You are welcome.

If her medical is not updated to passed, that means there is a something wrong somewhere.

Ok good, you can let the house know the outcome
Okay Hon Lekiboboe, I will let the house knows the outcome because she has waited for over 2 months after her medical has been requested for and she has done it since then. Please how long does it take the medical result to bring PASSED. She said she will check tomorrow morning though but how long in case!.

You mean your application is still on hold because you didn't provide the NSE request. I want to understand the word "decline" you used in this sentence.
Nothing was done regards my application until i was rejected but I know it’s because I didn’t provide the necessary documents for the NSE, but it’s not on hold

Lekiboboe:
She should check her PROFILE if her medical has been updated to PASSED, if that is confirmed, that means your Friend's Application has exceeded Standard Processing time

She should do this ASAP,

How to Send Webforms & Mails to IRCC offices when application has EXCEEDED STANDARD/NORMAL PROCESSING TIME (With Message Body Sample your friend can use to draft her application timeline)
https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/473#95627040

Email address of other IRCC offices she can send her mails to
https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/6#97288992
Thank you very much ! What if her profile has not been updated to Passed ! Though she haven’t checked but since I have told her she will !

You seem to be ignorant of a lot of things. Ghana redenominated her currency by removing FOUR zeros. So your so-called 1 Ghana cedi is actually the same value of the New cedi, which was used until the redenomination in 2007.

Secondly, I do not know where you have gone in Ghana. The place is just as 3rd world looking as Nigeria in terms of infrastructure. It is an overhyped nation.

The only difference: Ghana is a safe country, and the electricity is good (depending on where you stay). My last 6-month stay there saw only two 5-minute power failures.

I had a house there from 2017 to date and stay there for months at a time. Even have a bank ac, so I know the place in toto.
Bro I said it already that it isn’t even pretty like Nigeria nor have the beautiful landscapes Nigeria has but as a citizen all will want is a working system , you said you stayed for 6 months and you only experienced power failure twice and both was even around 5 minutes, I am sure if you are in Nigeria currently , there is no light where you are except you are with your Generator running! And I had like to learn more about the redomination of the Ghana cedi, learning never stop !

Ghana police also take bribes. I have witnessed it first hand when they extorted someone of 100 cedis for not carrying a drivers' license.
You said it yourself , for not carrying a drivers license, in Nigeria you will carry it and still be in trouble

Where do you live in Nigeria?

Anyway if you are a young man reading this thread DO NOT fall for this propaganda. You have been warned. I have been to many Africans countries, believe me if it ain't south Africa don't leave. Do not waste your youthful years like others have done
I have not been to South Africa before but surely it ain’t gon be peaceful like Ghana... Ghana is really a freedom country , I am not saying it’s the best African country but I have been impressed by what I see so far. Not flashy or pretty like Nigeria but everything works here from there social amenities to having your freedom! And what else do a nation need, you prefer South Africa that we do here of Nigeria getting killed always ?
Well everyone has there own choice and I am pretty sure you haven’t even stepped out of Nigeria before , prove me wrong!

That dude is being stupid not patriotic. There is fine line between patriotism and stupidity.

By the way, could you believe Armed forces of many African countries Kenya and Senegal included are equipped with a sophisticated riffle called M4A1 carbine while our infantry soldiers on the front lines are equipped with celotaped AK-47s? huh.

According to a recent report Nigerian military spent around 2.5 trillion in arms procurement, with nothing to show for.

Where has all this money went to? Who were the culprits? Why were they not brought to book? These are questions that need answers.
Armed Celotaoped .. got me laughing and it’s nothing but the truth ! Omoh to shed my blood for Nigeria I go think am ten times sha

Ghanaians respecting Traffic laws as if there life depends on it!
A very good sign of how peaceful the country is! And no matter how busy the road is when they hear an ambulance blasting it’s siren they will all make way, for Nigeria na hold up go kill the person , even Danfo drivers go dey drag space with Ambulance...

Well don’t let me think much! E go better

Is this the picture of ghana that is better than Nigeria?
Man from the beginning of this post we already said Nigeria is way more finer and civilized than Ghana but damn Ghana is 500 percent better than Nigeria
What else do you need in a country than Good roads, stable electricity, no pressure to be rich unlike Nigeria where young peeps keep committing suicide because the pressure are so much high , I have spent my lifetime in Nigeria and only spent 11 days now in Ghana and i am convinced it’s better than Nigeria so far and while you who prolly haven’t even gone to 10 states in Nigeria tankless of traveling out of your comfort zone keep yarning that it’s better than Ghana because someone posted a picture ... No wonder Doctors are now on strike while Buhari flew abroad for his medical treatment... A very stable light and i can’t even see Nepa Bill ( asked someone and they said they use a meter or something) or Nepa going up and down at least i arrived month ending(April 23) if it was in Nigeria na that same day I go see Nepa with 100k + Bill while person no get light reach 10 days out of 30 days in a month! Omo no Generator sound, no stupid horns everywhere on the road .

