Pardon me for breaking down your post into bits. I don't want to leave anything out probably because your post stirred my sensibilities.

(1) Bros, it is not even negotiable. I gast do am. If you had the faintest idea of what these mofos have made me go thru, you will not wish such ill treatment on your worst enemies.

(2) I beg to differ. Ok, lemme give you a sneak peak into what Ive been thru. My sincere apologies to those who may think I am whining.

My broda, I work for a miserable, sadistic company in the manufacturing industry. Please note that it NEVER crossed my mind for a second while I was in school that I would work in a manufacturing company for even a day. For me it was either OIL AND GAS or OIL AND GAS. there was no other option. But as fate would have it, and after spending over 2 years in the labour market, I had to settle for this company in 2006 while still continuing my hustle for the oil and gas job on the side.

This company is a multinational for your info with operating units in West and east Africa, Europe and Asia. You will not believe that I have never been sent to any other OU outside naija for even a day either for training, secondments or in any other official capacity. meanwhile almost everybody that I know has been out multiple times. In fact, many colleagues were enrolled in a Diploma programme with a university in the UK that will have them spend 1 week in every 6 weeks in the UK and this arrangement would last for 3 years or so. But Forkadict does not deserve this. Some others were even sent on secondments where they will spend anywhere from weeks to months overseas. again, Forkadict does not deserve this according to those mofos. Even local training sef, I recall a few years that I attended only one locally organised training session in those years and those training courses were compulsory for all staff otherwise, I could have gone for 2 straight years without attending a single training course.

Now lets talk promotion. Prior to 2013, I felt I was denied a promotion. But rather than wait for my direct boss to do that, I decided to apply for an internal vacancy that was a step higher at the time. My boss kicked against it citing reasons that the team needs me and that opportunities abound in my current role. To cut a long story short, the transfer was denied and he ended up not promoting me till this very moment. I could cite a few more instances but lets just stop here.

(3) I will most def leave with my dignity intact but I want the 'painment' to be maximally felt.

(4) Some other place, some other time. some other people, perhaps. But with these mofos at this time, omo na lie o.

Phew! Pardon me folks, I didn't mean to bore anyone.

But still on still sha, #NaGodWin.

Congrats bro. I can relate. I think I know this your coy in the manufacturing sector. The uni in UK where they train their staff does it by any means have a 'w' in it?

It depend tho,

a lady living in yankee have a justifiable reason for smoking,i.e cos of the cold but what beat me is why a woman in nigeria, especially in hot goegraphical zone will be puffing smoke even on the hot sun, with heat,,little wonder they die like chickens,if dey no die self dey will start having mental disorder.sad
And who told you they smoke because of the cold? A cup of coffee warms up the body more than cigarette. People smoke because they want to.

Looolz... I was an advocate of controlled/structured spilling not word for word. I just don a reconnaissance on d moniker and it's a new registration barely a day old. I'm currently in PH and carelessly used a cyber café where I might have forgotten to log out of my NLNG account. So I'm guessing whoever it is "shoulder-surfed" while I was there and is spear phishing.

But I tell u brethren, whoever it is has very specific information. I led s/him on and to prove his/her point s/he sent me a snippet of info. My jaw dropped

You wanna spill?

So far so good about 400 persons would hv done the AC since it started on the 8th of June, all things been equal.

Four weeks into the AC excercise and with 20 persons per day.

2 weeks in Abuja and another 2 weeks in Lagos so far.

4 weeks * 5 days/wk * 20 persons/day = 400 persons done till date.

Questions??

Does AC till continue in Lagos next week?

When does PH AC start?

When is the end date for this AC?

If this AC continues like this every week without any break in between and some persons claim to have AC in August, then AC peeps could be up to 1000 altogether?

Lastly, those that have done theirs have you started receiving refund for your transport, because i have not yet receive any though i did mine on the second day of the whole excercise?
AC will hold in Lagos for one more week before moving to port Harcourt. PH AC might be only one week sha making a total of about 600 candidates.

due to circumstances beyond my control, I won't be able to make the June 21 session in lagos. You P.A spoke about one on one sessions. How effective is that considering that the A.C is more team oriented?

1, What are the dates for AC in Lagos, PH and Abuja?
2, Is it only one assessment per location or a multiple?

Thanks

Hello guys,

My career consulting firm, JarusHub Consulting, is organizing Mock Assessment Center for the forthcoming NLNG Assessment Center.

We did similar thing for Oando Assessment that is just ending. We have also done for other companies like NNPC, PwC and KPMG

It essentially involves practicing everything you will be required to do at the live assessment center. You get opportunity to do analytical presentation, case study and group task as if you're in the real center.

You get opportunity to meet and work with others who may end up being in same group with you on the assessment day, which will raise your confidence.

Areas that you need to improve on will also be shared with you after the mock sessions.

The Chief Coach is an experienced oil and gas person with more than 7 years experience in Nigeria's oil and gas industry.

Sessions

Sunday, May 24, 4-7pm
Sunday, May 31, 4-7pm
Sunday, June 7, 4-7pm

We normally do on Sundays, but we can organize during weekdays too (7-9pm) on special request by a team who couldn't make it to the weekend sessions.

Our office is 59, Queen Street, Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos

For more info:

Oga Jarus,
any consideration for peeps who aren't presently in the country and whose AC dates are like two weeks after the last date posted. Can another session be organised for 3rd to last week in June.
Merci.
