In my case I tried to log in but the site doesn't even open anymore for me. I'm guessing I have to wait till Monday. All these because Flutterwave wont send OTP on time and I lost connection due to light going off. You think I should mail them? I have to search for their email

Hello guys. I am trying to book appointment for biometrics so I can subsequently upload my documents. I begin the payment process only to get stuck at Flutterwave OTP page. Waited for more than an hour with nothing. Checked my email/junk and while at it I lost connection. When I logged back in the VFS page says “your appointment is not confirmed and your payment is in progress”

What can I do or expect? Since I haven't paid shouldn't it take me back? I don't know why Flutterwave can't send OTP. My phone is fine.

I uploaded my document of the 14th Feb. It show submitted but didn't receive Acknowledgment in my email. When I came online and check through the chat I had to submit another one yesterday around 11pm but up till now no email. I have refresh my mail box tired oh nothing. May be later in the day I will still upload if Acknowledgment is not sent to my mail

Tbh I did it twice. But from laptop. Phone acts tricky. I did it on the 13th. And it shows submitted but I never got an email confirmation. That made me suspicious. Did it again today. And got the email confirmation

I actually get you now. Omo I didn't see no need for print out. Plus since we have a reference no. That's all the proof one needs. Once I submitted my certification it just said submitted successfully. I haven't gotten an email confirming it tho.

Some folks probably did theirs at a Cafe which is why they printed out.

I did mine on the first day since I got email days before their portal was opened for submission.

Open your page on a laptop. I tried it on phone and it was taking me to their page but once I tried to submit it was saying submission closed but when I did on the laptop I was able to log in.

Resize your document by converting to Jpeg. If you don't have converter just send it to yourself on Whatsapp and save it back. It should have dropped to less than 200kb

Lastly the documents you will be asked would be based on your CV. I was worried also until I saw what I would submit. So if you put certification you don't have on your CV that might be Wahala.

Laslas we need luck. Prayers too. The odds against who no know person to get a job is strong. Pray you applied to a role that fits you and pray you find favor. Cheers

This bastard is still out there scamming people, I pity people making online deposits to a stranger. Even the badagry address is fake, If you know lagos wella, You'd know no sane person can have a shop there, That's like Togo border.

Here are screenshots of my chats with this scammer. He even called me on phone to negotiate price and I recorded it and from his voice , He should be around 40 - 50. Omo even old people dey scam.

Yes, the voice is an older man. If he doesn't change number 10 years from now I will still be swearing for him via text or random calls. But I've moved on. I just had to post so people don't fall for these pages

Not only that, in trying to recover the money you are SURE to lose more money PLUS probably get scammed on top.
Scammers know that once someone is scammed they are easy to scam a second time by telling them you'd recover their loss

Police told me the bureaucracy behind the documentation you would need is too much and cost more for tracking. By the time you're done you may be spending more than you lost. Why bother? It was painful but I know I will get the money back. Sometimes in life you just have to count your loss and move on

These happened like 2 months ago. I had moved on and I just thought of the scam again and went to see if the page is online and I saw them posting. So to help anyone that may fall victim that's why I am doing this.

People should walk into shops instead of trying to buy from IG. Especially if the money is much. I was too trusting.

All these things you're saying I already did. Bank go ask you go brink court injunction and police report. By the time you get to police the matter don dey long. They will ask you to got to court. You start spending money. By then if the money has been withdrawn you're just wasting your time. The system isn't helpful. Leave talk.

Lol, I know there would be guys like you. Don't worry I did everything but Bank told me they can only pause the account for one week. This was the second day. The guy go don move the money plus I don't think he used his own account. I went to police too and they told me the bureaucracy in the matter would cost me more than the money I lost.

Long story short its best not to fall into scam than believe the banks or police would help you. You have a better chance reporting to VDM sef.
