Oboto700: Oh really? What an interesting diagnosis, even without seeing the patient? Wow, what a genius. 👏 🙃 Now, if you want to be logical, and not blinded by patriotism. Go and watch their highlights against Nigeria with a clear unbiased mind. The only match the Ivorians faltered was against Equatorial Guinea, every other match, they relentlessly played their hearts out, and only failed to get results against Nigeria in those instances. I laugh, basing your opinion about them because they qualified as the fourth-best third-place team? Yet they beat Senegal, the defending champs, and Mali (both group toppers) on their way to the finals. Playing against a host nation whose head to head record against Nigeria reads... Nigeria 9 - Draws 10 - Ivory Coast 9....After all these you still think they are a walkover? Then I wonder who truly needs a Psychiatrist. We all want Nigeria to win, but that doesn't mean one shouldn't be open minded, that's the best way to avoid heart attacks. |

Truth be told, apart from playing their hearts out, the team need elements of luck to triumph over the Ivorians. Considering how the group match went, I would say this is a 50/50 encounter, it can go either way. |

lexy2014: I am talking from the legal view of point, if you don't you don't get it then rest. No one is willing to waste their time taking a case they can't win to court. It is not a must you understand or agree with me. Again sentiments and hearsay does not win court cases. |
Crime / Re: Ogun: Court Arraigns Ladi Adebutu, Others Over Money Laundering by humberjade: 9:00am On Feb 07 |
walexbiz: Again, an inexperienced lawyer would win this case without stress, even the judge might just dimisss the case. Court cases are not determined based on sentiments or gut's feeling. 1. Bullion vans are not only used to convey cash, they are also used to move valuables. 2. Was there a pictorial evidence showing the content of the vans? 3. Private companies also use bullion vans. These and other arguments would make a clean judge throw the case out through the window. 1 Like |

lexy2014: You need concrete evidence to nail anyone, that's why despite all the allegations leveled against Donald Trump the courts are yet to find a concrete evidence to nail him yet, they are circumstantial at best. We all know the biases that exist in our prosecution of corrupt persons, but we must also not lose focus of the fact that it takes concrete evidence to persecute anyone, not a matter of hearsay, or personal opinions. |

Xscape1993: All of them are guilty of the same offense, but this man did his blatantly, leaving behind every trace to him, but others do it through proxies. In a sane country where the judiciary works well, there is no way anyone is escaping a lengthy jail sentence for that crime. And sadly, you know in Nigeria, being in power makes you immune to a lot of crimes. |

Wise man, he didn't allow his anger get the better of him. He didn't go physical with the wife, neither did he exchange words with the concubine. His mind seems made up. If I as a man is staying faithful in a relationship, and the woman decides no be a free WiFi, I had better not catch her red-handed, if I do, no mortal can make her remain in my life. 5 Likes |

garfield1: Why was Olakunle Oluomo impeached? I am currently not in Nigeria, so I don't know what is playing out. Did he go against Dapo? No o, Osoba's deputy was Gbenga Kaka from Ijebu Igbo. Again, it will be a big gamble to test the waters that way. Well, let's wait and see sha, the political climate in 2026 will dictate each actor's decision and direction. Leaving the entire East to Adebutu will be too dangerous. Of the about 530 votes of last election, over 200k came from Ogun East alone, imagine a candidate having a bloc vote from there. Well, permutations will be done by the actors. |

garfield1: The Senate, maybe, but he can't deputise Yayi. A Yewa/Egba ticket is bound to fail, you can't sideline the district with 11 LGAs against 9 and expect a smooth sail. And you and I know that Ogun East is never short of bright candidates every election season. |

Sports / Re: Equatorial Guinea Vs Cote D'ivoire: AFCON 2023 (4 - 0) On 22nd January 2024 by humberjade: 6:28am On Jan 23 |
ruggedtimi: After the group stage, 12 teams proceed automatically to the knockout round, while four best 3rd placed teams follows. Now, take a look at groups C and D, those two will definitely produce 2 3rd bests. Now, for Ivory Coast to qualify, they need serious permutations, which are; 1. Tunisia drawing or losing to SA 2. Zambia losing to Morocco It is totally out of thier hands bro. And it would have been almost impossible had Ghana held on till the last minute. |
