Joezinho: Stop chatting shiit. African champions league is not low life. Besides akpeyi has been impressive for kaizer chiefs this season in the PSL.. Akpeyi has the club's captain and SA No1 goalie Khune relegated to the bench permanently this season.
You are the same dude that wants a NPFL goalie as third choice goalie(probably the calamitous Ezenwa who is also above 30) yet you feel having akpeyi as a third coach goalie is a bad idea.
Is the NPFL better than the PSL? A league that has not produced an African champion since 2004. And laughable, when you also consider that Nigeria has not been able to win any of the editions of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) since its formation – a competition for players based in local African leagues.
The stadiums are rarely filled up, the players do not collect good salaries – players are still running to South Africa, Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Morocco..
Once again, you are chatting shiit. That Ezenwa you mentioned is another goalie that should barred from coming close to super eagles. Him and akpeyi offer nothing going forward Yes he plays well for his south africa club side and when he comes to the super eagles he start to fidget, shakes and scared at the goal post He can't even manage his backline... i have watched him play for the super eagles and none of his performance speaks volume he can keep the south africa captain in the bench...maybe dude is even worse self after all they didn't make the afcon i think |

Some of this invitation end up brewing bad blood in the team none of this players are way exceptional above each other.... they're all average we called up the younger goalies simply because they've got prospects and stil growing |

Does the fact the Enyeama and Rufai conceded 4 goals and Akpeyi didn't make him look bad or good Let's forget reasoning because we want to win the argument sha If you really wanna argue this, then you need blame the defenders as well partly some of those goals were the defenders lapses and you dont expect even the best goal keeper to checkmate all the mistakes from his defenders |

Beloved3: Honestly as much as I don't like Rohr's tactics I still find it very difficult to criticize him.
I just read the news on Sunday Oliseh saying he can come back as coach if the NFF wants him and then I flashed back on all the ugly scenario that happened back then that led to him quitting the team and jeopardizing our qualification.
Many of us criticized him back then, but he did however make some valid points. Himself and the players being owed for months, him having to keep urging the players that they shouldn't worry the bonuses will be sorted and just focus on the games ahead and him having to pay for many services with his own money just to keep things in shape.
The Nigerian football working environment is very unpalatable. It is painful that we read that Rohr is going through the same thing too. Sometimes he complains, sometimes he keeps quiet. Why would you not pay your coach and players for months.
Honestly I find it difficult to blame Rohr for not being ambitious. He has been level headed despite the maltreatment. A coach like Oliseh would have by now let hell loose. God forbid Oliseh comes back He should go learn how to manage teams, players and team management..infact he need improv on his man management skills. His sojourn with the super eagles was a nightmare and likewise in Netherlands he has refused take up jobs in Turkey and others simply claiming he does not wanna stay far away from home-Belgium which goes to show that he is not ready to be a foot ball manager For Rohr... he has a defeated mindset many a time he always talk down his team strengths. You dont create excuses for failure even prior you play a match Will remind when he starts talking again as we head to the afcon |

JohnBullMySon: Let's wait for the game first. 4-0 will be even be a miracle.
I'm not against home based players but truth be told. This is one of the most foolish match fixtures to happen in this 21st century. How else can you explain a entirely new team with a makeshift new coach, almost everybody playing NT football for the first time against a side ranked 11 in the world, in the name of CHAN preparation. Is that how to prepare for CHAN? Can SE XI even beat Mexico?
Since it's CHAN, there are many African teams with majority of thier players based in their country. We could have even used our Homebased to haunt back Sierra Leone, but all the NFF could come up with is an excursion to the USA.
I'm not expecting any suprises here. Foolish actions always lead to foolish results. Pinnick is a mistake Tell me what is Aigbogun doing being one of the coaches of that team?? How did he merit the appointment And what about Yobo Was he not supposed to manage the chan team The appointment of coaches by nff is strictly based on sentiment |

