Christianity EtcRe: Why Do People Get Scared Of Ember Months by Howto: 1:11pm On Sep 02, 2013
That is the same question i use to asked myself because i see no reason why a Christians should be scared or have fear about ember month when they know they are saving a living God, some says people really die during ember month yes i agree with them but if it is not God's will for you 2 die no one can kill you so my advice to them is that they should stop being scared instead they should be prayerful.

FamilyHow To Prevent Mosquito Bite by Howto(op): 12:59pm On Sep 02, 2013
Nobody cares for mosquitoes, perhaps because they seem to serve no useful function for humans. For most mosquito species, the female draws food for her developing eggs by inserting her proboscis into the flesh of a mammal or reptile and drawing blood. Unfortunately the mosquito’s bite also brings along discomfort, pain, and sometimes disease, or even an allergic reaction in a growing number of cases. Diseases spread by the mosquito are numerous in certain areas and include millions of deaths by malaria each year, as well as recent outbreaks of the West Nile Virus. Not all mosquito species transmit disease to humans, but because they’re so small it is difficult to easily tell which species is in your vicinity. Bite prevention is the best cure, so in other words, deter the mosquito before it bites you.

Clear out any standing water. Do not let water accumulate outside in gutters, pots, trash bins, etc. You want to keep water from standing still because mosquitoes will use the water to lay larvae eggs and duplicate.
Use mint flavored mouthwash in a spray bottle to spray around your home and your plants to keep the mosquitoes away- this is an old home remedy that really works!
You can spray PAM or any other spray oil in water to kill the larvae and avoid them from duplicating. The oil stops them from reproducing.

Mix a DIY home-made bug spray made out of Neem Oil (1 tablespoon) and 1 gallon water to spray on plants.
Another Mix at home DIY spray is tea tree oil and water which you can also spray around your home.
Yellow bug lights (use the energy saving ones, the work great!) found at your local grocery store, Walmart, Target, HEB, etc.
Mosquito nets
You can rub dryer sheets on your body to scent yourself up; the mosquitoes do not like the scent and will stay away from you.
Citronella candles.
You can also use some of the melted citronella candle wax and mix it in with some lotion or sunscreen to create a DIY mosquito repelling lotion.
You can also eat up some fresh garlic, garlic capsules, rub fresh cut garlic on pulse points, or even puree some garlic and mix in with water to spray on plants and on yourself (you might smell a little funny, but the bugs will stay out of your way).
Take an extra dose of vitamin B1 when you know you will be spending a lot of time outdoors (this is Thiamin; always speak to your doctor before taking any extra vitamins or supplements).
If you can stand it, wear long sleeve pants and tops when outdoors to prevent mosquitoes from biting.
Wear the color “white” when outside, mosquitoes tend to stay away from this color.
Attract blue martin birds and dragonflies to your garden. They love to eat mosquitoes!
Austin is proud to be a Bat city…you can place bat houses around your taller trees to attract bats to your home. These bats can eat thousands of mosquitoes every day! You got to love those Austin Bats!
Garden your way into a mosquito free yard by planting mosquito repelling plants around and near your door way and sporadically around your garden. Plants to use to repel mosquitoes are: Mint (any kind, but I especially like pennyroyal mint), basil, catmint, rosemary, yarrow, marigold, vanilla scented geraniums, garlic, lemon balm and citronella plants.

ComputersHow To Change Your Birthday On Facebook by Howto(op): 12:42pm On Aug 14, 2013
Facebook is one of the major social networking websites used by millions of people who keep in touch with friends, upload photos and share videos and links. You can even share your personal information like your birthday, hometown, likes, status updates, etc. You can edit your profile to make any necessary changes. For example, to edit your birthday, go to edit profile, then the Birthday section: once there, edit and save the changes. The number of times you can edit your birthday is limited. You have to wait a few days before you can re-edit this data again.

Whether you want to change it because you entered it incorrectly, or because you don’t want people to know exactly how old you are, these easy tips will help you change your birthday in just one minute.

Login in to your Facebook account. Enter your username and password.
Facebook
Click on your name on the top left hand corner of the home page to go to your Timeline. You can find it to the right of your profile picture.
On your Timeline page, click on “About” under your profile picture.
Facebook
Locate the “Basic Info” section in the middle of the right side of the page. Click “Edit.”
Edit your birthday. You can click on the arrows to select the month, day, and year when you were born. After you do that, you can choose one of three settings:
Be safe. Facebook can be the perfect place to catch up with old friends and to see what your new friends are up to, but it’s possible to find yourself in a dangerous friendship if you’re not careful.
If you meet someone through Facebook, be aware that the person may not be sharing his real age with you.
Avoid Facebook if you’re too young to understand its repercussions. Remember that according to Facebook policy, you must be at least 13 years old.
