Born in 1984, Nigerian hip-hop artist Vector Tha Viper turns 31 years-old today, 7 August, 2015.

Read: Vector is a year older.

Vector is currently one of the top acts in the Naija rap game. Also known to be a poet, songwriter and producer, his rap style has been compared to that of American rapper Jay Z.

1. The rapper's real name is Olanrewaju Ogunmefun. His middle name is David.

2. He is the voice behind the 2009 Sprite radio commercial.

3. Vector was once part of a group called ‘Badder Boiz’. In 1999 they recorded their first demo. The group remained together until 2004.

4. His debut album 'State Of Surprise' was released on 29 October 2010. Following his solo debut, he has also released a sophomore album, two mixtapes and a couple of singles.

5. In 2013, he and YSG Entertainment, the record label he was signed to at the time, had a fall out over a breach of contract which led to him being detained by police.

6. The lyricist is not signed to any record label. He is currently associated with a new imprint called G-Rap which he describes as a movement.

7. There was once beef between him and indigenous rapper Reminisce. Vector dissed him on Sauce Kid's 'Kitchen Street' in response, Reminisce dissed Vector on a track titled 'ATA'. On on 30 December, 2013, the two came together and put their differences aside. Reminisce recently featured on Vector's 'King kong' remix.

Dame Patience Jonathan, the former First Lady of Nigeria, has caused some tension in Bayelsa state in the build up to the forthcoming governorship election.

Patience is reportedly making moves to hijack the Bayelsa state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress, (APC).



According to reports by the Sun, a group simply known as the ‘Forum For Political Freedom in Bayelsa State’ (FOPOF) has accused Patience for using her unlawfully acquired wealth to fund and create a power bloc in the APC withinnthe state. The group is also claiming that Patience is using members of the defunct Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria whom she similarly used to weaken the leadership of the opposition party in the state in the period leading up to the last presidential poll which her husband lost.



Elder Adenzi Kakarite, a leader of the group has released a statement which reads in part: ”The former First Lady is very greedy and selfish by wanting to sponsor the candidates of both the PDP and the APC, so that she can continue to milk the state dry. Bayelsans must rise up and resist this woman, who clearly does not mean well for Bayelsa state, because she was partly the reason for the husband’s defeat in the last presidential election; and since she couldn’t succeed at the national levl

As I was going through my “ashana’s” bag some days ago and I saw three packets of POSTINOR 2 in it , I was very curious to actually know if this drug had very severe side effects to a lady so i consulted my real girlfriend “google. com” some hours later.

Postinor 2 is a medication to prevent pregnancy if you shine the sperm into the ovary, whether intentional or not. It can prevent pregnancy 95% in the first 24 hours after intercourse, it is used as a form of emergency contraception (more commonly known as a morning after pill).

Postinor-2 is formulated to function in a manner similar to the female hormone progesterone allowing for prevention of pregnancy if taken within a reasonable period of time. Generally, it is recommended that Postinor-2 be taken no later than three days after having unprotected sex.



EFFECTS OF POSTINOR 2
When taken in the middle of the menstrual cycle, the preparation may inhibit ovulation.
The pill can cause changes in the menstrual cycle in the lady. Your next period could start earlier or later than expected and flow can be lighter or heavier than normal.

It can cause nauseating feeling which occurs in approximately 25% of users vomiting.

It can also bring about bleeding disturbances in some cases, 2-3 days following tablet ingestion
Sometimes it can cause breast tenderness, headache, dizziness, fatigue.

In the majority of cases the next period starts as expected or somewhat earlier, if the period is more than 7 days late it is recommended to perform a pregnancy test.




In case of prolonged or heavy bleeding, gynaecological examinations is advised.

If the user has a reported case of asthma, heart failure, hypertension, migraine, epilepsy, renal impairment, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidaemia, depression, and / or stroke, the preparation may be used exclusively in the above mentioned emergency cases. it is not appropriate for regular use.



The manufacturer of the emergency contraceptive offers the efficiency of the pill when it is taken as directed. Logically, the longer the interval between unprotected sex and taking the pill, the decrease in how effective it will be. It is estimated that Postinor-2 will prevent 85% of expected pregnancies. 95% of expected pregnancies will be prevented if taken within the first 24 hours.

Last season on MTV Shuga, Dorcas Shola Fapson came across as vivacious when she played Sophie, the runs babe, but to the British-born actress who started acting only two years ago, it was simply about the role. And in this interview with JOE AGBRO JR., Fapson reveals
her impressions of Nollywood, how far she would go to interpret a role amongst other things.
Excerpts:
Who is Sophie in Shuga?
Last season, Sophie was a ‘runs’ babe and she was a very outgoing, fun, bubbly, no-filter kind of girl. She just did what she wanted, not caring who it affected or how it affected anyone. She lived a carefree life. As a ‘runs’ babe, she was well-off. This season, Sophie is a lot more mature. She is determined to be a better person. She is working, making her own money. So, she is no longer a ‘runs’ babe, and has transitioned from being a ‘runs’ babe to a working lady; and a kind of mentor to her younger sister.
So, how much of Dorcas is Sophie?
I think this season, Sophie is a lot more like Dorcas because she is working, focused, and is very on-point with her sex life. I feel like, last season, we were very different because she was a ‘runs’ babe, sleeping with anybody who could pay her rent, or school fees, or buy her a nice bag. So, I feel like this season, Dorcas and Sophie are very similar because, like I said, Sophie is very hardworking this season, and she is an independent person, rather than relying on men to pay for her.
So, what has been the experience on the Shuga set?
Hmmm. It’s been fun. Last season was really fun with the cast and everybody. This season is fun again with the new and old cast. And also, on and off set, we’re all cool together. They’re amazing actors and actresses.
Did Shuga give you your first major role?
Yes, Last season on Shuga was my TV debut; my first on-screen role, and break-in into the industry.
Aside from Shuga, what have you done?
I’m working on a few things. At the moment I’m not allowed to talk about it because the press release is not out yet.

Nobody got killed or injured after this car flew and landed on the roof of this house in Kwamakhutha Township in Durban, South Africa this morning. The driver of the car said he drove over a ramp causing his car to somersault and crash-land on the roof of the building. Someone who was sleeping when the car landed on the house ran out unhurt.
