CHAN lost to Ghana via penalty 4:5 after aggregate score 2:2

They couldn't seize the opportunity to qualify for CHAN so as to promote their career

Nobody pls should start requesting the super eagles invitee be dangled before them like strawberry or foreign based players be sacrificed for their call ups

Atleast we saw one from no where last night who claim not to be a football fan but jumped into arguments and discussion related to football

Isn’t that weird? cheesy
Baba let matter die down okay

I am really dumbfounded like how low people can go. Not everyone takes contrary opinion or little online quarrel in good fate some peeps can be so vindictive and petty. I remember how someone I had little disagreement with in our departmental Whatsap group go the extent of uploading my pics on the WhatsApp group.... just normal pics I was surprised and keep up with insults. Since then i realise that not so many people are matured or have adversary quotient.

Just let it slide going outside nairaland to go search for someone's SM to post is just too vindictive

There is nothing wrong in participating in that squabble on twitter to get 2k. U didn't beg for it but participated in it. Even though I dont participate in such on SM i see nothing wrong it or look down on anyone involve. Sometimes people do so not because they really need the cash but just with that they can buy additional airtime on their phone wit it and also the fun involved ....so bro relax your mind u did nothing wrong and overlook all the childish acts.

Please also try minimise the way we goad people's views and choice of preferred players here think me need to learn that too....

Shalom. Happy new month

It's over. Another game, another win for Alhassan and Antwerp.

Alhassan Yusuf finishing the game with yet another impressive midfield showing.

Gent 1-2 Antwerp.

Torunarigha was benched for all 90.
Nice one

Wait same Torunarigha that was forming for the super eagles then.

You see this life it is good to grab your chances when it come calling

Roma almost lost at home to Cremo. Roma is overrated. Napoli with a fit Oshimen and that new Maradona (Georgia captain) will challenge Milan for the Scuddetto. The Scuddetto is for Napoli to loose. That team is complete.
You're right this napoli team is complete and with simone to cover up for Oshimen the team is a contender for the seria a this season

They just need to keep going

I know egbon but good we clarify issues
That's how many go about calling Obi ethnic champion where as he has not play the ethnic card since this campaign started.

Some shameless people supporting an aspirant who boldly said he brought buhari upon Nigerians to actualize his own selfish ambition of becoming president.
An aspirant evading interviews, live meetings like the NBA meeting recently. An aspirant whose running mate shamelessly said Obi can b president of Ibo land should campaign for their aspirant in peace and not go make fool of themselves calling Obi ethnic bigot or sort.
I know what this APC government have made me loose and go through this past 7 years and currently making Nigerians go through

I think I need to respond to this before you incite people to blame Pinnick out sheer ignorance.

Pinnick's response to the pre Afcon Osimhen saga is nothing short of impressive and commendable. First when Napoli was parading the injury story, he asked for a medical report that he had not recovered. When Napoli stated that Osimhen had COVID (Which we all knew was a new lie because Osimhen already spilled the truth about the injury recovery on social media). Pinnick wanted to get FIFA to perform an independent COVID. At that point Osimhen had to beg pinnick on phone that he should forget about it. He told pinnick that he was no longer interested in being at the AFCON. Since Osimhen himself had pulled out after threats from Napoli, Pinnick left the case thereafter.

Personally I don't even like Etoo's attitude. He is too controlling and assertive. Napoli's president never said that Anguissa will not play AFCON. He only said he didn't want to sign anymore Africans because of AFCON problems. Why then is Etoo responding? Doesn't he know that he can create unnecessary animosity between Anguissa and the management? He should learn to be diplomatic and not try to dare people at any slightest chance because it is Anguissa and his career alone that will suffer any fallout. 2024 AFCON is still far. He can act when something happens not to be responding unnecessarily.

Before we point fingers at Napoli's president, let's remember that the problem is both sided. No club likes to lose important players during the season.
For your first paragraph I still fault NFF approach. The Napoli board try use almost similiar approach on Anguisa and koulibaly but seeing it won't work they let those ones go. Similiarly watford try same with SARR but the doggedness of Senegalese FA didn't let it fly

Napoli president out burst makes no sense and deserve cautioning by CAF....because if it is allow to stand soon other Seria Clubs will voice out same measure and take such stance. The response from kulabaly and Senegalese coach is apt.

I am inciting anyone against Pinnick but stating my own opinion on how his leadership has underpinned our football growth

Humility I respect your view on Pinnick but you know what ""is our man syndromes"" (he is from my side so i must support him)

Pinnick has done his best, now time for new man and let's see what will happen. As two term NFF president and with what we achieved in the last eight years in football,Pinnick has done more for himself than for the development of the game.
Thanks egbon for your wise words. The last paragraph summed it up. He lost focus and his inability to balance his ambitions and Nigeria football development became a problem.
He obviously started well with the under 15 grass root project and others but as soon as he starts playing CAF and FIFA politics he lost it. He became afraid to take a stand for NFF and WAFU in other not to twart his ambitions

The zoning of Under 17, under 20, under 23 male and female plus Our Female National Team african nations cup qualifying route won't have happened if he had taken stand. He was a top executive in CAF when that happened but kept mute

And what was Pinnick response to this words from Napoli President?
He kept mute and same Napoli stylishly prevented Oshimen from showing up in last afcon and I am so sure with Pinnick as NFF president if afcon is to hold next year January Napoli will still withhold Oshimen and nothing will happen reason because our NFF president only care about himself and ambition not our football... the NFF for him is a means to launch himself in vital offices in CAF and FIFA

The South African players association released a statement kicking against this. For those with well structured leagues like South Africa, this initiative is bad business, talk less other African countries like Nigeria who won't get representation for the most part.

Anyone who thinks this is good for African football is simply short sighted. If this succeed (and it most likely will) this will move money away from the less glamorous CAF champions League, any right thinking sponsor would bail. More local leagues across Africa will bear the brunt.

To show how disingenuous these guys are, they would use zones for every other qualifier (save the male AFCON/Male CAF champions League) using the development of football across Africa as an excuse, but when it comes to something like this, they stick to ranking. We have incompetent heads in WAFU
Pinnick cares only for himself
Him and his VPs are using the NFF roles to promote their selfish interest in Caf And FIFA and not to promote Nigeria football

Even when Zambia issued a complaint in the last AWCON for what happened in their semi final match against South Africa for Nigeria Pinnick keep mute

let him move first. If he performs in training definently he will play

Ac Milan before prior to their declaration of interest scouted him thoroughly so I believe they were impressed in the qualities he posses as a midfielder

Kessie just had few seasons of top flight football before he was snapped up by the Milan giants and he did massively well for them. Same can be onyedika’s case
I just don't understand their fears
Onyedika in Milan will be a deal breaker all he need do is to seize the few chances he gets with that he is good to go
