Except your parents are late, you cannot on your own fulfill marital rites. In your previous post, you sounded like you can and they cannot do anything. It's the parents that negotiate the process and without them, marriage won't be complete except they are no more then elders of the family can come in.

As a person, it's not all tribes i can marry from. I've always maintained this position from the onset and only shifted grounds previously. A lady or guy might be good, portray all the excellent qualities but in marriage, you don't only marry the individual but family, culture, tradition.

In every tribe, there are good and bad people and i am in no way disputing that. If the tribe is Okay by me, my parents won't go against it. Even if they show concerns because of their own experiences, i will only do everything within my capacity to make them see reasons to oblige but not to be autocratic about it.
you didn't read my post very well prior you even drew up your response earlier.

anyway I wish you good luck....

I wanna marry God's will for me.... I am tired of doing things my own way...and my Bible tells me that God sees no tribe, race or skin color but the hearts of men...

Christ made us one with God...i am open to any tribe provided we are compatible and she is God's will for me....thank God my mom knows this and my Dad never told me to forbid any tribe prior his dismiss but bluntly told me to make sure I marry a woman I know well and who is a Christian...

even refute tribal sentiments in martial decisions

Good to know that you clearly indicated that "your parents don't have such damn right" and wasn't referring to parents in general. Not all that claims to be parents are that in the real sense. Some, it's their children that controls them.

My own parents have a say because i cannot on my own go and marry a girl without their consent and it will be highly irresponsible of the parents of a girl to commence and complete marital rites if the parents of the Boy doesn't show up knowing that they are alive.

It's only if the reasons for rejection isn't justified, then i won't accept and even with that, i won't proceed without them but rather be diplomatic and continue to make them see reasons to accept.
Lol...where is your education and rational thinking.
if you parents could forbid you from marrying a lady all because of her tribe...

and relating it to one generalisation that' is not always true..because they're good and bad people in every tribe.

my parents can give me another reason but definitely not tribe.

I can't be a Christian if I still judge people on the basis of their tribe

You must have really been around the block with women.

Anyway, don't allow your experiences and bias ruin your children's lives. You could be chasing a good thing from them inadvertently, and when you're gone, they will be forced to suffer the consequences of your own bias.

Character is not dependent on tribe or state of origin solely.
yeah exactly..

family upbringing, environment and values makes up character the most....
man at birth was a clean slate...tabular raza. ..

an Edo guy that was born and brought up in enugu will definitely act and live different than one brought up in Benin....

likewise a child brought up in a strict moral set up may likely grow up and act differently from one brought up under weak parenting and others.....

sometimes we negate the essentials all because of ignorance

Well done...civilized, mordern day, 21st century woman....you don’t believe parents still have personal opinion in their child’s marriage.....it’s everywhere both places with cultural/tribal differences and free thinking countries....
there will always be a reason why parents refuse choice of spouse from their children..it can never go away, it has nothing to do with civilization...it could be money, class, educational status, pst experience.....Incase u don’t know, the recent xenophobic attack has put south Africans on the list humans some parents will never allow their children marry.

The main question is why are we still barbaric towards our fellow man in this 21st century that makes people discriminate...it isn’t always about tribe or cultural differences. People don’t just wake up and say they don’t want mbaise tribe or the Fulani and so on.... it’s what the humans from these tribe, race, nation have done or even still doing that makes people discriminate....
my parents don't even have such damn right to forbid me from marrying someone because of her tribe....

there are good and bad people in every tribe....
what makes people who they're is because of their family upbringing and values and not their tribes.....

I told my mom this some years ago with scriptures from the Bible and since then... she changed the tune she just pray for good wives for her children irrespective of the tribe and God make her children good husbands too

Chelsea have registered their first home win under manager Frank Lampard, scoring seven goals against Grimsby Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.

Faustino Anjorin became the latest youngster to benefit from Chelsea's transfer ban following his introduction in the 67th minute as a replacement for Pedro, his senior debut for the London club he officially joined at U9 level.

Aged 17 years, 10 months and 2 days, Anjorin has become the youngest player of Nigerian descent to debut for Chelsea in a domestic competition, breaking the record previously held by Fikayo Tomori, who was aged 18 years, 4 months and 26 days when he debuted for Chelsea in the Premier League in May 2016.

Chelsea led 3-1 at the break; Ross Barkley, Michy Batshuayi and Pedro with the goals for the home team while Matthew Green pulled a goal back for the Mariners.

Kurt Zouma, Reece James and Batshuayi scored to make it 6-1 before Callum Hudson-Odoi found space in the near post and finished emphatically to round out the scoring.

Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham watched proceedings from the bench for the entirety of the game and Grimsby Town's Moses Ogbu entered the game as a sub in the 64th minute
it's like Nigeria have players in almost all British Clubs..... barely you'll find non-Nigeria origin players in any of the English club academics

There's no tune for u to play to..I'm not Dj Khalid..

Keshi taking charge of the CHAN team was normal. a lot of African teams use their main team coach for the CHAN... The qualifier isn't even over and u have already concluded that Imama has failed...
Didn't Yusuf himself lost to Benin republic during the last CHAN qualifier? Didn't he eventually qualified for the tournament? And mind u,he never took charge of any game with the u-23. He was exposed and suspended before he could take charge of any game!

U want Imama to resign. In this same Nigeria? Has Buhari resigned? Have all those incompetent governors ruining their states resign? Nigerians don't know the meaning of the world "resign" ..even Pinnick himself is under investigation by the ICPC, has he resigned?
The fact that he hasn't fired Imama and other incompetent coaches in the national team means that he is either satisfied by their performance or doesn't want to spend money on hiring new coach.. ur theory about him being afraid of some people doesn't make sense.. Let's agree Yusuf is being protected by federal character then what about Imama and Aigbohun? Are they relatives of Buhari cabals too?

