Do not take it personal...just air your opinion and move on...both players should BE TESTED AT U21 OR 23 LEVEL...the super eagle is not a place to cap a player of their level and quality...Look at Bonaventure...from u23 now to SE....had it been that both are exceptional....They would have been in Three Lions... Even Eze s invitation was by England u21 oooo.... not Three Lions

the 3lions squad is miles ahead of the super eagles....
a team like the 3lion's will not feature players like etebo, balogun, collins, Aina etc...

for now those guys are playing better and doing well than some midfielders we parade...in the super eagles...

they're of better quality

I wonder how you guys think this thing's are easy...... the best way to get players of this kind is at a time like this...watch them enter the EPL and see the FA quickly rush to keep them for the 3Lions. ..
England is trying to learn from the French and German national team set up now....sometimes you need good players of Africa origin around your national team to cut it out....in major tournaments.

Former Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has appealed to both world football governing body FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) over a life ban for bribery, while denying any wrongdoing.

Last month, FIFA banned Siasia, 52, from all football-related activities after an extensive investigation into matches that Wilson Raj Perumal attempted to manipulate for betting purposes showed he breached Article 11 (Bribery) of the 2009 edition of the FIFA code of ethics.

He told reporters at a press briefing held at the Media Center of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium that his lawyers filed the appeal to FIFA on August 27, 2019, while the other appeal was sent to the Court of Arbitration for Sports on August 29, 2019.

Siasia denied that he breached any ethics of football.

“I wish to state that I have never been and would never be a party to any form of unethical conduct or perversion in the discharge of my duties in any capacity,” he said.

“I built my career in the football industry on the foundation of hard work, integrity, consistency and God.

“In all my career, I have done nothing, but serve my country clubs to the best of my personal and professional ability, with all my strength and might, with discipline, pride and passion and an awareness that it is a privilege to be an ambassador of our great nation.

“It is my greatest hope and belief that my country also stands by and with me at a time like this.”



He added: “The entire proceedings and decision was only brought to my notice on August 16, 2019, when the news broke in the public domain and friends and family started to call.

“I was totally unaware of the proceedings until I heard about FIFA’s decision.

“While I may not be able to publicly divulge the details and specifics, I think it fit to inform you that I have appealed against FIFA’s decision and you all will probably hear the results like you heard about the ban.

“I am currently taking legal advice. My lawyer Mr Austin Otah has been liaising with the NFF and their counsel.”

The former Nigeria coach admitted it has been a most difficult time for him.

“I must state that this is the most trying period of my life,” he said.

“I am still dealing with the pain and challenges of my mother being kidnapped again and fighting to secure her release.

“I urge the nation to support me with prayers, goodwill and support of all kinds. The demands are very heavy.”

His lawyer, Austin Otah, confirmed submissions of the appeals to both FIFA and CAS.

“We have actually assisted Mr Samson Siasia to file his appeal and we are awaiting FIFA to acknowledge the receipt of the appeal. We are awaiting feedback from FIFA and CAS,” he said.

“The decision of FIFA requires Mr Siasia to appeal to the CAS. We are exploring an internal appeal mechanism, exceptionally with the Appeal Committee of FIFA.

“But that notwithstanding we are still to ensure that his appeal rights are not impeded in anyway.”

He is still deny it....
he should better say the truth...if he is a match fixer or not.

indigenous coaches are just too corrupt to b trusted....

he has done well.... He has helped rebrand the super eagles and that is a plus...

he is more transparent and more fair in players selection unlike the indigenous coaches who only invite players willing to grease their palms...little wonder they keep hovering over the national team job not because of anything else but for kick backs and bribe that comes with the job role.....

Thank God for the first time, someone is not pinning it all on Rohr. because for crying out loud, this guy has done his best in terms of this aspect I inviting our best foreign born. He can't see everything and that is where the assistants should become in, and even the NFF Technical committee.
Those are all useless and they are only after where the next bribe will come from

watch how some will come engage me for always looking for ways to talk down indigenous coaches....

the truth is many working in our football management set up are there for kick backs and bribes....

many of indigenous coaches have corruption tags on them which I will likened to be fact....

who would have thought that Siasia and salisu yusuf... are cool bribe takers the former even fix matches....

just imagine...the set of coaches we're grooming even the referees are no where near Benin Rep referees...

