So tell me, how many white journalists were in that room? 98% per cent of those in that room were Nigerians and Africans in the diaspora...apart from the anchor, even the other whites work for media houses in Africa/Nigeria.

If you think anyone of them has the balls to relegate the so called "foreign interest", it must be a high level delusion

But for now, he has nothing to lose. So many abracadabra has happened in the past that led to the ouster of Governors after swearing in, so guy man is just trying his luck.
Adeleke has some faint shadow over his acad qualifications and election, and nobody would just let those slide (not even you or I would), expecially if you think things could swing back in your favour no matter the odd. Anything is possible through Nigerian courts, you know.

I get the frustration, and I know where she's coming from.
Although life abroad, at least developed abroad , is far better than Nigeria's, in terms of social amenities and availability of jobs, but when you begin to do plus and minus, you hardly have anything left. Most developed countries aren't built for you to save at all, you earn, the system collects it back.
Okay let's do a quick calculation, let's say you have a 2500 euro job. By the time tax and insurance are deducted, maybe you will have 2000 or less left, depending on the tax level you are. You pay bills, say 400-700 euro. Service your credit with let's say 200 euro per month. About 1100euro is left. So let's say you spend 250 euro on food, send 200 euro to your parents, and let's say you budget 300 euro for two kids. Let's say you spend 100 on miscellaneous, and you discover you have just 250 euro left. God forbid there is an emergency back home, or God blessed you with 3 or more siblings. And then you still have friends who are in need too back home for naija. Phew, nah die you dey.
Shey you can see that the money is finished without even buying cloths for yourself or flexing. And even for you to make the 2500 for example, depending on the kinda work though, you go don work your bones off; 10-15 hours on the jobs, 3-5 hours(depending on the no of jobs) navigating your way from home-one job- 2nd job-back home. On top of it, less than 5hours of sleep each day. All these are even worse during winter.
Imagine all the scenarios up there playing out every month, which is the case mostly, when exactly will the person be able to invest and secure his or her own future.? Imagine things going sideways, and the person gets deported, same set of people will desert her and even mock her, saying, "as she go, nah him she come back". Men are even built to withstand stress than ladies, hence, some get to do up to 4 jobs, but ladies, hmm.
On top of that, if you give person 10k or 20k for naija, e go still dey vex, dey downgrade the money. So for those who are saying chop alone and die alone, it is not all bed of roses out here.
If you no do am with sense, you go see say 10-20 years after you don dey hustle for abroad, you can hardly account for your labour, and your life still remains the same as when you relocated. That's why people just slump and die anyhow out here; stress and pressure.
Nah the emotional blackmail come worse pass...imagine a naturally kind person, chai, it is finished.

What kinda childish talk is this?
If you accusing Tinubu of having children with 4 different women, what about your boss, Atiku? How many wives is he married to again?
I don't know when polygamy became a political issue in Nigeria. Dino just doesn't fit the office he's holding on this Atiku's team.

Celebrities / Re: Damilola Adegbite Robbed In London by humberjade: 6:25pm On Dec 01
I don't know why some people are surprised by this news, afterall, crime has no colour, it is a global thing, just that some places are more notorious for it than the others. And in every country, no matter how safe it looks, there are dangerous spots you don't ever wanna lose guard.
And again, for some time now, London has been notorious for some serious high level social vices that even the government doesn't have answer to. No be the same England a whole Anthony Joshua's customised Range Rover was stolen over night, and till date, no one has an answer?
UK, and most, if not the entire Europe are economically in bad shapes right now; unemployment rate is on a high. Basically due to CV19 and the Ukraine/Russia crisis. For example, the country with the biggest economy in Europe, Germany, has over 2 million unemployed people.

Despite the popular notion in Lagos, Sanwo Olu is not taking things for granted at all...I have never seen APC campaign this vigorously in Lagos. They know that the number of determined Igbos has grown exponentially in main land Lagos, hence, this riverine colourful campaign. Wise guy, he's not leaving anything to chance.
My personal opinion though.

The damage done is irreversible at this juncture. I mean, how can anyone of the G5 Governors trust Atiku after all the 360 U-turns he has done for the past 5 years or there about?
And how can anybody from the Atiku side trust Wike not the rock the boat from the inside? Atiku is not trustworthy, and Wike is too difficult a person to keep close.
Don't get me wrong, they could still find ways to work together to get victorious for their party at the State and Federal levels respectively, but we all know they will all part ways after the election, win or lose.
Trust has been broken, ego bruised, and too many cats let out of the bag.

