Has anyone noticed the new pop-up warnings on PalmPay when you're about to make a transfer to a suspicious account? I saw it yesterday when I was sending money to someone. The app actually warned me that the recipient had been flagged for suspicious activity. I canceled the transaction immediately. That feature saved me.

Night Guard is actually an interesting feature because it's based on how people use their accounts. If you're normally not transacting during certain hours, having additional protection around that period makes sense. I like security features that are practical and don't require you to remember to do something every single time you use the app.

One thing I've learnt is that security isn't something you should only think about when you notice suspicious activity. It's better to have your settings configured beforehand. That's why I like features such as Transaction Guard and Night Guard. They give you additional ways to manage how your account is accessed and used.

I get Opay and PalmPay. For my daily transfers, they have both been smooth. No strange debit stories from my side.

I use PalmPay mainly for savings and OPay for transfers. That combination has worked better than sticking to just one app.

Which is more reliable in 2026: OPay, PalmPay or Moniepoint? In terms of customer support, transactions and fund reversals?

I’m trying to decide on the best fintech app to use more consistently this year in Nigeria. I’ve been leaning towards PalmPay because of the free transfers and it’s been really convenient not worrying about fees for everyday payments.
I’m also curious about their savings feature. Has anyone here used it? How reliable is it and are the returns worth it? Would love to hear what people recommend and any real experiences

Reliability isn’t just uptime, it’s how issues are resolved. PalmPay does slightly better there compared to OPay and Moniepoint.

This is not true It has been brought to the notice of Rt hon Owolabi Yusuf Abiola popularly known as hon Yusluv and Sen. Adeshina Oluwaseyi known as Sen. Young Prof that a publication by an unknown user on Nairaland.com a faceless website known for peddling rumours has indicted the two personalities mentioned above of attacking a said student on an unstated date and that they are wanted by unclear and unstated school authorities. The general public is hereby informed that both sen. Young Prof and Rt hon Yusluv are law abiding students of the faculty of agricultural sciences, lautech, who are well known by all and Sundry as peace loving and easy going students. It is expected that students or personalities who have one time or the other participated in students union activism are attacked by public defaming publications as the one on Nairaland by well known detractors and haters of progress who will go at any length to publicly defame anyone who stands in the way of impunity, corruption and bad leadership. We urge the general public to debunk these alleged rumours as the school management has not come up with any publication requesting for the presence of the said indicted persons as regards any acts of violence whatsoever.

You have only one vote and that's if you vote

Davido should be secretly nursing a political ambition.

Shegzy8:
And you believe that shit...someone said and showed the stats in % not figures...if one person votes and others don't, it will be written 100% for Leo and others 0%...your stance might be true we CE can't know the number of people who voted from the pic..it just no possible for modric to get 2%, mbappe 2%, messi 48%....Rinaldo how many then?
