Hastom Green City is creating an opportunity for intending farm managers to learn what it takes to be a farm manager. Managing a personal farm of less than 20 acres is a good experience but nothing can be compared to managing farms above 50 acres not just for yourself but for others. Prospective interns who prove to be passionate and committed to the path of farm management stand a chance benefitting the following;
1. Learning what it means and takes to handle big farms of 50 acres and above.
2. Learn more on crop and livestock management.
3. Job recommendation to our clients opening up farms in our new green cities
4. Farm management career with Hastom Global Services Limited

Internship Modalities

Internship Duration: six months
Fully residential (on farm), feeding is excluded.
Location: Hastom Green City, Baba Eko Village, Ogbomosho, Oyo state.
Tuition: Free
Criteria For Application:
1. Passion for agriculture
2. Possession of entrepreneurial instinct.
3. Readiness to learn new things
4. Readiness to live on farm.

Training Module
The training sessions will cover the following but not limited to;
1. Understanding The Farm Setting
2. Farm Management And Decision-Making
3. Farm Management Tools
4. The Planning Process.
5. Basic human resource management.
Facilitators will always be around at intervals to further broaden perspectives of interns on selected subject matters.

Internship kick off time: 3rd October, 2016
