fabyom: Olayinka is not a striker he is a winger! I don't know why peeps are clamoring for him to lead the line. Sadiq has great positioning and good ball control. He will get better with time. Which Sadiq Pls Teams like man city and Chelsea thrives on false 9 U don't really need a striker to score goals....a good winger can or SS can play as a striker |

TheGoodJoe:
It is not true. Big misconception. That was a tactical discussion between the coach and the player. It even highlights how sound the man has gotten the players to the point they can read games and put heads with the coach.
Their build up plays, their reading of space, and efficient long balls were fine. Their problem was individual quality, which we were ahead.
As for coaching, they were well coached. But u can create excuses for people sha See how u explained what u knew nothing about and even credit the coach for the assumed tactical discussion |

Kog45: I thought we already knew what Onyeka can do so no need for this,Onyeka was on the bench for ever resilient Ndidi,Onyeka has nothing to prove....but Olisa proved Kokmne right that few minutes is enough....the boy Olisa na real class o. Exactly I am so happy with the team depth |

kingphilip: Did you also give this match rustiness excuse for Sadiq yesterday or Nwakali in his few minutes against Egypt? But deep down u know what Onyeka can do at the top level ? We have seen him do it in the EPL so he deserve another look in moreover the match he played under Rohr he did so well |

kingphilip: Did you also give this match rustiness excuse for Sadiq yesterday or Nwakali in his few minutes against Egypt? Yeah I didn't criticise nwakali against Egypt and also the main reason for my criticize of him is because of the hype and been that he is clumsy off the ball For Sadiq... I can't remember if I really criticise him much against Egypt but u see yesterday I criticized him having been subbed in for 2 matches straight and get to start in 1 he stil fumbles...it shows there is something he need to fix or he does not just have it in him at all |

safarigirl: Some people amaze me with their takes
Confidence player in 7-game tournament?
We don play 3 games finish and confidence never even pass foundation level, who will wait to build confidence for the duration of the tournament?
Abeg, we have seen enough. That's why some persons here will make bad coaches Using the knock stages to build players confidence when you've got players on bench that can do better or rather get the job done |

lloydtruth: So Simon Moses was this threatening yet Rohr kept limiting him to defensive roles and was on the verge of recalling Victor Moses. Who needs Victor Moses now when Simon can deliver. Anyways Premiership calling soon, Simon should be ready for the Premiership soon. Will advise he stay put in the French league or even go to Spain Not all players will flourish in the EPL and moreover EPL may expose him to many injuries since he does better with the ball in his feet |

lbrichman2: Truth be told, I still want to see Sadiq given more minutes albeit in a different set up He may have missed chances today, but I feel it's due more to his nerves than ability That goal would do wonders for his confidence I believe we will see a different Sadiq next time Oga we are not here for experiment U don't go play against Senegal or Cameroon missing chances and poor decision making like this... with their pace they would take u on a counter and score u goals We don't need to experiment with Sadiq or try build his confidence level in the round of 16, 8 and more... we need strikers that can get the job done so please let Taiwo lead the attack and Olayinka come in as sub biko |

drDoom3: For the moment, I think Olayinka is a better backup CF to Awoniyi. Strong enough, excellent work rate, nothing flashy but links up play well. Another Awoniyi but just smaller and slimmer.
Sadiq may be useful in certain games. His height combined with Ajayi made us especially dangerous from set-pieces in the first half. However the guy needs to work on himself a lot. He needs to be more fluid, add some upper body mass and learn to link up play better. He gives off this Onuachu 5 years ago vibe (Onuachu's days at Mitdjylland when he scored that goal against Manchester United). Lol...it's like u don't know Sadiq He does not know how to jump use his head So please don't see him as an advantage when it comes to set piece His decision making is so slow and not timely no one will give such luxury in the round of 16, 8 and 4. Olayinka and Awoniyi will be better |

Taiwo would have helped the team get a score if he was in the field be it a build up play or strike Sadiq just annoyed me this evening |

IDENNAA: We have more talented players and init boy don't have good history with Nigeria. You know Nigeria has no sense of history...sodje , Ameobi , Abbey George....all rubbish. You re ally amused me It's like the postulations made agains Rasdache arsenal goal keeper prior his move to arsenal on how his clubs have always been relegated and so arsenal too will be relegated History is subject to change You dont hold a view that is not scientifically proven after several trials and hypothesis like it is done in the scientific environment or lab with so much seriousness and hate When you try make projections from history you leave place for possibility of changes or contrary results You need to let go of your rigid and parochial nature... That's why many of us here doubt your claim you reside in US because Some one well exposed and knowledgeable won't be throwing words and vile like a man that have never been to the classroom years ago Nigeria dont have many of this foreign born players like it is now reason because the influx of Nigerians to Europe and America was enmass after babagida failed SAP program where the Country was subject to hardship and inflation...lot of Nigerians whisked out of the country and it has been in droves since then...this Nigerians like every other humans have kids too and this kids like you and I have no choice but to identify with their father's country and culture and with the Nigeria law they're Nigerians and can participate in sports, politics and more... That's why the quest for Nigeria born abroad to identify with nigeria in economics, politics and sports will keep increasing because Nigerians are leaving the country in numbers everyday their offspring will one day wanna identify with Nigeria in Nigeria basket ball team for example most of the players were born and groomed in America and we are reaping the fruits so I believe football same will happen as we harness both FB and home groomed. Maturity is not revealed in age... you need to do better Mazi |

Just like the way you ruin your reputation I used to respect you so much here You need to understand for someone of your age some of those words and biased views is uncalled for You need work on them.... hating and picking on certain players simply because they were born and groomed abroad |
