Heard one cannot re-apply till after 6 Months. How true is that
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 8:31pm On May 31, 2022
lol... I have been to Kenya, and Dubai multiple times and still got denied.

If you have a chance to apply from another Africa country please do. The brazil consulate in Lagos are not smiling.

Acme45:
so traveling to Ghana, Togo etc are not travel history?
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 8:28pm On May 31, 2022
Still not strong enough unless you want to try your luck.. I submitted way more and still go rejected. I would advice you search for a proper travel tour company that is running a tour program in Brazil. use them to build strong reason why you want to travel to brazil.

The embassy are denying people without strong reason now.

Phamoo4u:

Dubai doesn't count as travel history

Princebizzie:
Please can me and my wife be considered for tourist visa of Brazil if he first make a week trip to Dubai to boost travel history particularly because of my wife who had no travel history, I have been to Turkey and Israel on my own part.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 11:06pm On May 25, 2022
I wasn't approved... But it usually takes not more than 2 weeks in the past. But right now at the Brazil embassy, they are behaving anyhow.

kindness111:
Good evening people of God, please those that got their visa approved, how long after the interview did you get approval? This wait is getting too long oo
TravelRe: Lets Talk About Estonia by hostsleek(m): 11:50am On May 24, 2022

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 6:21pm On May 14, 2022
Too risky/stressful... If you are pregnant I won't advise.

Ebubechi2021:
Another route is Guyana, though I heard they don't have an embassy in Nigeria
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 4:48pm On May 13, 2022
I agree 100%.

It has nothing to do with our packaging... More to do with Diplomatic agreements.

HOKIM:
Not necessarily true ,sir......
We as Africans shouldn't need visas to go to south America anyways, We didn't need visas to get to Brazil in the '90s.... the issue isn't bout what we do right or wrong... its alot to do with Diplomatic agreements with the nations... our leaders dont make alot of visa diplomatic relationships because everyday they are scared of BRAIN-DRAIN but they have diplomatic passports so they can afford to leave whenever they choose.. that's the difference and they give diplomatic passports to their families and friends..etc....
So with this you will see it has NOTHING to do with our actions....

pufframmy:

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 11:22am On May 12, 2022
lol.. Its okay.. It is them holding my passport for 3 months that's annoying me. Wont apply for visa from Nigeria anymore.

Just go there and request for it. I feel it is automatic denial if you collect your VISA before time.

Meanwhile, i provided more than sufficient funds for travel.. lol

Soraco57:
So sorry bro, what are the criteria to pick up the passport bro, can’t wait either anymore, thanks
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 10:15am On May 12, 2022
so I couldn't hold on anymore. I had to go pick up my wife's passport yesterday because she needed it for something else.

But they gave me both hers and mine. lol... I was told a decision was made and I was denied. I was like how and why. the person at the counter said he doesn't know lol... Anyway, no reason for denial. i suspect because I asked for the passport they automatically just cancel the application.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 1:48pm On May 11, 2022

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 7:27pm On May 07, 2022
But na wa ohh.. Why is Visiting VISA taking 3 months +... It is not only brazil someone wants to travel to this year. I even applied early so I can use my passport for other things. Now i am stuck without a clue. My suggestion would be they ask one to come for stamping when approved than hold on to someone's passport.

Do you guys know if it is possible to collect the passport without automatically rejecting the application?
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 1:06pm On May 06, 2022
Please can one travel to Brazil with a valid UK visa or Schengen Visa.

Just like Mexico.
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 1:02pm On May 06, 2022
Is it easy to use Suriname.. I have watched some videos and it looks very stressful

Chiefholloway:
On God, if not for the love I have for Brazil eh..., I for call them insult even their oga sef.

Two months is too much to hold on to someone's passport let alone three. It's either you approve or decline.

Either way, we wey really want to visit Brazil will collect our passports then follow Suriname or Bolivia or even colombia enter
TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 10:03pm On May 05, 2022

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 4:50pm On May 05, 2022
You are lucky.. Mine since Feb 20+th. Nothing yet.

Travel should start in 1 and half weeks. No VISA or passport yet. I even need the passport for another VISA application first week of next month.

And might have to pull this one off SAD.

cucumbar:
I applied on January 10, it was approved on February 4th
TravelRe: Lets Talk About Estonia by hostsleek(m): 8:55am On May 05, 2022
Hi Nairalanders.

I have an Estonia appointment with the embassy in Egypt for June but was recently told getting a visa is hard.. how do you guys go about it travelling to Egypt.

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 8:49am On May 05, 2022
Maybe with good travel history, they might give 1-year multiple entries.

cucumbar:
is it that they no longer give 1 year? huh
Thought the standard was 1 year.

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Brazil by hostsleek(m): 11:26am On Apr 26, 2022
I don't think brazil is issuing visas for now. because you can't promise 21 days and people's visas are still processing for 3 months now without reason for the hold. My suggestion to them would be this. They should not request for passport till visa is approved because we have things to do with our passports. Once can't travel or plan another trip.
