Me nyi Mo wa daadaa
Key Differences Between Egun and Yoruba
1. Sound System
Egun uses:
x, v, ɔ, ɛ, ɖ, ɣ sounds Yoruba does not use these.
Example:
Egun: Xɔ̀ (house)
Yoruba: Ilé
2. Word Structure
Egun words are often shorter and sharper:
Va (come) vs Wá
Dù (eat) vs Jẹ
3. Language Family
Yoruba → Defoid language
Egun → Gbe/Ewe language They are not dialects of the same language, just neighbors that influence each other.
---
Where Egun Is Spoken
Badagry (Lagos)
Parts of Ogun State
Coastal areas of Benin Republic
Some communities in Togo You even have time to educate the stubborn guy, These are evidences that yoruba and Egun are not the same. |

ariesbull: the Egun (or Ogu) are a distinct ethnic group, closely related to the Fon and Ewe, known for their unique Gbe language and culture, predominantly living in coastal areas of Nigeria (Lagos/Ogun) and the Republic of Benin, originating from Dahomey migrations, and forming a significant part of the local population with unique traditions
Speak the Egun (Gbe Egun) language, with dialects like Thevi, Xwela, Seto, and Toli, distinct from mainstream Yoruba but sharing roots with other Gbe languages

Egun is a different tribe from Yoruba ... Exactly, you got it, @Dsonof dsoil1 just refused to be enlightened. The original eguns can never claim to be Yorubas, non of the eguns that I have met , hundreds of them never claim to be Yoruba, even their names are very unique however a very few of them have Yoruba names yet they lay claim to their ancestry being from Dahomey. The eguns are in Badagry and Ipokia yet distinct and unique in their ways. |