we are first our ethnic nations before country...
the only mindset necessary for growth is to have development and infrastructural plans and achieve them before the time lapses..
What the current pr:esident is doing is te:rrorism and conquest and violent tribalism that promotes hatred, tribalism can be practiced without other ethnic nations.. which is something both the current president and zik never understood... If we all align ourselves with our tribe prior as Nigerians.. We'll always remain divided. I have said it tribalism resides in the minds of an average nigerian....and that now influence their political, economic and even marital decisions It is absurd that in the 21st century we find ourselves thinking this way. What buhari is doing that i have no doubts many of us would do worse in appointments and judgements when it comes to national matters giving undue preference to one ethnic group over another is prejudice and it brews bitterness and hatred in the minds of the others |

When a Yoruba person starts been pro-yoruba and limits it to the SW then that person is a Yoruba nationalist not bigot if that person now leaves the SW to another part of Nigeria and starts been extremely pro-yoruba then that person is a bigot.
Zik was an ethnic bigot because he left the SE and started been pro-igbo outside the SE. Federal and regional jobs outside the SE that are meant for indegenes Zik gave them to his fellow Igbos.
Zik and b:uhari are very similar people. charlesemeka85: Former Arsenal winger Xavier Amaechi has been released by Hamburg.
The Hamburger Abendblatt reports the 20-year-old Englishman was released from training to hold talks with other clubs.
Amaechi spent part of last season on-loan with Karlsruher SC.
In the summer of 2019, Hamburg paid 2.5 million euros for the winger, making Amaechi the second most expensive purchase since relegation to the second division.
But the left-sided winger has struggled to make an impact over these two years with HSV. This Ameachi guy was good then.... he can make succints passes of the ball and good ball control Well i wish him well and i know when he starts play well now he will start saying he wanna play for 3 Lions thats their dream very few of them wanna play for nigeria and it is because they're currently not good enough for the 3 Lions |

charlesemeka85: Former Flying Eagles coach Paul Aigbogun picked the controversial 25-man squad of NPFL players who will take on Mexico in a friendly next month, just as officials informed SCORENigeria that the team will be led by NFF technical director and former Super Eagles coach Austin Eguavoen.
Eguavoen will be in charge of the team with Aigbogun serving as his assistant, an official disclosed.
Curiously, Super Eagles assistant coach Joseph Yobo has not been mentioned as part of this arrangement.
Yobo status in the national team remains very uncertain after his absence at the Super Eagles recent friendlies against Cameroon in Austria could not be explained.
It was gathered that scouting in the NFF technical department falls under Aigbogun and the former Enyimba and Warri Wolves coach has also undertaken scouting missions for NPFL stars for Gernot Rohr.
Questions have raged over the merit or otherwise of a good number of the call-ups for the July 3 friendly against Mexico in Los Angeles.
Rohr himself appears to have “washed his hands” off the team after he insisted he was “only an adviser” and will not be the one to lead them out against Mexico, who are ranked 11th in the world by FIFA. I don't expect much from a know failure wit the under 20 team It is such a pity that this coaches wit no sound knowledge of football are getting the nod ahead of competent ones like finidi, ogunbote, amuneke |

12large1: The problem is that Nigerians totally disregard maladministration, incompetence from NFF and expect coaches to perform despite the aforementioned. For examples, Rohr and players salaries are owed in arrears yet we expect him to have the motivation, desire and belief in his team or work. We must first organize ourselves (Administration wise) Coaching at grassroots level, pay players salaries on time, Organize our league to a decent level. Then, fans can be mandating and expecting a world class performance from super eagles. Anything contrary, we should accept whatever we get. You fail to pay your coach for 6 months and you expect him to even be motivated to work What i don't understand is why should it be that Equaveon and Aigbogun be assigned to coach those home based guys ?why not Yobo? This pinnick guy have gone to made coaches appointment to be based on sentiment and not competence Especially aigbogun that failed wit the under 20 side and he is still failing. There is nothing good about those coaches even yobo self he got his job based on man know man I am sure they belong to same cult wit Pinnick he said it before he is a freemason in one of his post i read |
