What will Sunday Dare say? Puma made their documents public.

Athletics Federation Of Nigeria Signs Four Deal With Puma
Moses Ojewunmi 0 October 31, 2019 1:05 pm

Athletics Federation of Nigeria ( AFN) has signed a four year kitting deal with Germany-based sports Puma.

Puma’s Senior Manager Corporate Communications, Robert-Jan Bartunek, Puma confirmed the that agreement was reached just before the just concluded IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar.

President of AFN Ibrahim Gusau had hinted that Nigeria athletes will don the gears of Puma to major tournaments including the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, African Games as well as World Championships for the next four years.

https://www.brila.net/athletics-federation-of-nigeria-signs-four-deal-with-puma/

So why will what ever problem the Minister have with the deal stop the fine work Puma did?

Why should it affect the players? Why stop the kits from Puma getting to the players if the man is not evil, corrupt and greedy?

Puma is a business for Christ sake it took corporate responsibility to make this happen.

No matter the shady deals that he might claim happened, it should not stop the work of Puma and the players.
You waste your time quote him on this matter

What does Adeleye the vice president of AFN stand to gain by denting the already battered image of Dare huh This act from him didnt start today, we saw it during the edo state national sports festival where there was scrabble for funds and the tourney was stopped mid way because of money

Sunday Dare bribed shot putter Enekwechi with $1000 USD to take down the viral video of him washing his only jersey at the Olympics. shocked shocked
We already talked about it
We need to stop appointing politicians as ministers mostly sport ministers. Ministerial positions should be reserved for technocrats like ngozi iweala, femi adesina, omoloba johnson, nweke junior, berth nnaji etc this are men with vatse knowledge and have nothing to do with mediocrity.
Sunday Dare is a former governorship aspirant in oyo state,he was obviously given the ministerial position to be compensated and such will aspire for governorship again come 2023

Jonathan did same thing when he appointed the sacked LG chairman in rivers state by amaechi sport minister...the sport minister was so clueless that he resurfaced the Pinnick-Giwa rift even when the court for arbitration already ruled in pinnick favour with evidence and all the inept sport minister resurfaced the issue and incapacitated pinnick from sacking keshi...he was the reason why good luck loss at the election didnt pain me much when it comes to sport even though dalung did same thing and was constantly fighting with pinnick

You have a point but our problem is much more than upbringing. We don't tackle problem from the root because we don't ask pertinent questions. We ask: how can we stop corruption instead of what causes corruption. You cannot solve what you don't know the cause.

Corruption is stealing. Opportunity and poor reward (punishment) system breeds it. Same people raised in Nigeria would move to other countries and would forget about corruption. There are dishonest people everywhere but in those other places, systems have been setup to block loopholes.

Kids in Nigeria are the ones with more leanings towards corruption

In Nigeria, whenever you are honest with your feelings, you are labeled disrepectful, Kids are encouraged to be dishonest because being honest will hurt the feelings of the older.

When you restrain kids from saying what they are feeling and what they really want, you are subconsciously telling them that they are not respected and loved. This is the impression planted in the heart of a growing child. They are not shown love and respect, and they will grow into adults not knowing what love and respect is.

What else breeds corruption, if not dishonesty, lack of love and true respect for one another..
You made some educative points i think is really one of the cause of nigeria corruption problem

The way a child is raised matters

Children make their choices on most things concerning their lives there not to talk of the national team they play for, do you think with the plethora of Aunties and Uncles and parents interested in the SE very little have been able to switch
You can advise and guide them and then leave them to decide from the counsel you gave to them...

You dont fold your hands and watch them make rash career decisions. You can avail them info and knowledge of their chances and what they stand to gain from both options

Let's wait and watch, beside them swear for north and corruption......

The place is so messed up and you could get killed just because you acted like you dont like corruption. Then there is the ethnic division that goes with the corruption , it's a mess and I dont want to go there. Delta , Rivers , Bayelsa and Lagos are by far the most corrupt state in Nigeria.

Ibori has to go for that state to breathe.
Ibori is not the problem of that state per se nearly all delta state politicians have corruption in their bones. You're right about lagos Tinubu have so much master that state that he is more popular than the governors he has loyalties amongst the agberos(alaye), NURTW, the politicians rich and powerful all bow to him. So much i can't reveal here

Think Nigeria is gone it will take an heavenly miracle for this country to survive we just have to make plan B for ourselves and our kids
