Brrruuh, whilst im not trying to justify what he did, i was in the same situation in 2013 jus before my finals and before christmas. Trust me, it hurts like hell, mine even left for a premier league player. The feeling is worst than anything you can imagine, the feeling can be compared to walking down a street naked with people booin n throwing banana peels at you, you feel extreme shame, humiliation and worthlessness the thought alone that the only reason she left was cos that guy had loads of quid will shatter your ego for a very long time. So whilst im not justifying what he did, you lot shouldnt be quick to condemn him. Plus 8 years is not beans.
Pele bros, you've said it all.

she waited for d guy for eight solid years. what was d guy waiting for all these while? what if d guy later dumped her after d 8years? for me , she made d right decision. no need to wait for unserious guys. drivers, conductors and barrow pushers are getting married daily so there was no need to wait for 8years if he was really serious.
lol don't be insensitive, they were preparing for their wedding, and it looks like the lady was a material kinda sis. They might have agreed to wait until both their pockets were heavy, nobody wants to get married with pockets full of holes, not in this day and age.

According to sources, the bride’s mother, who
was a teacher before she was allegedly shot
dead, had been told by one of her friends that
one of her cousins from United Kingdom was in
need of a wife to marry. That was why she lured
her daughter into the ill-fated marriage.

But seriously this is greediness and uncalled for from the mother.
May be na toilet the said UK guy de wash for that place ooo. But all in d name of he came from London she lured her daughter into this regrettable tragedy. Hope other mothers wud learn from this. May their soul rest in perfect peace. I pity d family of d UK guy

As for that Teddy guy, am sure he has been hurt and feel cheated on but I don't think what he did justify d situation. Now he would enjoy most of his life in kirikiri maximum prison.
Mewa nsele ooo.
Things DE happen
Things your people do, I thought they only happen in Nollywood, but I was wrong. The word "overseas" drives people nuts for naija.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Will Nigeria Welcome UN Troops on Its Soil To Fight Boko Haram? by HumbledbYGrace(mod): 10:07pm On Feb 02, 2015
Why wouldn't they? Is it even a matter of choice or we just have to do what needs to be done in order to restore peace in the land? They've lost so much already, what we need to know is what the UN is bringing that's different from what Nigerian Army does not have?

We just need to keep trying if UN fail then we'll all disagree to agree that its the powers that be that's in control of all this.

Nigeria said it will cope.

And now Bk has crossed boarders and declared war, AU had to step in, else BK would wipe us all out, we ain't ready a muslim coup!

I wonder why with all the advanced technology and weapons you have failed to defeat Bk

Stuff46 may I please have dee's number?

And guys please calm down, we are working on this thing. Last night I had a chat with the guy who stole Candy's work his excuse and very genuine was that he got it from a friend's page on facebook.

The other valid point he raised was that if your going to post on the web you have to have it copyrighted because that's actually what the law will tell you. Even in the court of law you have to present that as an evidence.

So in support of Ishilove's post, we'll offer our support where we can but you also have to play your part.

Regards...

Being bad comes from the heart not from those tickable boxes we so enjoy ticking and when we get zero right we fume and end up hurting those people who care about us

Rilwayne001:
Okay...Good

The verse is clear enough, tilth or field is used in that verse to create an analogy in form of proverb i.e. a farmer goes to his field cultivate it and plant a seed in expectation of farm produce as harvest, this illustration is true message the Quran is passing to us here. A man goes to his field (i.e A woman) cultivate it (have intercourse with her) plant his seed (eject semen into her) while the man expect to harvest (i.e. offspring). That is why Mohsin Khan in his translation made it clear in bracket:

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 223:
Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth when or how you will, and send (good deeds, or ask Allah to bestow upon you pious offspring) before you for your ownselves. And fear Allah, and know that you are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), land give good tidings to the believers (O Muhammad SAW).
(English - Mohsin Khan)

Now my kind sire...Do you agree with my explanation above that the Quran is right to call women our field/tilth?

Do you agree with the xtians who said the verse refer women as sex object?

The problem with our people most especially our xtian brethrens is that they read articles concorted by some ignoramous to tarnish the image of islam. You can't understand the history of the United state by making enquiry from a chinese man, the chinese man will always mix things up for you while you can always get the full picture from the US citizen.

Trust you comprehend my points.
"CHRISTIAN CHATBOX" Let's respect that.

Thanks

@Dj I love you, your situation makes me cry whenever you post something here, we've all been tried in this case and succumbed to the pressure but it was all because we thought we were doing what's best for you in our own little ways. Being part of your case in ghost mode taught me a lot and believe you me, we all pray for you always, and love you so much.

@ op, Thanks Ma for this initiative but I just have few questions based on praying and fasting as I wouldn't want us coming back here saying that we were not answered when we prayed.

This is a matter of getting results from God and I know none of us is expecting something negative.

Does Dj believe wholeheartedly that he can be healed?

He's here, we are here and as we will all be declaring God's promises upon his life I'd really like him to agree and believe that God's word which is his will will change this situation.

Whatever treatment he takes at the end of the day, he should have faith in God and his word coupled with fellowshipping with the Holy Ghost. As we pray for the healing of the body, the soul shouldn't be forgotten.

That said, I am in.