It is not by belief.. You can not keep ignoring a player and expect him to play for you.

Right now, Ebere is not tied so he does not need a switch.

Once he plays for the England under 21s, we have complicated the matter and he will need a switch.

and I think this switch cost some few dollars....?

Coming to the issue of ignoring this lads until they hit stardom, I have made mention of that sometime ago stating that they should be snapped up and capped immediately they show promise but the issue is if the fans will welcome that.


Many in this thread will castigated such move with excuses that foreign born players gets preferential treatment just because they were born abroad. Also I believe Rohr doesn't want to rush in getting a rookie who is just cutting his teeth in professional football after half a season of decent performances.

Like i said earlier Eze will play for us in the future but on his on part he has to continue shunning out good performances for him to remain in the sight of our coaching crew and the football house

I said some Nigerians are swift to fume at some players invitee...and I said this from Charlesemeka words that.... many will lamblast him or any other coach for calling up an unproven player to come play for the super eagles....not knowing the idea behind the invitee stems from the plan to quickly cap him and thereafter send them to the under 23 to continue their rise...

I said those Nigerians are either against the national team progress or relative of the mediocre players that this foreign born lads would have taken their places...

I was taught back in school....during my study on conflicts and resolution; there is mono-causation to conflicts and violent rows...
there are always immediate and remote causes... and when apply to issues...likewise there are always multiple sides on why issues and scenarios play out...you read things from a broad/holistic angle..
you think on several possibilities even though one probably is the main reason for such actions....

Exactly my brother, the bolded is one of the reason why I will never speak ill of Rohr. If not for Rohr the likes of chukwueze and co won't be in the super eagles till now with the excuse that they re not ripe yet for the super eagles and should climb the ladder through the u23. The likes of Aminu Umar, Babatunde and other junks still be paraded as super eagles players.

Eze's involvement with the English u21 doesn't stop him from turning out for us in the future. Career wise it's a good move for him to boast his footballing CV and profile. Eze's heart is in playing for Nigeria and nothing will stop that. I pray he joins an epl team in the January transfer as rumored

and if he joins the epl team it will be more difficult getting him.....

you can swiftly get this guys prior they rise to stardom....

Ebere eze is one guy that I am very sure will play for the super eagles but he didn't do his case any good by playing for the England u20 of which I don't blame him for that because the pressure was much on him when he made it open he only wants to play for Nigeria.

The likes of ejaria, Eze and tomori will play for 9ja while Tammy's case seem dicey at the moment.

some Nigerians have some bit of jealousy in them....and they don't like make progress...
those are the ones that would have raise the dust had it been he was invited to the under 23 set up or probably the noisy Nigerians are related to some of the mediocre players that the lad presence would have shut up.

He will not get Bayern but a decent team should come on for him and he may be able to resurrect his career.

KC is not a physical player and the Bundesliga will suit him.more in my opinion and give him a better platform to showcase the talents we know he has and adapt them to the Bundesliga.

If he really wanted to move he would have requested a loan (at least) when the transfer window opened. Even if Leicester had denied him it would have been on record that he at least tried.
A player who is not seeing game time and is interested in his career will make an effort to get some game time. Stepping down to step up is better than remaining stagnant. Sometimes being too comfortable in your situation is a problem.
It's frustrating to see good potential go to waste, but potential is just that, potential. It's up to him to do something with it. We can cry, scream, defend, attack, advise, etc., but the only person who can fix this situation is Kelechi Iheanacho and right now it does not look like he is interested.

the problem with most Nigeria players especially the home groomed one's is that they're not ambitious....

all that concerns him is the pounds he earn weekly....

this guys don't have a career goal.... for themselves
