spacefreak: My stories do not depict the way I live, at least mostly. I borrow certain aspects of my life and add to it to create a character. I don't drive a BMW, I'm not 28 but I am a lab scientist. There's something called an artist's code, in everything a writer writes about. They are stories stored in our memory waiting to be shared. There's always something that ticks us all and force us to write. As for me, I just read between the lines, so your not off the hook mr spacefreak! Let's see, you would like to drive a bmw soon right? |

Illogical and preposterous article. Sorry to say, it never proved anything but beating around the bush.
It was made by assumptions i.e if embryos could reason and talk, and badly, it can't--which makes your assertion useless and uncerntian. ....and, human does all that. By the way, is it applied to non-twins, triplet, quadruples? What about ones that die in the womb - miscarriage; does it mean the scenario would play like that too?
It could have been easier to believe that "myraids of crap" up there, had it been God provides food on a platter of Gold like umbilical cord of a woman does, without us stressing afar to get a food.
Zygote isn't formed by a female alone - it's the fusion of male & female gamete and using that scenario to prove anything is akin to saying there are many gods that created us.
Last but not the least, there is no confusion in the womb, as they have only one mother unlike this world where there's Yahweh, Allah, Buddah, Olodumare, Sango, Amadioha etc, all claiming to be right....
You religious theists, would never learn how to prove the existence of your God without using deist "Modus operandi" --only deists can use the article, without condracting himself/herself.
I am a proud DEIST Please take your education to the right section. Education section is <----that way! |

This used to be, once upon a time in 2012. When we were young, Jesus Freaks and carefree.
When Dagr8 was my bebfl. When Muskeeto used to make me so angry alongside logicboy. When Ujsizzle was much younger. When we all still lived in dream land, then reality crept through closed doors and we drifted apart. When ATMC was just fun Ishilove still young at heart Superbloke stealing ladies hearts since 100 BC When toba was officially single and searching, my trusted mog When there was Bella and guitarlife An0nimus was still playing "thousand years" on his guitar before they snatched it. There was Yetseyi and OmoDaddy, cool chicks. Salc and Francistony, my lovely funny pair. We used to play a lot here, but now all we talk about is money, kids, wives, husbands, marriage and politics.

dagr8: This is lovely
Two babies were in a mother’s womb. One asked the other: “Do you think there's life after delivery?”
The other answered, “Why, yes, of course. There has got to be something after delivery. Perhaps we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”
“Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”
The second replied, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t comprehend right now.”
The first snorted, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”
The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”
The first replied, “That's silly. If there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”
“Well, I don’t know,” answered the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”
The first laughed “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s moronic. If Mother exists then where is She now?”
The second replied, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her our world would not and could not exist.”
Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”
To which the second responded, “Sometimes, when it's quiet and I focus and really listen, I can perceive Her presence, and I can hear Her loving voice singing over us from above.”

Family › Re: 5 Simple Things That Can Change Your Relationship by HumbledbYGrace(f): 6:58pm On Feb 08, 2015 |
Bamibor: The world around us today is full of people who have failed to find satisfaction in their relationships. Marriages are crumbling daily for simple and avoidable reasons. I believe we can all have beautiful relationships, that can weather the storms and blossom against all odds. Here are 5 simple things you can do to improve your relationship:
1. Good Communication: Yes, I know you've heard this many times but I am also sure by now you have understood that hearing/knowing is not quite thesame as doing. One key in every successful relationship is for both parties to talk, about everything. There really are no limits to what you can and should talk to your partner about, especially in marriage.
2. Learn how to use the Magic Words
Many words that we often take for granted could greatly help to improve a lot of relationships. Words thank you, Sorry, please, I love you etc., may look simple but they are very powerful tools. Many prople, perhaps due to their upbringing or mere ego, find it really hard to say these words and that has ended up hurting many relationship. And to add too, you can never do too much of affirming your love for your partner. If we are to forgive seventy times seven times in a day, I guess it wouldn't be out of place to affirm your love those number of times too *winks*
3. Forgive and Grow
First of all, to mantain a healthy relationship, you must have a heart that readily forgives. We are all humans, aiming for perfection (and none of us is there yet by the way), so the unavoidable tendency to offend is there. Added to this too, is the fact that both of you came from different backgrounds and will see several things differently, so you must be willing to forgive faults and overlook presumed imperfections. Secondly, while each partner expects to be forgiven, when he/she offends, each must also continue to grow. You don't expect your partner to keep forgiving and overlooking thesame flaws repeatedly for years without any effort towards a positive change, coming from you.
4. Learn Your partner's Love Language and speak it.
This one is about the most important of them all and a lack of proper understanding in this regard has cost many relationshionships dearly.
There are five major love languages spoken by every human and people respond depending on which category (or combination of categories) they fall. We have:
a.)Gifts b.)Quality time c.) Acts of service d.) Words of Affirmation e.) Physical Touch (not necessarily sexual)
For the purpose of this post, I cannot go into details about each of the love languages but suffice it to know that the key is not to communicate in the language you prefer, but to find out your partner's and exptess it to him/her. People respond better when you express love to them in thrir own unique language and a person can respond to a combination of these five languages. 5. Be Yourself.
This one does not need too much sermonizing. Jst don't try to tirn your relationship into an African Magic episode or a holly wood movie. Don't paint a picture that is not real because soon enough, tge ink will fade and the real image will ve laid bare. Just be you and allow your partner love you for your unique attributes.
*N/B: Recommended for Reading: Five love Languages by Gary Chapman (infact you should own one) I wish you blossoming and fruitful relationships...you can add your for us to learn from I like |

Chinweblinkz: Nice one though it was brief, i think you can broaden it and make it into a novel. You write very well, your descriptive and narrative style was superb. But... At least you should have mentioned what type of car Chiamaka drove. And then a little about what she does to earn a living, you mentioned something about her been more financially balanced than you,i was expecting you say what she really does. Conclusively, you acted quite rational. If am a male and an ex tells me we have a baby,i would experience _shock_doubt and i would love to see pictures of the baby before anything.
~my points may not be relevant, but as the saying goes 'each person is a king of his thoughts. Thats mine. Thumbs up! More ink to your pen That's it! |

Indecent, but I've never bothered myself with that.
Just that a modest mother should prepare a bottle for her child if she knows there won't be a place "private" for her to br.eastfeed. Especially with the male folks around, they are males and shouldn't be put in awkward situations with things that could easily be avoided. |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: goodluck went on to invite them. what did they do. maybe we should rephrase the statement to 'we cant get their help. lets look elsewhere'. that we've done and the chadians are helping out. Ok but my argument is US knows a lot about Boko Haram. Why all the statistics? What do they want to archive? In my opinion UN shouldn't have brought only west african countries in, Boko Haram is not a group of boys, they are rebels and only God knows what it takes to wipe them out. We really don't want a repeat of the Rwandan Genocide with the world watching folding hands. And I don't blame Jonathan for asking for help, he tried and failed, we just glad he realized that he failed his fellow men and Africa as a whole. Let him rectify his mistakes, nobody is perfect. |

Reference: We don't need their help. They are not our friends. They should go and 'help' Iraq and Syria. This "we don't need help attitude" has taken so many lives, now Nigerian President looked like a silly selfish man to the World with that attitude, glad UN intervened. |