Take away the garbage around Bola Tinubu, he is way better than Atiku. While I can't predict what comes with a Tinubu government, I know for sure what will come with an Atiku government. Herders' killings will multiply and corruption will hit an unprecedented scale.
While I have my many reservations about Obi, I prefer him to Atiku.

I can see you are well schooled on World history and International Relations to be specific, kudos. Although I have few reservations about few of your points, I agree totally with most.
Now to my argument, guys like Putin and Kim Jong-un are power drunk leaders whose level of arrogance and ego are unrivalled. These two guys won't just back out of any war because of the threat of the West, their ego and arrogance won't allow them, even in the glaring face of embarrassing defeat. But the dangerous thing about people like these is that, rather than lose face, they go all out and risk it all. And when they take such steps, they surely will be defeated, but the damage they would have caused might take decades to fix or even irredeemable.
For a country that possesses about 1600 ready to launch nuclear warheads, my brother, you can't call the bluff of the trigger man. God forbid, imagine one hitting a city like Berlin (where I live), not only will it destroy lives and properties, water and land will remain poisoned for years. Hence, you need to massage the ego of these blood suckers once in a while, by using the carrot and stick approach. Just how one tames a madman.
At some point in the nearest future, major players must seat at a round table and dialogue things out, because if left to linger longer than necessary, it might reach a point of no return.
I hope you get my point now...got to return to work now.

Foreign Affairs / Re: U.S. Weighs Sending 100-Mile Strike Weapon To Ukraine - Reuters by humberjade: 3:11pm On Nov 28
While it was obvious to all Ukraine's intent to join and NATO's intent to admit despite Russia's resistance, Cuban Missile Crisis was unknown to only to Cuba and USSR until the Missiles had been positioned.
So what's the essence of joining NATO if a military base won't be erected? Go through the NATO rules of engagement and see if it is possible. NATO organises regular military exercises among its members from time to time.
The Ukrainian President should have known better than allowing the US turn his homeland to a battleground. He should have applied some wisdom in handling the situation. He didn't want to have a direct dialogue with Putin, instead, they were engaging in indirect dialogues with weak state actors.
Foreign Affairs / Re: U.S. Weighs Sending 100-Mile Strike Weapon To Ukraine - Reuters by humberjade: 2:53pm On Nov 28
For starters, Ukraine was once a part of the big USSR, and a large portion of a district in Ukraine is occupied by Russians, while those North American countries you mentioned never were a part of the US. However, that's not enough reason to justify the invasion.
While I agree with you on the fact that "what is wrong is wrong", but we need to revisit the initial, and exact cause of this invasion. What is happening in Ukraine is an indirect war between the West and the Russian corner, they are just using Ukraine as a battlefield, and Russia directly involved while the US and her allies provide logistics.
Putin's main reason for invading Ukraine was because of the latter's strong intent to join NATO, a move that would have birthed the placement of a NATO military base in Ukraine, a direct neighbour to Russia. With the likes of Estonia, Lithuania and Poland already fallen to NATO, Russia couldn't afford being surrounded by its arch-enemies.
Take a peep into the 1963 Cuban Missile Crisis, after which I hope you would understand what led to the invasion, and why pacification is the way to go at this point. It took the maturity and apt leadership skill of then USSR and US leaders to avert what could have led to WW III.

As if the US is any better, the Americans are the most devious people on earth, left to me, they indirectly or directly bore almost all the misfortunes bedevilling the world today. For example, the Americans trained, armed, and used Osama until he became useless to them, once he turned, he became a terrorist with a bounty on his head. How many sovereign States has the US attacked? How many buoyant countries have they turned to carcasses?
I am no fan of Putin, he is some crazy man who is not ready to back down, least he loses face. Millions of Ukrainians have been forced out their homeland, and infrastructure hugely destroyed, this destruction will take decades to recover from. There are times you use stick, there are times you use carrot, but now is the time you use both. NATO countries are now directly arming Ukraine, God safe us all if Putin wakes up on the wrong side of the bed someday, all frustrated and ready to risk it all. Ordinary the Ukrainian War is having huge effect on the world's economy, imagine what a burning Europe would do to countries like Nigeria who imports everything
