As regards your question, go to aims website and follow instructions. It's easy.
You need your academic transcript, degree result, not less than two years work experience in the position with proofs, such as payslips, reference letter from current employment and previous employers, and an assessment fee receipt.

@ejijesus, I think AIMS normally assess Scientists as Technicians until one writes and passes the professional exam.

I am not a guru, but I think with a minimum of 2 years experience you are good to go.
