Bernardo Silva and others do play as false 9 most times ,so I don’t know why that my guy is saying pep prefers his country man
Exactly
G Jesus can be wasteful most times

We all know Pep like playing without a striker most times ,so you saying Torres starting over Jesus because they are from the same country is totally wrong

Mendy started ahead of zichenko also ,I guess pep and Mendy are from the same country

Ake started ahead of John stones ,pep and stones are from the same country

Some of you don’t even know football ,imagine saying pep is bias after 1 game ,same Gabriel Jesus played more game as a striker than Torres last season ,but suddenly pep prefers his country man just because he started against spurs

Smh
Moreover i rather play an attacking midfielder over G Jesus anyday any time...he is the Timo Wiener of man city so your explanation is on point

And scoring does a whole lot of good to his confidence..

But in order to score, you need playing time.
The truth is Nacho does not really care about all this
All he cares about is the pounds he gets to receive weekly whether he plays or sits in the bench

Villarreal like basket ?

Ogbeni crystal place and Villarreal no be the same ,even a blind man knows ,you can only lie and deceive your self

You beat crystal palace because they are a weak team and Villarreal took you to pk

Because you beat atm real no mean say you must beat Villarreal ,common sense should tell you football is not judged like that ,how come you beat mancity last season and you failed to win westbrom and Aston Villa ?

Think before you talk next time grin
But hope you know Tuchel has never lost against a spanish side be it when he was in PSG, Germany and now in England

So I am so sure under him Chelsea will easily beat spanish teams even if it is penalties but can sometimes loose against epl teams

Musa can always play good football for us if he gets good run of games for his club sides

Sometimes he delivers when you least expect
What I love about him..is humility. A captain that you can bench and put in the second half without raising eyebrows but still dude need to be left alone after the world cup next year.

The major issue has always been maintenance....

Government should lease out these stadiums to clubs or private individuals who will make regular use of the stadium and keep it in shape... It isn't everytime they should be waiting for the national team to make use of the stadiums...

The super eagles moved to Abuja and left the Lagos stadium to rot.. they moved to Calabar and left Abuja to rot...
Exactly they should allow clubs use this stadia only on the signed contract that they'll maintain it or private coys have the stadia

The third and final midfield performance I saw yesterday was the one everyone else saw. The most visible of them all.... Frank Onyeka for Brentford.

We all know the lad is a CDM but yesterday, Thomas Frank decided to use Onyeka differently. He knew Arteta's men were gonna have the Lion's share of possession so he played Onyeka as a Box-to-box Bison. A midfielder with the licence to press and hassle opponents anywhere on the pitch.

Thomas Frank knew that if he was gonna get anything out of yesterday's game, he needed players who knew how to play without the ball and keep some kind of control when not in possession. Frank Onyeka was his answer to Arsenal's possession-based game.

When Brentford applied the high press, Onyeka was always found close to their top forwards, Toney and Mbeumo helping greatly with the press and it worked out quite well. Arsenal struggled with Brentford's Constant High pressing and it came in layers.
His workrate, crazy running, and assurance in duels also gave Brentford a fighting chance and kept them defensively impenetrable.

He lasted 80mins and by this time he was definitely fatigued even though he still had some fuel left in his engine. Thomas Frank wanted to save his secret defensive weapon (no longer a secret now after that decent showing) for many more games to come.

Noorgaard played DM yesterday, a role Onyeka is much more accustomed to but Onyeka played a kind of box-to-box role that didn't involve much ball-carrying. He did okay with the ball at his feet but he can be better and needs more work but he did okay generally on the passing side. 81.3% passing accuracy suggests that too.

Brentford came into that Arsenal game with players boasting a grand total of just 3 EPL apperances (Sergi Canos with 1 EPL app and Ivan Toney with 2 EPL apps) and their inexperience is going to be exploited at some point.
They won't always keep the ball too against most of the other vastly experienced EPL sides and this is where Frank Onyeka comes in. His mobility, strength in duels, ability to block out passing lanes and workrate should give Brentford a huge fighting chance in games to come as seen with the one vs Arsenal.

He did enough to impress yesterday but he is still a work in progress. Welcome to the PL, Super Frank the Tank. cool
Thanks alot for this analysis

Where did i tell you barca have more fans in nigeria than chelsea?

Combined barca and madrid fans in nigeria and they are still not up to half of Chelsea fans, so whats your point, do you even understand the argument ?

Is Nigeria the only country that watch football? Chelsea fans arent close to barca fans worldwide and thats fact so Chelsea and barca should not be on the same sentence when it comes fans, Chelsea wey people begin know 2004

Barca and manchester have the most fans worldwide , Know this and know peace
But you've got nothing to prove it

Chelsea have more fans in nigeria than berca if i am to generalize like u

Au contraire
Idenna my brother,
Ndidi is actually one of the very few players u can't easily replace in SE.
Just like Mikel, one day he put up master class performance that will produce AFCON trophy for u.
All he need is two or more quality players in the squad to solidify d team.
He is lacking a quality midfield partner in SE.
IDENNA beef with Ndidi is not because he lack qualify but reason been he kept out his preferred midfield monstero modric pirlo zidane azubuike... from the team.

Thats where the problem is...we've tried explain to him that it wasn't ndidi's fault but still won't listen

I laughed when I saw the report of him saying they won't allow NPFL players join obscure leagues . lol...

Pinnick in my opinion isn't much different from most of the leaders we have in this country.. They don't know how to treat an issue from the root..

The main reason players are leaving the league for obscure ones is because of the poor structure of the league.. Players are being owed wages like civil servants, poor playing pitches, poor coaching, poor players welfare, fans violence that encourage the win at home at syndrome.... Those are the issues that need to be treated...
The bolded is so true... pinnick is a typical politician he has been a politician since his undergraduate days..... so expect that trait from him

I am not against camping and playing friendlies with this npfl guys but they can be camped in abuja for example and get to play friendlies with some local club sides and few west africa countries...that will help put the team in shape

Pinning your opinion on me isn't truth...

I ask again, who are the "we" that are clamoring for the inclusion of home based players in the team?

Your attempt to defend Pinnick's foolishness really failed...

Israel Abia who was the top scorer in the league 2 seasons ago just recently joined a Saudi Arabia 3rd division club... Iwuala who we regard as the face of the league in recent days has moved to Tunisia...

Pinnick is wasting valuable resources on an unprofitable venture...
and Oliseh ndah is heading to south africa
Pinnick is wasting money and sacrificing our fifa ranking for fruitless friendlies with this NPFL players
