A club Premire league official has insisted that Players who refuse to return to training shouldn’t be paid their wages.
The premier league hopes to return in mid-June according to reports, with all 20 clubs set to hold a meeting on Monday in a bid to allow teams resume training during the week.

Premier League players have experienced their worries over early plans for a possible return to action.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero said last week “The majority of players are scared because they have family, they have children, they have babies, parents.”

In an interview with Sky Sports, a senior club official said if players feel concerned about returning to training then clubs shouldn’t pay their wages.

On loan Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi was on target for his club Mainz 05 being his first for the Bundesliga club against cologne.
Taiwo Awoniyi was on target for Relegation-threatened Mainz, his first goal for the Bundesliga side, since his loan move from premier league club, Liverpool.

The forward had expressed his readiness ahead of today’s clash with Cologne in an interview with BBC sports Africa.

Mainz held Fc Cologne, to a 2-2 draw in Sunday encounter at the Rhein EnergieStadion.

The home team took an early lead from through a spot-kick that was converted by Mark Uth in the 6th minutes.

Cologne extended their lead in the 53rd minute through Florian Kainz assisted by Dominick Drexler to make it 2-0.

Awoniyi came off the bench in the 55th minute and pull one back to reduce the deficit for the away team to 2-1.

Tottenham striker Son Heung-min, with a pistol and an army uniform while undergoing military training in South Korea during the pandemic of coronavirus

Tottenham striker Son Heung-min returned to South Korea in April to undergo compulsory military training.
Son is required to undergo a four weeks military, training as mandated for all males from the Age of 28, by South Korean law.

He will be subjected to tear gas, going for long walks, and will be taught how to fire weapons on Jeju Island during his time.

And he was captured on Wednesday with a firearm and full army gear.

Italian giants Juventus has announced that forward Paulo Dybala has fully recovered from infectious diseases, another Serie A club, Torino stated that one of their players has contacted the pandemic, according to ESPN.

The Spanish top two divisions were Suspended in March amid the COVID-19. Plans have been set up to ease the lockdown in different phases.

Individual training is set to resume this week after an agreement was reached between la Liga and relevant Sport and Health authorities concerning the safety of all parties involved.

Bundesliga club Fc Cologne has announced that three of their players tested positive for coronavirus.

The German Bundesliga had hoped to resume May 9, but Cologne’s announcement on Friday has dented the chances of it’s returning to action anytime soon.

The Bundesliga top-flight team are placed 10th on the table with 32 points after 10 rounds of matches left to be played.

Fc Cologne confirmed that test was carried out on all players, coaches, and backroom staff, however, three players tested positive, showing no signs of symptoms and have gone into a compulsory 14-days quarantine at home.

Romelu Lukaku has apologised for a statement made about Inter Milan first team players having suffered symptoms of coronavirus in January.
“Everyone was coughing and had a fever. When I was warming up, I felt a lot hotter than usual.

In an instagram live video with Belgian television VIER, Lukaku claimed that many of the first team players returned after the December break with what looked like Symptoms of the Virus.

The statement from Lukaku read “We had a week off in December, we returned to work and I swear that 23 out of 25 players were ill. I am not kidding.
The 26-year-old had revealed that a teammate was substituted after showing signs of the COVID-19 in their match against Cagliari and how he was worried afterward.


“We played against Radja Nainggolan’s Cagliari (on January 26) and after about 25 minutes, one of our defenders had to leave the pitch. He could not continue and almost fainted.

“Everyone was coughing and had a fever. When I was warming up, I felt a lot hotter than usual. I hadn’t suffered from a fever in years. he added.

“After the game, there was a planned dinner with guests, but I thanked them and went straight to bed. We never did the COVID-19 tests at that moment, so we’ll never know for sure.”

The Belgium International has since apologised and has been disciplined by Inter, who are shocked by his actions.

Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman is facing a €50,000 euro fine and a mandatory autograph session for driving the wrong car to training, German news daily Bild reported on Friday.

French International Coman, 23, arrived in McLaren at Bavaria’s Tuesday training session, which contravened an obligation to drive an Audi, a major sponsor of Bavaria.

The internal rules in Bayern state that players should drive Audi cars or other brands in the Volkswagen group or be fined up to EUR 50,000.according to Bild.

While speaking to the tabloid on Friday Coman apologised on for the flaw and said that he couldn’t drive his Audi because of a broken wing mirror.
“I would like to apologise to the club and Audi for not driving my company car to train… it was a mistake, I see that” he told Bild.

He further added that to make up for it, he would visit employees at the Audi factory in nearby Ingolstadt for an autograph session as soon as coronavirus restrictions had been lifted.

The Automobile manufacturer(Audi)owns 8.33 percent of Bayern shares and recently signed a new sponsorship deal with the club until 2029, reportedly worth around 800 million euros.

When Rugani tested positive for COVID-19, last month he was part of the first wave of high-profile confirmations for series A.

The second Juve’s case was Matuidi, though neither player had symptoms.