Well keep being Patriotic, I was once being like that until they killed my fellow citizens at Lekki Toll Gate.

It’s well

Oh...I lived in Nigeria for long before coming home. I think Nigeria is a great place but because the population is much it's difficult to satisfy the bulk. It will take great effort to fix Nigeria.
Ghana is small, and most importantly the masses still are able to hold the leaders to accountability.
Yes corruption is also here but in the working frame of the Nation people are serious. ECG works round the clock to make electricity available because everyone has prepaid meter.
Taxes are strictly adhered...that makes life expensive but things work.... unfortunately in Nigeria it's not so ...
Enjoy Accra as much as you can, make sure you holla next time you are around let's meet.
Hahaha... hope your neck is still intact... reference to comments about looking back at V6 and V8 bumbum! grin
Yeah it will take more than a great effort to fix Nigeria but instead our leaders are plunging up back into deep holes! I am enjoying Accra but just bored a bit, even electricity don tire me and e remain small make my neck fall o but i sha use hand pack am

You should have changed your naira to cedis in Nigeria before embarking on the trip. As at today cedis is 75 naira if you change in Nigeria.
But when you take the naira to Ghana it loses more value.
Oh that’s a mistake i will not make again then
Thanks

Such a decent country compared to what we have here.

I was chatting with a Facebook friend sometime ago and she told me electricity is quiet stable in Accra, I don't know how true it is.
Quiet stable?
Very very stable I had give it 500% I told you for 10 days now , they have not even take it off for a second and I was even suprised to see no nepa carrying bill everywhere since I came here March ending , Nigeria with no light and stupid electricity bills everywhere

Ghana is a place for comfort and peace even though its expensive place to live in. Stable economy, good roads. Ghana of now is like Nigeria in the 90s. I have been living here since 2018 and ever since i left Lagos Nigeria,my life has been so peaceful. Although Ghana is not as beautiful as Nigeria, nor neither are they richer than Nigeria but there is a system that is working here. Ghana is a freedom country, no police harassment. God blessed the day I left the shores of Nigeria.
And God will bless the day i left the shores of Nigeria too because i ain’t going anytime soon even though i am leaving Ghana in the next few days! As an average Nigeria youth if leaving Nigeria isn’t in your plan , I don’t know what you thinking of , though there are some people who are still patriotic

Official rate is actually 1cedis=65 naira whilst black market is 70 naira. Whilst growing up,I could remember how useless the franc xefa was, today naira and xefa are in the range. By end of this year, the francophone countries in West Africa including Ghana has introduced a new currency called eco currency. It is shame on Nigerian leaders.
No bro the black market rate is 91 naira maybe it’s a while you changed , i changed at 3 different places now, one at the airport , and twice at somewhere called Tudu though at Tudu I bargained hard for 87 naira and when i withdrew at the bank with my Visa card it’s around 110 naira from the atm ... all in all , naira is valueless !

They have no shame. So don't bother.

Just today in the news, Raymond Dokpesey - the beneficiary of the $2.1billion arms deal scandal was aquited by a court of law in dramatic fashion.

Basically $2.1billion gone down the drain huh

Imagine how many sophisticated weapons this money will buy if spent honestly/ diligently?

Imagine the state of the art hospital it will build for a country like Nigeria? For the record the president is currently away in a London hospital treating an undisclosed illness.

Or the massive upgrade it would do to our universities if invested there? huh

All in all bro, the country is gone to the dogs. Whosoever believe it will get better with this current status quo is doing so at his peril.
The country is more than gone to the dogs, i lost hope finally the day i saw Tinubu as one of those contesting for the president in 2023 , should people even allow him with what happened at Lekki Toll Gate ! Omoh Nigeria is dead , a country killing its citizen ? One of the reason I can’t even give my blood/sweat for our motherland ! I have really lost hope in Nigeria , sad but true

You need to chill about this job stuff in ghana...ghana is not a hub for job opportunities for foreigners
Yeah about the job stuff in Ghana he need to chill and if he thinks he really need to leave Nigeria then he should be prepared ! No country is easy to work as a foreigner even the almighty Usa ain’t easy for blacks/foreigner , determination is all that matters. I believe if someone could be humble and start a car wash business in Ghana ,he might strive because earning 1000 cedis in a month is 100k in naira and he can do a bit better than Nigeria

Even though Ghana is not as beautiful as Nigeria but the peace within the country is almost Unrivaled, no police harassment, yet there police are doing there jobs diligently asking for car papers and other thing they need to check and that’s all, haven’t heard about anyone caught stealing nor any cars colliding because even there drivers are in peace and road laws seem important here

Because they are 50 pesos each making 1 cedi and a cedi is 100 naira .

Good morning !
Regards the Time zone Ghana is a hour behind Nigeria! And what I notice in Ghana again is the way they respect there traffic light. I will send some pictures regards that when I am out today! I have moved around a lot since I arrived 10 days ago now and every single time they respect there traffic light so much and you will never see a bike without an helmet here !
There traffic laws are really important to them and yes they still spend coins in Ghana lol funny but true , there coins are called Pesos .
