blaqgold:are you in Uyo? |
blaqgold:Sorry dear, will not use young girl to address you again. Love you |
ajealadick:the 89,000 few APC voters protesting, While 990000 PDP voters celebrating. |
blaqgold:Young girl, there was Elections in Akwa Ibom, and violent in about 4 LGA mostly the Fed. constituency a the APC candidate is from. There is no way APC can win in Eket and Ikot Ekpene senatorial district with a total of 22 LGA's. Eket senatorial district are aggrieved because Uyo that the APC guy is from want to take their turn. The APC made a grave mistake to field Umana Umana, If they had presented even a blind man from Eket senatorial district that has the highest number of LGA (12), Oh my God, PDP would have been fought to a stand still. In my polling unit in Eket, we had to address a former commissioner in the way and manner Jega addressed Orubebe. He wanted to disrupt a peaceful process, when it was clear to him that the orderly voting process in the unit was overwhelmingly going for PDP. He had to leave the venue and formulated lies to his cohorts. Uyo should wait till 2023 we will vote for their candidate. |

The Oba is like Patience Johnathan, he just screw up thing for Ambode. |
AceOfDiamonds:Same old tune politicians use, but this time they told us that they have assessed all the havoc done that is why he listed those promises. |
ginawest:I don't a man of integrity in the Buhari would make promises he can't fulfill, that would amount to destroying his reputation. |
He wanted to bribe but got swindle. APC should screen out people like this if we are to take them serious. |
Facts have emerged over the swindling of a gubernatorial candidate of Akwa Ibom State of a whopping N50 million over a plot to get the Police headquarters to redeploy the Commissioner of Police in the State, Mr Gabriel Achong. It would be recalled that following a woeful outing at the last Presidential election in Akwa Ibom state, Umana Umana has waged a relentless war to have the Commissioner of Police, Mr Achong and the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr Austin Okojie transferred from the state. He is said to have lobbied for a compliant Compol and REC to be posted to Akwa Ibom State to conduct the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections. The Akwa Ibom guber candidate according to a source at the Police headquarters was swindled of the sum at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja last week when some people who posed as close associates of the Inspector General of Police assured him that if he parted with N50 million the IG would accede to him to have the CP transferred. He is said to have given them the equivalent of N50 million in dollars. Source: ibommobilenews The source said: “the man is very desperate to become the Governor and sees Mr Achong as standing between his ambition since the CP had not agreed to be induced by him. He believes if he succeeds in getting a compliant CP posted to Akwa Ibom State, he would assist him in rigging the elections in his favour,” he said. We gathered that the UOU (as he is popularly called)was convinced to part with the princely sum with the hope that a signal would be sent from the Police headquarters immediately for the redeployment of Mr Achong. The jubilant guber candidate upon his return from Abuja last week is said to have informed close associates that the redeployment of Mr Achong was a “done deal” and that a new CP would be posted to Akwa Ibom State before the guber polls. The associates of the guber candidate are said to have been overjoyed by the news of the impending transfer of the CP that they rushed out a news story that Mr Achong had been transferred without stating where he was transferred to nor who who was taking over from him. Trouble however started when the expected signal was not forthcoming and it dawned on the guber candidate that he may have been duped. The furious candidate is said to have been livid with anger and called the Inspector General of Police to ask why Mr Achong had not been transferred. The IG is said to have informed him that the transfer of senior police officers is not done at the whims and caprices of individuals and threatened to arrest whoever had dragged his name into the bribery mess. For now, Umana has decided to lick his wounds but is said to be making frantic efforts through some Northern members of his party to have the CP posted out before the guber polls. So far the efforts are said not to be yielding any result even as we gathered that he has vowed never to give up on the campaign to have Mr Achong transferred. The source at the Police headquarters however confirmed that there was no plan to transfer Mr Achong, who we learnt may be bowing out of service by May 2015. |
I blame GEJ |
Dear President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan! Starting from March 28, I, other reasonable Nigerians and international observers had feared that this election would mar Nigeria. Reasons included the fact that no African sitting president has ever lost election, the threat from your kinsmen in Niger Delta, and the prediction that Nigeria would disintegrate in 2015. However, you have proved every doubting Thomas wrong. You have kept one of your numerous promises: You’ve given Nigerians a free and fair election at the expense of your ambition and expectations of your supporters. Dear Goodluck: i. Unlike Charles Taylor, you believe your country (Nigeria) is greater than you, so you have admitted defeat without war. ii. Unlike Gbagbo, you have conceded and you are ready to inaugurate a new government headed by your opponent. iii. Unlike Robert Mugabe, you haven’t manipulated election to keep you in office. iv. Unlike Mahmud Ghadaffi, you believe the people have the right to choose their leader. v. Unlike Hosni Mubarak, you’ve refuse to use the security forces against your people. vi. Unlike Babangida, you are not ready to set up interim government because you’ve lost peoples’ confidence and acceptance. vii. Unlike Abacha, you don’t consider Aso Rock your father’s house, so you are not going to die for it. viii. Unlike Obasanjo, you’ve appointed a free and unbiased umpire as the chairman of INEC (Jega against Iwu). ix. Unlike Aregbesola, you’ve never believed in violent polls, so you haven’t asked your supporters to go to polling booths with charms and ammunition. x. Unlike Shagari, you would never hand over to a military president, so you’ve conducted a transparent election. xi. Unlike Obasanjo, you don’t believe election is a “do or die” affair, rather, you believe that “one’s ambition worth the blood of nobody”. xii. Unlike many Nigeria’s politicians, you’ve openly accepted defeat and don’t blame INEC for your loss. xiii. Unlike many African presidents, you’ve become the first sitting African president to conduct election which you’ve lost. I’m more than proud of you. After Nelson Mandela in South Africa, you are the new god of democracy in Africa. Your open acceptance of the results and congratulating of your opponent have opened a new democratic chapter for Nigeria and Africa in whole. I do hereby recommend you for Nobel Laurel Prize for Peace and Leadership, the Mo Ibrahim Prize for Leadership and every other available award for a true statesman and true democrat. As you bow out of office come May 29, may you bow into peace, happiness, wealth, good health, prosperity, and long life |
We don't expect miracles, but we expect you to keep to your promises failure to do same will amount to deception or obtainance of our votes by tricks which is corruption. these are your promises lest you forget: 1. Fight corruption without being selective. 2. Make one dollar = one Naira. 3. 25 millions Nigerians in poverty get #5000 monthly to get out of poverty. 4. Payment of allowance after completion of youth service till the graduate gets a job. 5. Create 3 million jobs in the first one year in office. 6. Generate 40,000 megawatt of power in four years. 7. Build 4 refineries in 4 years. 8. Reduce fuel price to #45 per liter. 9. Provide one meal a day to all student. 10. Provide security to all Nigerians wherever they stay 11. End Boko haram and rescue chibok girls. 12. Remove immunity clause from all public office holder 13. Scrap office of the first lady. 14. Free education for all at all level. 15. Stabilize oil price at $100 |
