BascoVanVeli: He does well for Super Eagles 'B' and is also the captain of the squad. Pinnick has created the term 'national team player' and Ezenwa fits the description. And what has the squad achieved so far since Sanusi dismissed? How is he fairing in the league? A goalie that can't be said to be in the top 3 category in the npfl manning the post or being called the captain of super eagles team B |

We might see Joseph Yobo on the bench as the coach after Rohr leave I see yobo as someone that has luck on his side He achieve lot with super eagles if he plies the rule of merit in player selection and call ups But right now Equaevon and that Aigbogun wanna steal the job from him through the back door, two mediocre coaches |

I recall when i said Frank Onyeka is a better player than Philip Billing, a popular moniker on this thread, rose to argue with me, but later backed out, i do not know what he later discovered that made him rescind. Dude has not played anything yet in a competitive league so lets watch him play prior we pass judgement more so his feature for the super eagles the last time was damn average |

Fast forward boom he is in Sparta as first choice, then starts saying he wants to take his time to make a choice of country to rep. Wetin for happen to Rohr Just asking. Lol...he wont have gotten that reviews had it been rohr never invited and featured him against brazil Anyway Rohr did well by inviting him but we haven't seen the best of him yet,he concedes recklessly |

andrewbaba44: Its not by force akpeyi will be invited but there is nothing wrong with him being invited
Sirigu and fabianski are not also buffon or casillas but they are on the bench watching better young Gk start
Inviting him is just a reward of his good form and nothing else, if maduka is injured then uzoho will take over so why are you worried ?
The others young gk like alampasu and co rohr invited how many of them did he use since you guys prefer all the GK to be young
What about ezenwa that doesnt deserve any of his invitation , you guys dont like hearing the name akpeyi because of some few errors, but he was at the post at the Afcon and he didnt any error and we came 3rd I get you papa But someone like uzoh would have done better with that free kick from mahrez |

PDPGuy: Once Rohr is done, the NFF must look to the direction of Emmanuel Amuneke to handle the SE.. I would have preferred Siaisia as my top choice but he has been banned by CAS for five years from any football-related activity Thats if he has learnt to be ambitious and not place his career above monetary gains He is an intelligent coach but his problem is same problem with indigenous coaches the propensity to market players and get cuts from players transfers.... |

andrewbaba44: You are not making sense ,just because of you don’t like akpeyi
Akpeyi starting for eagles was never on discussion here when we have Maduka and uzoho available ,so what sense are you trying to make now by saying people that want akpeyi to be recalled will be angry about Maduka good form ? Of what use it is to invite a 30+ old goalie to come understudy younger goalies in their early 20s To embarrass him or what? Why dont u use that slot for another young goalie that still has more years to spend in the team growing and adapting to business between the sticks Akpeyi is not buffon neither is he Ike Casilias so no need invite him, better we let him enjoy his CAF and south Africa league foot ball in peace |

My own is why are they trying to force home based players on him? They wanna market home based players to obscure leagues. The reason why we have got this foreign born lads so far is because rohr is our coach let an indigenous coach start managing the team and then u will begin to see the likes of Onobi,Ankas Chima,Salami,Okonkwo,Eze all this players are wallowing in obsecure leagues currently okonkwo just got released by galatasary |

TheGoodJoe: During an interview in Port Harcourt, Nigeria head coach, Bora Milutinovic, 1998, was asked by a Journalist, Sam Atasia
Sam Atasia: Bora, you know the strength of the Spanish side with the likes of Raul, Hierro, Luis Enrique, Alfonso and a host of other.
Do you think the Nigerian Super Eagles should be scared of facing Spain?
Bora: Spain should be scared of Nigeria.
The journalists were speechless.
Few weeks later, we heat Spain and won the group that had Paraguay and Bulgaria.
Rohr should learn a thing or two from Bora. But the coach with inferiority complex will never learn He always loose prior he plays the match He has a defeated mindset.... I have never seen a coach like Rohr in my life |

JohnBullMySon: True. Our squad needs to become stable and play more games. Nobody who hasn't played before should even be invited again, except Lookman. I saw some improvements against Cameroon though, except that Marcus was killing that midfield. I agree.... i am sure dude won't get invitee again when the full squad returns Rohr needs to have a philosophy and game plan..pick only players that fits this philosophy to play sweet and result oriented football |

JohnBullMySon: The major problem is the lack of coordination and cohesion that comes from African teams. I have been watching the SE for sometime and our problem is not Rohr tactics. Rather we haven't bonded as a team. We train only a week to matches played about twice or three times a year.
If you observe our team closely, you'll see that we hardly drop quick passes. Individual brilliance has always been our best bet against big teams. If we train enough to pass the ball seamlessly, We go even play quarter final for this EURO. You need see the sequence this Europeans play it looks as if i am playing or watching someone play the PES game most of the passes are so on point and it aids progression the opponent half unlike us the players will be passing backwards The best we have played in a while was the friendly match we had with Brazil and ukraine wish we can keep up with that momentum |

fabyom: Africa had just five teams while Europe had more than twice as much. Africa no be am in what way? Nigeria don beat Spain before even when they were favourite, same with Senegal beating France, Cameroon beating Argentina, Ghana etc. So which is Africa no be am. What has Switzerland, Austria, Hungary achieved in football? But cos they are Europeans you people will start praising them to the gallery. Football no be mathematics. This Switzerland team can never beat us. Take that to the bank! You're talking as if Europeans were given 16 reps on a platter They deserve it with their chuk in above average performance. Africans dont even deserve that much reps self because we have not justify it in recent past let an Africa team win the world cup then we can now talk of more reps for africa We barely even make it to second round whereas the Europeans do troop in the last 16 in numbers same with asians sometimes |

Belgium beat Brazil well ,was it 5-0 ?
England only beat Colombia on penalties
Uruguay also beat Portugal
South Americans no plenty but the wahala too much

Fortunately for African teams, this tournament has shown that most of these European teams have only few elite/world-class players. They are definitely beatable. Most of these teams will struggle against Morrocco, Senegal, Nigeria, Algeria, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and Ghana. Are you for real You mean the aforementioned teams can beat any of this teams in the last 8?? Bro wake up oohh they will whip africa teams |

jihday: They are European teams, they play each other every now and then you can't expect the big boys to always win, the last time Switzerland beat France was in 92. There is away this even mid level teams play They play the big teams to win...teams like ukraine, Hungary, Switzerland, Sweden etc They dont play to draw or out of fear.... I doubt if any africa team can play france wit the mentality the Swiss played...the teams are so organized even teams like N. Macedonia Africa teams really have a long way to go Even the south Americans with what i am seeing in this euros they may not smell the world cup in years to come... football really dwells in Europe. If the so many European coaches like rohr cant organize africa teams in mentality and composure to play the way this Europeans play then they have got no business being in africa. Thats why they were hired |
