Nord: Nigeria’s Latest Homegrown Automaker

Nord has been manufacturing since 2018, although testing had begun since 2016.

The word ‘Nord’ is French, Romanian and Italian for ‘North’, which symbolizes moving forward-upwards.

‘Nord’ is not related to the American car brand ‘Ford’, in case you’re wondering.

Nord’s headquarters is located in Ikate, Lekki and operates an assembly plant in Sangotedo, Lagos.

As controversy continues to trail the planned purchase of luxury vehicles by federal lawmakers with many Nigerians criticising the
idea, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Services, Sunday Karimi, has explained that members of the Senate and the House
of Representatives choose foreign-made Sport Utility Vehicle (SUVs) Land Cruisers and Prados because of “quality and durability”.

President doesn't patronise any nigerian hospital, he doesn't use any made-in-nigeria car like Innoson, or any other made in Nigeria good.
The VP ,ministers, Judges, military heads and all heads of agencies don't use either.

THOUSANDS of protesters gathered in Tel Aviv calling on Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign.

Footage on social media showed people, including the friends and families of Hamas hostages, gathered in central Tel Aviv demanding greater efforts from their government and the international community to bring their loved ones home.
