Amen o, it must surely end in praise and my program is starting by January 6 and yours and what stage is your application? But I doubt if my application will be sorted by then because some September applicants here are still told to be patient... Geez |

adeenzo: Yes, It has been approved, Med exam takes from 3-10 days to get approved, Qlife and IOM are the only hospitals designated by Canada to run the med exam. Thank You adeenzo So a medical getting approved doesn’t even mean that the study permit will be approved? Do they approve every applicants Medicals |

adeenzo: you can send an email to them, canadamedicals@qlifefamilyclinic.com
Good day, Mr name is ??, I will like to book a medical appointment for my Canada study permit visa application. Please may I know the next available date? Do revert.
Thanks Okay thanks! I asked earlier if your medicals have been approved since you said you did an upfront medicals when you couldn’t get a medical request! And is Qlife the only hospital in Lagos that I can get a medical done |

adeenzo: Lol, I applied on Sept 7th and till now I haven't gotten a medical request, I had to just go ahead and do an upfront medical exam. if you can do your medical request upfront do it because available medical appointment dates are running thin. That 2 weeks time frame isn't so feasibly, no time frame with Canada is definite now. It’s okay ma’am Has your medicals been approved then? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by HorlarJP: 11:54am On Nov 18, 2020 |
Baphil: I see you have submitted since you have done your biometrics. Do your medicals and aise a web form then. Bear in mind that you need to book appointment for your medicals too and you may not get a very near date as desired.
When are you planning to resume? I will be resuming in January 6 |

Good morning I was chatting with a friend that we both applied for Canada and she told me her agent told her that a medical will be requested for 2 weeks after our biometrics. How real is it please? I was thinking of doing an upfront medical or wait since the 2 weeks will be completed by tomorrow since I did my biometrics on the 5th of November! |

adeenzo: When did you submit your application? See ehh, don’t let Canada give you headache, because this VOs like to take their time to do their job, don’t think they will rush anything because you are a January applicant, you just need to exercise patience, and take your mind off checking your portal every 30 seconds (trust me I learnt this stuff the hard way) It will end in praise Maybe i will learn it the hard way too lol, You mean when i applied for visa itself or when i did biometrics? 30 seconds? I do check it every 10 seconds lol... but Jokes apart do you think everything will be sorted out before December ending(I mean the medical request, PPR and others) some people who did there biometrics in October are even saying they haven’t started reviewing eligibility for them Thanks |

At times I come on here to lift my hope, I have been anxious as hell and it is just only a week that I did my biometrics.
And also can someone reply me on how much I am going to do the medical at Qlife because it seem an upfront medical is the solution now

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by HorlarJP: 10:57am On Nov 11, 2020 |
NairaLuck: It's possible but it's very very very rare I think I only saw 2 cases like that on this platform this year, although it was AIP dropping about 7days.
Like I said patience is the key, while some get approved within a month others take months. I for instance my application is 84days today but we're still waiting, although I did upfront Medical. Those very fast applications are like 3% of applicants and sometimes are not applications from Nigeria while some are from here. Every application is different Okay bro, thanks! I am anxious because I will be resuming on the 6th of January and I only just did biometrics a week ago, hops I will be able to meet up with the resumption date if everything goes well!? |

kelvine95: 5 days What year was that? I don't even think IRCC have started reviewing eligibility for us that applied between first week of October and now. That was what he said, he just kept on telling me to keep checking my mail for the medical request and I only did my biometrics last week Thursday! |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by HorlarJP: 8:56am On Nov 11, 2020 |
NairaLuck: just a little advise to new applicants from October and maybe late September
Kindly exercise long patience The PPRs you witnessed this week and last 2weeks were applications from March to August and some August and September are yet to receive an update.
It's good to anticipate but with Canada, the only way to avoid slipping into depression is taking your mind off your application going about your normal duties, engage yourselves and redirect your mind else where. The green light to most successful applications is MEDICAL REQUEST. Even when you receive such, sometimes they still delay a lil bit before final approval, nor Let IRCC rush your application go give you NEGATIVE.
Patience is the key, Standard processing time is now 15weeks so put your mind to rest. You may only start sending emails to the different offices on your status after the standard processing time. Again, Nor Let IRCC rush your application go give you NEGATIVE.
Constant checking won't in anyway influence the decision, once submitted, the others is between GOD, the VO and the DOCs you provided, and SOP, however KEEP HOPE ALIVE
We will all get there IT IS STILL OUR MONTH OF PRAISE
Another set of BVL and PPR will rain from 15th to 18th Thanks NairaLuck, I did my biometrics a week ago now and I am anxious so much already lol, I really need this , and can I ask how long does it take to get a medical request, a friend got his medical request only just after 5 days so just asking |

Hello everyone, i did my biometrics on the 5th of November and I was using an agent before i got to know of this group and now i can say i am really happy to be in this thread, I even regretted not to have written my SOP myself because my agent did all for me, Please is there a way to check my biometrics status without my agent knowing i keep asking her and she said it will take time but I really want to keep checking things out myself too since I know some basics by going through the thread here ! Thanks
It will end in praises lol. |

Chocs: Hello HorlarJP,
Medical examination is a part of study permit application if your studies will be more than 6 months.
There are 2 ways to get it done:
Upfront examination: you do it and submit it to IRCC before they request for it
Medical request; you wait for them to ask you to go and do a medical examination
So far, if you are asked to go for a medical examination by IRCC, it’s a positive sign. Your permit would most likely be granted.
All the best Thanks bro, then IRCC should request for my Medical lol |

Chocs: Hello HorlarJP,
It can be that fast, we’ve seen many cases like that. It can also take a time and end up being rejected. There’s no fixed format for it.
Best wishes Thank you!. |

Good afternoon Y’all here, was reading through the thread and I saw someone who said he applied for the study permit and 5 days later he got a reply that he was denied , is it so fast because I just only did my biometrics on the 5th of November Thanks |

I did my biometrics on the 5th of November and then a friend processing Canada told me I will have to do a medical report too some days after! Is it true and compulsory because I would have been so sad and enraged I didn’t do it together when I went for my biometrics , the cost of my expenses when I went to Lagos sucks that I don’t want to go againand does it mean my study permit is approved if I am called for medical |
