Yyeske:Read it again, and did not see where IPOB said they will disturb people from going about their business. Maybe I missed it. Can you point it out please? The Easterners are an oppressed people, and you and I know that, even if we decide to turn our face the other way. But we should not encourage this. This is wrong and and very oppressive. I will not be part of it. |
I don't get it. What exactly is the police complaining about this time?IPOB is down the food chain in my bottom list, but these guys are not bothering anyone. They go for a protest, and they get arrested. Now that they want to stay at home, how is this even a bother to the Police?I do not like people oppressing others, and all I see is the oppression of the Igbo people. The good people of Nigeria should speak against this oppression. The Police cannot go to the North,West and even the South South, and want to convert it into a modern day slavery plantation and not allow them have any kind of voice. I support the APC, but will not support Tyranny. The Government should stop the experimentation of slavery plantation owners on the people of the East. These guys have rights too. |
Autojosh. The truth is, are those designated with using the Emergency Siren, rules and regulations, using it responsibly? No. So Nigerians have grown wary. It could be true these fire fighters have an Emergency to attend to. But there have been cases of them using the Emergency siren to clear the road to get to an Amala joint, for some good food. Few weeks ago, starting from the third mainland Bridge, all the way close to the international airport. I counted 23 Siren blaring, gun wielding Policemen/ Military men, on different convoys, escorting different big men to the Airport. None was an Emergency. It was a Sunday evening/night,and I knew most of us heading towards the Airport, was flying international. So why were these big men bullying people on the road again?why were they using the Emergency rules to push everyone out of the road, just to get to the Airport? Until laws are enacted and enforced, against the abuse of our Emergency codes by those in Authority, then I think Nigerians have a right to ignore them. |
This is a shame. The continual stay of this woman in this Government, shows a lack of transparency on the side of President Buhari. Salisu Buhari was the Speaker in 1999, when it was discovered by the then PDP ruling party that he forged his Toronto certificates. The Majority party threw him out of power and into a political wilderness he has not recovered from. President Buhari shielding this Adeosun woman is bad. Not everything should be about politics, especially if it concerns forgery of certifications. Adeosun and Kyari are both stains on this Government that should be cleaned up. |

Smart thieves. The Saraki's are smart, and I give it to them on their skills of dribbling through all the international financial loopholes they have used in plundering from the SGBN, to Kwara state, before eventually getting into the coffers of Nigeria via the Senate. Saraki's wife's is just the front, and not the problem. In politics, everybody is a thief. But like Jeffrey Archer said in his book " Honour Among Thieves" , there gets to a certain point in stealing in politics, that you have to start asking if the stealing has not become too much. Herein lies my problem with the Saraki's. Dr. Saraki is British by Birth, and a Nigerian by Nationality. The Billions the Saraki's have been looting since 1999 belongs to Nigeria, and not the United Kingdom. To now start playing the " I am a British" card when confronted with core evidences of their stealing from Nigeria, smacks of people that wants to take us for granted. This is it,and it has nothing to do with politics. The EFCC should start compiling all evidences they have against the Saraki's,and then share it with other graft agencies around the world, including the British money laundering agency, and even the FBI. The EFCC should also follow the money trails in Nigeria, and if it leads directly to the wife. Then Mrs Saraki should be arrested, and made to explain how and where the Billions are from, because the Saraki's have turned looting Nigeria into a family affair. |
This is serious. Let us not make this another tribal thread about Emeka please, as Emeka is a Nigerian. Truth is, there is a problem in the East. Couple of years ago in the diaspora. A soft spoken course mate of mine, who happens to be a South African lady. Told me that the reason why the problems of HIV in South Africa seems to be well known, is that South Africans are open to the world about the problem(s) and not trying to hide it. There is a problem in the East in Nigeria concerning their love and quests for drug money. Sad thing is that, an attempt to talk about it,is viewed as an attack on the Igbo race. You know there is a problem in a region, where nobody sees anything wrong in their tribesmen getting arrested for the same thing every day around the world.. Why are the family members not condemning it?where are the Eastern leaders condemning it?why are lectures and symposiums not done in the East to educate them about the hazards of drug dealing? Why are the Igbo's silent ? Somebody will want to blame this on the Government of Buhari. But that too is a lie,as the East with their drug problems has been there forever. Hardship do not push an entire region to becoming criminals. To the every Emeka out there that wants to be a drug dealer. To every Ganiyu in Ogun state that wants to be a head hunter, and to those hell bent on destroying the image of Nigeria, please have a change of heart. |
vivavik:I apologize. |
Laughing. This Governor get bad mouth. |
Trouble in paradise. Eventually the family wins. I remember how Asaba was decided as the capital of Delta State, in a bedroom somewhere in Niger State. This is one fight that will be interesting to watch. |
I just detest the term Slay Queens. I compare women who call themselves slayqueens to like something else. Once upon a time, women pranced about, giving the men a good run in the achievements department. They paraded degrees, awards, successes, modesty, good dress sense and a background of good upbringing. But now, they seems to be selling themselves short by only sexualizing everything they do,and in doing so, making the men look at them as sex objects only. Women please know thy worth please. Modified: I apologize for some crude words I used here, that is tantamount to like insulting all females. I did not mean for it to come out that way. Once again i apologize. |
This is big. Let me finish this brief on my desk before coming back to comment proper. |
Jokers. Even me that support the APC, find it difficult not to laugh sometimes when I hear some of their jokes. Good morning guys, and may we all have a laughter filled day. |
Unbelievable. So clean and neat. The serenity looks absolutely homely, and a paradise one will want to return to. Aside the large human migration to the urban areas, and non-comformity to urban planning. I think one of the things that caused most major cities in the East to go awry, was the destruction of their carefully planned cities during the civil war. They never recovered. But again, Enugu City is still as beautiful as it was then. I visit Enugu a lot,and I never get tired of how beautiful and welcoming that city is. Maybe other Eastern cities/towns should borrow the Enugu city model, and see if it will work for them. |

Airforce1:Of course. But I am just thinking of how I grew up and what my dad had, looking at this girl living the life her father made for her. Sometimes it is good we remember how we started. It is always a very humbling experience. It is well. |
Must be nice. Atleast I can brag that my late dad had a Vespa Bike in my time, and some of my best memories growing up was riding behind him. It would have been nice growing up in riches. |
