The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the Senate Batch B mobilization list for the 2017 Corp members has been released. The list has been successfully uploaded online on the official NYSC website.

The deadline given to schools to submit their list to NYSC was Saturday 21st October. Most schools were able to meet up with the deadline. If your school is yet to upload its list, kindly exercise patience and check back later as the upload is still on.

This is to inform the general public that the 2018/2019 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration commencement date will soon be announced.

We decided to create this Portal to avail prospective applicants with the latest trend about 2018/2019 JAMB UTME.

2018 JAMB UTME registration will be done through JAMB certified registration centres nationwide just like the way it was done in 2017.

The 2017 JAMB UTME will only feature Computer Based Test – CBT (just like the previously conducted UTME).

This thread will assist applicants in the following ways

1. Inform applicants on date of commencement of 2018 JAMB Registration

2. Inform applicants of the application process

3. Assist applicants in choosing their preferred course of study, subject combination, institution of study and the registration process.

4. Update applicants on the latest information about JAMB Registration, JAMB CBT exam, Result checker, Change of institution, Cut-off Mark and admission process

The Presidency has given reasons why some N power volunteers have not been paid.

Following several complaints over the late/non-payment of allowances of volunteers under its N-Power scheme, the Presidency has stated, according to Nigerian Bulletin, that failure of participants not receiving their allowances are as a result of some factors.

Pilgrim scholarship doesn't make sense it's part of Corruption.

I believe the Quran did not mandate every Muslim to visit Mecca. it only said if you have money you should try and visit Mecca for Umrah. As for the Christians, the Bible didn't not even say anything about visiting Jerusalem. So the govt both at State and Federal should hands off Pilgrim scholarship and use the money for infrastructure or welfare of the people.

Who ever is buoyant enough should go if not you don't need to go.

The Lagos State Government says it has saved N2.4 billion with the stoppage of annual sponsorship of pilgrims to Jerusalem and Mecca. The state's comissioner for Home Affairs, Dr. Abdulhakeem Abdullateef, disclosed this at a press briefing in Alausa yesterday May 2nd.

According to Abdullateef, the saved money has been used to finance infrastructural projects and other developmental programmes in the State.
