My bro, you and I know that nations grow when citizens see it as theirs. Not in the case with Nigeria. There is no ownership from top to bottom. The elites that have the financial muscle takes everything outside including their families. The middle class works hard to move their families outside too. Truth is d country is on a downward spiral. Prayers is that it hits rock bottom quickly so we can start moving up.
Amen to your prayer
I wish 2023 can come so fast

Nigeria break up is not visible...if we are to be logical...many of northern elite have oil well in South even dangote is building refinery in the Lagos even we Southerners have buisness in the north the prayer is to just get it right.
Yes the break up is not visible the elites benefiting from the corrupt system dont want end of the marriage. But i was so happy we were getting it right under jonathan elections was becoming free and fair, the people's will and choice was now been honoured was hoping we could continue with that progress because the first step to ensuring good governance in a democracy is free and fair elections where the people are allowed to choose who govern them....the leader in turn sees he own the people his full accountability and not one god father or so but we messed it up by electing Buhari and now we have retrogressed

The sprit of tribalism got aroused by this present government it wasn't like this before...it took me donkey years to know not all people that are in the east are ibo and not all in the north are Fulani...now everyone is supporting their tribe whether they are good or bad...we have forgotten the bullet that killed Nigerians during the endsars protest does not differentiate between igbo and hausa humanity comes first before anything.
It is well bro
I have said it should Nigerians elect some one like buhari come 2023 will leave this country asap and never plan return.

They will keep on electing bad leaders because of their stupidity

Naija is now so bad that people do kill cow to celebrate having a visa to travel out

Ordinary international passport wey every citizen suppose get don turn achievement grin

Poverty capital
I tell u it is so had
Had to attend to one American chat some nights ago he was not alright wit his dealings with someone we both share as mutual friend on Facebook according to him he felt i can help him so i talked to him that he has been chatting with a fraudster because that account was hacked and told him how they delete hacked account pics ans replace it with veterans, sorcerers etc pics and add lots of foreigners as friends.

He told me alot from their chats and how he almost sent the hacker money. Without wasting time i know that hacker would be a Nigerian and he knows too because we talked about it

So the kind of society we live now not only our politicians is making mess of our passports our youths and young ones too soiling their hands in crimes has gone ridicule nigeria in no small way

C'mon I am an edo, you're omo ododuwa, chris and Idenna are biafran, then after this we been NIGERIANS now comes in. This i get from your parent response to Chris.

We should stop deceiving ourselves if Nigeria must move forward then we should make been a Nigerian comes first prior our tribe in mind and actions....

It is what it is
You can't just take this from an average Nigerian you're talking about place of work only...you need to see the frustration people looking for jobs face on a daily basis a friend of mine was telling me he went for a job interview and after a very nice performance the man ask where is he from he said he is from imo state baba told him clearly he can employ because he is an igbo boy...I was shocked to my bone marrow...we are in country where certificate or meritocracy doesn't matter but matters this days is the tribe or clique you belong to that's why we disgrace and embarrass ourself internationally cos an average Nigerian is a tribalist and we will do anything to sabotage the existing protocol to make sure our klansman are in top position in juicy department or post...the foundation of this country is based on tribal bigotry that's why most of post independent political party are regional based ranging from AG, NCNC and NPC, AG can never win in the east even if they produce the best candidate same way NCNC can never win in the north these are fact we are hypocritical to the truth we are not united and that's bad if we are gonna continue breeding hate towards ourselves that there is no need to be a Nigerian...then let's start our father name a decision that we will finally regret cos we actually need ourselves

"No man is an island"
You've said it all
At my first job, I kept been asked where I came from and who brought me in to the company from my line manager to the MD they kept asking me even though i scaled through interview and tests. I rarely understood what happening at work because they rarely communicate in English it was hell

Nigeria is truly built on tribal bigotry even amongst the ibos they discriminate themselves the anambra ibo feel superior to the ones from ebonyi and delta state they seldomly marry themselves even the Yorubas though not often pronounced the yorubas from Ekiti or ondo have something against the yorubas from ogun state and all, the edos too the binis have bone of reservations and sterotype for the esan tribe same in benue where the idoma and the othef tribes have hidden hatred for theTivs or in Kogi Igala and Ebira

Nigeria is what it is bro, the country is just messed up and they went further to re-elect a tribalist in the last election as president. Buhari really awaken this tribalism amongst nigerians

Chris dem no Dey kill people with naija passport for Europe or any good country

Una just Dey exaggerate all these talk ,yes naija got a bad name for sure but leave that thing abeg ,which one be stigmatizing having a naija passport while living abroad ,abeg that one Na lie Baba
But we really need to stop electing some people into sensitive positions like presidency and governor sha. I lost some kind of respect for people i know that voted buhari in 2015 and 2019 especially two of my uncles...since then i don't consider their opinions on issues because if they could not make reasonable decisions despite their grey hair and experience in the 80s between Goodluck and Buhari in 2015 then i can't trust their decisions in most matters

Neither Igboho nor MNK lied about this contraption called Nigeria. They both tell us the bitter truth, and that's why your elites are trynna turn you against them in order to continue riding the nation

Quite unfortunate an average Nigerian see himself as an igbo, yoruba, hausa man before seeing himself as a a Nigerian wink
It is a shame
Even at place of work despite been stated on HR policies that the only language of communication should be english except when relating with clients many at work still speak their tribal language as such breeding tribal cliques at work

We're supposed to be a Nigerian first prior our tribe or religion affliation

All those hatred come from loudness and sentiments. That's the truth. It's not as if Igbo is a special tribe everyone is jealous of for no reason. Remove that thinking from your head and analyze things rationally.
Thank you so much
No one who listens to Mazi Kanu often will love Nigeria. I know someone that used to play his broadcast then few times i listened all i hear him talk in general or rather preach is hatred for nigeria. Not only him i think most secessionist agitators either sunday Igboho are like that.

Secessionist agitators have aim of preaching hatred for the contraception (country they belong), awakening that identity consciousness and lot's more

I wont blame him you know information they've been exposed to like ideologies breed such hatred for Nigeria in them

Thats why we have many of this foreign born not gonna play for nigeria because the successist agitators have succeed in breeding many supporters and sympathisers amongst diaspora nigerians moreover they're the ones mainly funding the secessionist movements...thd hatred for Nigeria is so much now among Nigerianz abroad and this nigerians may spring up in their kids this identity consciousness....some may even be footballers.

Let's blame those voted a tribalist as president. It is such a shame even when it wad obvious

What's one thing almost always certain about Reading FC for the past few seasons?

Answer: Nigerian names appearing in their team lineups or matchday squads. From Aluko, to Ighodaro Nelson Abbey, to Ejaria and then to Akpovie Olise.

Today, it is 20 yrs old Femi Azeez. Anglo-Nigerian and a forward.
Made only one appearance last season (20/21) as a substitute. Played under 2mins of Football.

Well, this season he starts Reading's first game of the 21/22 season and his side currently trail 2-1 away at Stoke. He's playing as a right wide forward/Right Winger today.
He is miquel azeez elder brother

And just like I strongly expected, Grealish makes the bench.
