The president is simply buying time. He simply cannot implement that report. Any report that indicts petroleum minister and calls for her sack and prosecution cannot survive in a pdp- led govt. Why should orosanye surface at the end of a committee's findings to condemn it? And this is a committee he was supposed to be part of! You see, pdp uses corruption to fight Nigerians, and Nigerians are simply tired of pdp, because they do not care what you think of them. Bunch of crim.inals. Do you think gej has plans of transforming anything ? Look at the power sector. He removed his best performing minister because pdp wanted to hijack the bidding process. This is very sad indeed. It seems the battle line has been drawn between the igbo youth and the yoruba youth. Frankly it is not a good development. I think the yorubas here shouldn't have started insulting ibos on this theread the way they did (review for yourself). It is particularly worrisome because these are supposed to be the future leaders of Nigeria in all spheres of life. How will these relations be in future? Time will tell. However, I would appreciate if we could be more intellectual in looking for solutions to Nigeria's problems. Instead of hating the igbos for Biafra, I plead with yorubas(who don't move round Nigeria as much as the ibos) to travel round the east and see why the ibos are aggrieved. Unfortunately on the part of the ibos, the civil war didn't teach them a hard enough lesson on the issue of unity. one should have seen the region developing itself in a more united and purposeful manner, irrespective of political affiliation. But please again, let us respect one another, becsause of tomorrow. We all need each other for one thing or the other. But let us stop stupid and inflammatory Biafra-phobic/anti-yoruba comments on this thread. |
