yarimo:Okay then. Apart from his recent actions, which I really love, I don't know much about him. |
yarimo:Are you in tune with the steps he's taking to tackle banditry heads on? |
yarimo:Because he's against terrorism or because he's pro-Tinubu? |
I knew Trump was going to embarrass himself, again. Very anyhow POTUS 😂 The same thing he did when Chelsea won the Club World Cup. |

So Trump will be presenting the World Cup trophy to Spain—a country he seems to hold in such disdain. The irony is hard to miss. ![]() Well deserved victory to Spain! Merino, Raya, and Zubimendi...congrats boysss!!!! Thank God for football, Enzo Fernandes for be one cruel street thug. Very aggressive and mean player. |

These people are animals. What I witnessed the other day was horrifying. On a packed underground train, I saw a man slip his hand under the short skirt of a young white woman. It happened so quickly that I barely had time to react. The first time, she adjusted her skirt, probably thinking it was accidental. Then he smelled his fingers, licked them, and deliberately did it again as the train reached the next stop. The lady jumped away and looked around, trying to figure out who had touched her. She looked shocked and on the verge of tears, as if she was struggling to process what had just happened. I wanted to intervene, but I also feared for my own safety. Some of his like move around with sharp objects, and would resort to violence without hesitation. |
Political realignment |
Nword22:Biden, it still doesn't change the fact that the Lagos you so much despise is home to hundreds of thousands of Abians. |
Nword22:Barren land wey your people wan die on top, barren land wey your people dey relocate to in droves. While at it, you can also relocate all your businesses and houses back home too. |
Na wa o. Even this one wey suppose dey rot for Kuje Prison dey talk. No be your fault, nah weak institutions cause am. |
Kobojunkie:You can rest assured that there will be intense discrimination going forward. As the saying goes, "The wicked flee when no one pursues." The Orange Man is using every rumor, true or false, to drive his agenda and justify policies that many fear will unfairly target some groups. Time will tell, but history has shown that fear is often the easiest tool for advancing a political agenda. |
franvincoop:This is what should scare people. I don't think he is planning to leave that seat anytime soon. At least, he will try not to. Whether it will be successful or not remains to be seen. |
Banbanna:Abi. No today him don dey do am. He's done it for the gunners multiple times. Doesn't seem to do much, but very smart around the 18 yard...difficult to track down. 😅 |
Building higher fences around the White House may improve security, but it also projects a troubling image. Even presidents who faced the threat of Al-Qaeda didn't appear this removed from the people they served. |
Mikel Merino, the Super sub. Fine boy with deft goals 🔥🔥🔥 |
While i am not against accountabilty, I think those we should be asking questions are governors (who doubles as chairs of LGa Chairmen) who now get double and in some cases triple the federal allocation they use to get. Do they think the money being used for all these massive road projects fell from the sky? |
Who is still trusting what comes of Donald's mouth. After all these, Iran go still go all out to cause some real damage to US' allies in the region. How many times has Trump claimed something that the Iranians debunked instantly? How many times has he claimed to have obliterated their military, yet, they keep causing significant damage to their targets anytime they choose to strike? |
I am waiting for when he will pull the Donald Trump stunt of attempted.... Loading... |
Egypt takes the lead 0-1 Let's go Egypt! |
The shamelessness of these Nigerian politicians, ehn. The way they keep running to Western countries over issues like this is appalling, to say the least. Imagine calling on the very corrupt Donald Trump administration to help investigate corruption in your own country. If our institutions worked as they should, we wouldn't need to outsource accountability in the first place. People often say Nigeria needs strong institutions—and we do. But who will build them? More importantly, who will lead them with integrity? An elderly man I know often says, "Everybody is a thief when no one is looking." Whether he's right or not is debatable, but it raises an uncomfortable question: is corruption only a leadership problem, or is it also a societal one? Too many ordinary Nigerians condemn corruption until they're the ones with an opportunity to cut corners, offer or collect a bribe, or use connections to get ahead. Strong institutions matter, but they can only be as strong as the people who build, lead, and support them. Perhaps Nigeria should also take a page from China's playbook when it comes to making corruption a truly high-risk crime. Swift investigations, independent prosecutions, meaningful asset recovery, and penalties that are certain and severe for those found guilty would serve as a powerful deterrent. Corruption should never be a low-risk, high-reward enterprise. Until both our leaders and citizens embrace accountability, Nigeria will continue to struggle to become the country it has the potential to be. |
It depends on who you end up with. Some people would come into your life and turn it upside down, intentionally or otherwise. Some just come with this blessing and aura, once you sleep with them e go be like sey nah juju you run, while some will make you see paper on the ground and call it money. Just pray make you no carry another man bones. |
ibtommy:They got complacent towards the end of the match...were selfish with and lavished the chances they had on the counter. They were even laughing and smiling after missed chances moments before Belgium began their comeback. We sometimes are too quick to rest on our laurels as a people...small success, we don relax. |
Rubbish. Except he chooses to use nuclear weapons, the US is still not capable of defeating Iran. How many wars has the US won without chemical bombs? It's is all noise and threats. It is easy for a draft dogder to send other people's kids into the jaws of Lions. Like I mentioned when the kangaroo deal was announced...any deal that Israel isn't part of is a joke. That Israel will do anything to trigger Iran. |
At least they will get back home in time to take back their "jobs". ![]() |
OP, what is Deola Fayehun's photo doing there? |
Lukuluku69:It was not even as bad as this when i bailed from SA 15 years ago. For some of us, we believe we can relaunch ourselves no matter what life throws at us, but for some, they are barely hanging on. Some swam through crocodile infested rivers to enter SA. So you do the maths. |
Lukuluku69:Exactly. But for those who have absolutely nothing to go back to. Some would rather die than return home. Some were even born there. |
The question we should be asking is that, why was a former Nigerian Minister tried in the UK when the crimes she's being accused for were against the Nigerian people, and committed in Nigeria? And just like Mele Kyari, people like this should stop getting slap on the wrist. That's why corruption will never wane in Nigeria. How I love China for this... 99.9% of Nigeria's political class would be gone by now. We've normalised so many crazy things in that country. |
Ripped to shread the deal made by Obama, only to end up with a much worse deal, with so many lives lost, military bases gone, and the aging Ayatollah killed and replaced by his son who is far more brutal. And now, Iran knows how to get the world's attention, Strait of Hormus. Trump, you did great! ![]() But I see this new deal crumbling...any deal without Israel is a ticking bomb. Knowing Netayahu, even if Hezbollah and Iran doesn't provoke Israel, Israel will look for ways to heat things up. 😅 |
There is fire on the mountain....🎶 🎵 |
