"What's in a name? That which we call a rose. By any other name would smell as sweet. -Willian Shakespeare. |
abohrandy: over recent dey worry these pictures and that is elele campus right there. so let no one say the pix are old.@ Randy...this pit trained you, and now you're a computer scientist! The curse of the pit would remain with you for life...as you desire! I never went to a pit! I made the best out of it. |
Yeahreen: he is so ryt......nthn gud to talk about that crap hole...wont advice ma enermies to go dereIts always the bad ones, and those who can't graduate without cutting corners would be embittered! If you can graduate successfully, from Madonna, you'd be able to earn a honest living anywhere.. |
Every University has its flaw. Their KPI lies in their faculties and ability to churn out the best graduates each year, as opposed to dazzling buildings. However, these are old pictures. Continuous improvement has taken its mark in the school, and value for money spent is got. In terms of academics, their Graduates are competitive everywhere. More recently, in a recently management trainee recruitment for a multinational, 3 of the 8 graduates who made it out of a pool of 36,000 graduates were from Father Edeh's institutions (2 from Madonna, and 1 from Caritas). From Oil companies to multinationals, merit-based jobs are being given to graduates from Private Universities because of their academic prowess garnered from their Undergraduate years. Ask any HR manager if you're in doubt. Private universities have come to stay, and owing to the wreck of some public institutions, this would keep being the trend....unless genuine change comes. I'd send my Children to private universities if I can afford it...and have peace of mind. |
http://www.mdcnigeria.org/MedSchools.htm It would suffice to check out that link. Its the current list of fully accredited schools of medicine by the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria. Madonna happens to be one of them. The structures might not be world class, but the quality of graduates produced there, are second to none. In addition to making the list of 26 fully accredited universities in Nigeria, it also happens to be the only private university fully accredited to study medicine. Hating would do you no good, appreciate good things. |
These portals(Madonna university) formed me. Survive there, you can survive anywhere in the world. "Madonna is strict, madonna is this, madonna is that", no be your fellow madonnites dey get jobs here and there? No be your colleagues dey make am? Bottom line, we are the architects of our own destiny. You can take a horse to the stream, you can't force it to drink water. In the final analysis, the end justifies the means, so hang on bro, hang on sis. It would soon be over. No pain, no gain. Remember, nothing really good can be obtained without hardship and labour. Your best is yet to come. |
Madonna university is Accredited for Medical Studies The standard of Education is one of the highest in the country as a result of the following; 1. No Sorting of Lecturers 2. No Strike/mob action 3. Graduation is in Record time. I am a proud alumnii! The school of Medicine has produced 2 sets of well-qualified Doctors and a third would be graduating before the end of the year. However, if your aim is to gallivant and party, dont come to MADONNA. Its for disciplined and serious minded folks. Finally, If you can survive 4 Years in Madonna, you can survive anywhere in the world. Cheers |
