If you think that I think that subsidy is the cause of Nigeria's economic problems, then you are wrong.

Nigeria's economic problems are caused by our nation not having a good enough domestic production capacity. Subsidy removal on power and electricity would enable them attract more investment to grow and develop, which would then help us develop an industrial capacity that would earn enough money for the entire nation , far more than oil would ever earn us.

Also,we need to fight corruption.

Well, to get equipped with accounting knowledge is not easy oh, it is especially through real life practicing that you get to learn more and understand accounting.

But remember, I don chop insult and embarrassment tire oh because I was practicing with companies data.

So, your first step is to fake your expertise to get the job, learn on the job, use their data for your home practices and trainings.

Pay for any accounting courses even if the course is 5k or 7k or 17k, whether you use Udemy or Online Tutors, just ensure that at any point in time, you're learning something in accounting.

If you don't have money to pay for any of the accounting trainings, subscribe ChatGpt with 7k a month, buy your data of 7k a month.

Tell ChatGpt that you're a young and inexperienced accountant, let it map real life tutorial guideline for you.

Once it has done that, ask it to coach you on the tutorials and ensure you give yourself at least 2hrs every day for practicing.

You will learn more too.

Currently, I start my studies every 9:30pm to
12am at least 3 or 4 times a week.

I am an Accountant without an ICAN certificate.

At my 7 years as an Accountant, you couldn't believe that I can't secure any accounting job of 150k or above.

Fast forward from 2024 to now when I said to myself that I must breakthrough in this accounting field and secure a bigger job.

What did I do?

I searched through the Internet, I joined Whatsapp classes on Accounting, I read and practiced a lot on my personal computer, I am a guru in computer though, I mastered Excel, I trained when data analysis came out and mastered it, I learned financial modeling through different channels including ChatGpt, I learned Power Bi and I am currently learning Python for Data Analysis.

In the middle of 2025, I landed my first 200k job as an accountant. I delivered on the job and I didn't relent, I continue studying and also studying ICAN Materials for Professionals.

With all my efforts and what I have done, in April 2026, I landed an Accountant job of 300k salary.

As at today going forward, I have been applying for jobs of 500k and above.

So, as a young graduate and someone who wants to scale through in his or her field, what I will advice you is to take your studies seriously.

Build models and system that company's can use to solve problems.

This month, I have received 3 job offers but guest what? I declined them all.

When I see that my ideal job, I will eventually take it and it will be a CFO job.
