I swear.... I went ogijo yesterday and I have to tell you that that road is a death trap. Yet he keeps building bus stops...... To even imagine a large signboard welcoming people to Lagos on that badly dilapidated road is nauseating. 2 Likes 1 Share |

AreaFada2:God bless you . I have been reading all the comment and you are the only one who has thought and dug deep to think. I am a classic example of this kind of scenario. My "supposed" daughter is at large now. and I am hurting on a daily basis. I am not even sure of the paternity of the said child. so someone will come some years later and say its your child . |

crixtex:oga take a chill pill now. Let me draw your attention to some part of the pictures, far @ d end u will notice some houses are situated on the high-rise and the ones almost submerged are in the lowlands. I work around this area and I tell you no one needs a government to warn one of building in this area @ all. Most of the rainwater from the gutters around ifako, sawmill and it's environs washes down to those area because those areas are very close to the lagoon hence the flood. Sometimes if the lagoon too "overflows" it causes this natural disaster too. And 4 the records the lagos state government warned some months ago about this. This case is more of our people heeding that putting every blame on the corridor of government. |

AirstarKane:this has been my claim. These people are worse than boko haram and if unchecked could lead to something worse. I am one of those who left that environs to ikorodu. Lost a friend some months ago that was shot on his way back from work by these hoodlums in a reprisal attack on ogunjobi street. Something urgently needs to be done. People are being killed, maimed and tortured @ will in these areas. |

justi4jesu:. I think international laws state that the baby can claim any country in this world. I stand to be corrected though. It's a classic case of a certain congolese player born on a ship, I think then he was asked to choose any country of his choice as his nation. |

mitchyy:. Nice ones..i loved it from the first letter to the last. I am a young man too and I have to admit I am one those who is scared to get married. I am from a polygamous family and that experience is so demoralising that I get chill when I hear people talk about marriage. But it takes a lot more than all these to get settled bro. I have a boss who is so depressed and emaciated because of what his wife told him some days ago. My boss used to be a very rich man, then he had some rough patches of late and it's so hard for him to even pay their rent. The wife got a job in kwara state and moved there with thier only daughter. The man has been trying to get himself back together while trying to settle his debts and all. The landlady has been on his neck all these while so much that he avoids going home most days. The landlady contacted the wife and told him about the husbands not paying up the rent. The wife instead of being the husbands other half, she accused him and called him "asiyan" which means "mischoosed" in yoruba. My boss has not been himself eversince. That alone fuels my fears the more. It's a complicated case. |
Sports / Re: Jonathan’s defeat deflates Keshi by HYBREED(m): 12:48pm On Apr 04, 2015 |
MichaelSokoto:oh keshi! How are the mighty fallen? He has erred gaaaan. He should have kept a level head rather than holding the nation to ransome and publicly abusing NFF officials. Thought his lawyer brother bragged then that they have offer from a club in Angola willing to pay 300k dollars to him?? Truth is, if you are a real follower of African football you will realise that keshi was just lucky with that nations cup win. What did he achieve with Mali? And qualifying Togo for WC If he is as exceptional as qualifying them for a world cup, how come Togo didn't believe in his ability to lead them? Personally, I think we need a foreign gaffer. Not because these ones are not good, it's cos sentiment and bias override their decisions sometimes. Keshi should simply leave. |

had this kind of issue too before. The chick loved me so much and she always satisfies me anytime I needed to......... but she is always seeing an ex or a male friend that needed her to do something for him. She had a very bad past as regards sex which I am aware of but I was fooled into believing that I could change her but bro... a nympho will always be a nympho. Spoke to her one on one some weeks back and she confessed to me that she think she is cursed or something that she can't just control her libido. Its so pathetic bro. I had to leave her and ever since then it's been peace with me. My ADVICE bro... ex her ASAP |

darlingtonNYIG:in as much as I think you made a point here, I don't agree with it. If a person inherits his father's property that has been damaged, exploited and bastadized, does the person mend it's fence, stem it's problems and improve on its efficiency or simply just follow the trend of the situation he met the property? . More reason why I won't vote for #GEJ. He is too busy blaming his problems on past leaders whilst abandoning the confidence we had in him when he had no shoes. 1 Like |

MAY 15, 2014 SHARE ON FACEBOOK SHARE ON TWITTER SHARE ON GOOGLE MORE SHARING SERVICES 836 The Short List 10 Reasons to Love Uruguay’s President José Mujica by MEDEA BENJAMIN President José Mujica of Uruguay, a 78-year-old former Marxist guerrilla who spent 14 years in prison, mostly in solitary confinement, recently visited the United States to meet with President Obama and speak at a variety of venues. He told Obama that Americans should smoke less and learn more languages. He lectured a roomful of businessmen at the US Chamber of Commerce about the benefits of redistributing wealth and raising workers’ salaries. He told students at American University that there are no “just wars.” Whatever the audience, he spoke extemporaneously and with such brutal honesty that it was hard not to love the guy. Here are 10 reasons you, too, should love President Mujica. 1. He lives simply and rejects the perks of the presidency. Mujica has refused to live at the Presidential Palace or have a motorcade. He lives in a one-bedroom house on his wife’s farm and drives a 1987 Volkswagen. “There have been years when I would have been happy just to have a mattress,” said Mujica, referring to his time in prison. He donates over 90% of his $12,000/month salary to charity so he makes the same as the average citizen in Uruguay. When called “the poorest president in the world,” Mujica says he is not poor. “A poor person is not someone who has little but one who needs infinitely more, and more and more. I don’t live in poverty, I live in simplicity. There’s very little that I need to live.” That's a true man of the people, not one clueless badluck from otuoke |

jayzeeguy: It is because of the size and density of the hausa people and most importantly hausa speaking people. I have had the opportunity to live in Ghana, togo, benin republic and visited niger once,u won't believe the size of people speaking this language. It was there I got to find out that the hausa language is spoken as far as noukachokt in mauritania and even sudan and ethopia, hence why this international news corps has a programme in hausa. Just like in togo and benin republic where there are yoruba programmes because of the size of the yoruba settlers there. Hausa people has the size. |

topeorekoy: Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Eddy Onazi signed a new improved 4-year deal at Italian Club SS Lazio yesterday.for a player of his age , that amount is a very good one. The serie A don't earn much. Imagine the highest paid player in the league roma's danielle de rossi earning 100k per week while obi mikel earns 35k more. And italian players are not as taxed like their english counterpart. So the money to many of them is a good earn. 1 Like |
