sweetilicious: Well, it depends on the points you need from English. Getting 20 points for English score is difficult in TOEFL than in PTE. PTE has been a lifesaver for folks here, although some have to write many times before they got the 20 points. Zany. 1 Like |

keleto:What are you assessed as? Which occupation do you want to nominate? Is the projected 60 points before or after the 10 extra point from 489? Which region do you want to apply to? Different regions, different requirements. We need to know the variables before we can advise better. Have you tried writing PTE too? Zany. |

zanyzara: assess as electrical engineering technician(I have HND) 2) i want to nominate electrical or electronic engineerng technician ,3)projected point of 60 is before the extra 10 point 4)NSW. That is the only region available. One other region says I would need 70 ponit before the extra 10 point(SA),ACT is not nominating 5,) I would have tried PTE, but no centre in PH. I wont have the time to keep travelling to Lagos,if I need to write more then once. |

If you have a positive assessment already, what is stopping you from applying to the state nominating? The only way to know if you will be invited is to apply. With 60 points, you should be able to get a 489 or even 190. You can't know until you apply. 1 Like |

Please house, I have a positive assessment but no experience was recorded bcuz of my poor reference letter. I have corrected my reference letter now. Should I apply for reassessment of experience or should I go straight to EOI? 2 Likes |

keleto: I do not know how you came about this information, but i have never seen such from their site since July 1st this year. Last year? Yes, they needed about 4-5years of experience and it was scrapped. They updated that list and were showing low availability without much proof. (4+1 invite since July) My take is that they wants to slow 2018-2019 intake, but you have to fire first.

DoDirtsLikeWorm: Ok thanks. SPECIAL CONDITIONS APPLY. pls what does this mean?

Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by DoDirtsLikeWorm(m): 2:31pm On Nov 18, 2018 |
keleto: Well...this Special condition has not been there for up to 2weeks. If you can raise up to 60points; then with state nominaton 70points, enter the pool and they will have no choice if they needed your services. I think WA pattern is tryna posses them.(WA focused more on those that studied in their State) #MyThoughts Or maybe they are delaying intake until I am ready to apply. ![]() I will be coming in with the same 3123 code, I will leave them with no choice. |

bellong: Oga Bellong, I thought Radiographers were hotcake in OZ? Like on the skill select its called Medical Diagnostic Radiographer and someone once showed a link that Ive been looking for showing that There is more demand than supply... By age sha I have more points than him so I dunno... But I know you know more than me so... |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 3:57pm On Nov 19, 2018 |
victor54: He did not give enough information to understand his situation. However, he should still apply and be in the pool. Lajoie33: Provided you can meet the requirements of the body responsible (ASMIRT), you should be fine. I believe radiography will have additional process like other allied and para medical fields. Check the website of the assessing body to understand what is needed for a positive assessment. Yes, radiographers and sonographers are hotcake. 1 Like |

bellong:I got positive assessment from EA with no experience, eventhough I have 5years experience. Their explanation is that my reference letter doesn't include my job roles. Now I have got a reference with my roles, should apply for relevant experience assessment or should I go to EOI stage? |
