The first civilian governor of Osun State and serving senator, Isiaka Adeleke, who died in the early hours of Sunday, April 23, 2017, at a private hospital in Osogbo .

Adeleke was 62.

A member of the Nigerian Senate, Isiaka Adeleke has died. The three-term Senator currently representing Osun West Senatorial district having won the election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in 2015.