I find it rather funny that u are suddenly defending Salisu...considering the fact that u used to preach against corruption here in the past.. Seems like Bascovanveli was right about u after all.. U are just like Buhari and his APC minions who openly condemn corruption but condone in secret
I see you to be very matured reason why I engaged you....because I believe I can learn from you also.....

but digressing to say things about me you don't even know makes no sense.

I still support and call for Yusuf reason a corrupt yusuf is far better than Imama...
and that's my opinion.....

Yes Yusuf lost against Benin Rep but not with this Margin....it seems psychologically imama is suffering for away play syndrome. ..he organise his team to always lose away matches... this is the 3rd have seen within the space of two months.

U aren't being fair and objective in your criticism of Imama at all... I once asked u if u had a personal grudge against the man. now I'm almost convinced that u do..

If Yusuf hadn't been caught on camera collecting bribe,he would have retained his job as the CHAN and u-23 coach.. Imama was just the second assistant coach.. Na condition name crayfish bend ..Imama never asked for the job..the circumstances made him take it...

If at all there's anybody u wanna blame, it should be the NFF... Which serious thinking federation would assigned three teams to one coach! How do they expect him to cope??
Pinnick has been acting all funny about this coaching issue... Christopher Danjuma lead our falconets to one of their worst u-20 performance in history but he retained his job... Aigbohun served us rubbish at the last world cup but retained his job !
Why has Pinnick not said anything about replacing Imama? Assuming we fail to qualify for the CHAN,I can bet that Imama may still be allowed to take charge of the u-23 AFCON!!
Continuity in the national team is good, but when u see incompetency, u get rid of it before it gets worse!!

I'm not defending Imama at all,but try and be objective in ur criticism.. It seems like all u enjoy doing on this thread is to attack the local coaches and players! Its getting lame....
how can someone he objective again...all because I didn't play to your tune.
was Stephen keshi not managing the super eagles job and the CHAN team at the same time during his reign...
was yusuf not managing the CHAN team and the under 23 team too at the same time...

this two coaches achieved results....
trying to use that premise does not hold water....
and also saying Imama never applied for the job... If he is not okay with the job...
please why can't him resign...
is he forced to do the job with a gun threat...?

saying the NFF have refused especially pinnick to relieve this incompetent coaches their jobs.... I totally agree with you...

mind you...pinnick is trying to thread carefully he doesn't have the full support of the APC led government and sports ministry... reason why he is being careful not toil with the job of this coaches especially yusuf at the onset....

notwithstanding he has failed in that regard Still....

please try and know that I am a very blunt person...I don't hide mediocrity....imama and agu have never lived up to expectations at all.

and also the NPFL players have been kind of disappointing too especially when they leave the shores of the country save for Odey recently.

Chuba Akpom, Three Others Sign Switch Of Allegiance Document To Represent Nigeria
nigeriasoccernet.com Sep 25, 2019 1:00 PM

Chuba Akpom, Three Others Sign Switch Of Allegiance Document To Represent Nigeria
Former England youth international Chuba Akpom isn’t the only player who has agreed to switch his international allegiance to Nigeria after appearing for another country at youth level, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal

Akpom confirmed in an interview that he has signed the document which will enable him represent Nigeria at senior level after playing for England at various youth levels.

The PAOK striker is however not the only player who has agreed to switch his nationality to Nigeria as three others have also signed off the papers and just like Akpom they are waiting for the green light from FIFA to complete the switch.

” Akpom isn’t the only one, three others have also agreed to play for Nigeria. Infact two of them initially turned down the chance to represent us last year but they are ready this year and very soon they will have the necessary documents to enable them play for Nigeria “, a source told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” At this stage we won’t be mentioning names because of the dicey nature of these switch but in the coming days their identity will be made public as we believe by then the switch would have been made official by FIFA “, he concluded.

Why the British no come chose to settle for Nigeria sef undecided
the west Africa weather discouraged them.
remember west Africa was tagged the white man's grave....

even though France tried settled in Senegal but they still could not stay....

the south Africa and north Africa weather really suit their life style.

prior the colonisation of the 20th century there was one of the 17the century which was aimed at pursing a more white settled economy that was when countries like USA, NEW ZEALAND (whose original indigenes = moa men/women), Australia and more....

the colonisation carried out in this countries was a bit different and all....
for example the US independence from Britian was basically "economic" the US stopped and fight to it end the payment of royalties and tax to Britain that was the independence this countries fought....

most of the whites in this countries were basically from Europe (dutch and british) for example new york was formally called new Amsterdam it became new York named after Yorkshire in England after it was bought from the dutch. like I was told don't know how true it is...

the prisoners who were Europeans where taken to this countries to own and cultivate large plantations which they later make royalties to the British government....and others it was the great need for labour to meet the growing labour demand in this countries that necessitated the emergence of the TRANS ALANTIC SLAVE TRADE and all....

Of all French colonies Algeria was unique. France has been in Algeria since the early 1800s while others came in late 1800s and 1900s.
France also consider Algeria not as a colony but as part of France, it was like Puerto Rico or Hawaii to America, so a lot of French settled there over the years.
That made the war very brutal and in fact the French generals never wanted to stop and attempted several assassinations on Charles de Gaulle who negotiated the talks.
It was a bloody war with atrocities committed by both sides.

France wanted make Algeria a settled economy.
