simpleseyi: Not only APC makes you swear by the Koran, the constitution of Nigeria too makes you swear by the Koran, Bible or traditional gods, that you will put dip your filthy hands into the treasury. If you are not happy that APC made you swear by the Koran, you can go back to PDP who take you to Okija shrine to swear that you will loot the nation's treasury and share it with fellow thieves. How many of PDP waste product in APC has said this Better re tighten ur brain |

eighTHREAD: TANoids are already urging violence. They don't know that it's all a trap to show the whole world how much of impunity GEJ wields when he forcefully tries to use that stadium. The news that that will generate alone will win APC more sympathy votes. When will PDP learn? GEJ coming out to announce that he won't use that stadium cos the state governor says it's under construction won't portray him as weak but a president that rules within the tenet of the law. The publicity from such act can win him more votes I beq shut up jare |

omenka: Exactly. People crying foul like that poster above you are just totally ignorant. They find it very difficult understanding simple English that they don't even know the difference between PVCs distributed and PVCs collected. Is INEC supposed to force people to go collect their PVCs?? I really don't understand these guys.
Jonathan shouldn't let his desperation get the best of him. He knows he's heading for defeat and has already rolled out plans to get Jega out of the way, and that is one of the purpose of this jaundiced reportage. Jega stays whether Jonathan likes it or not. Do u reason before u talk must u bring partisanship into all issue Jega practically bring PVC to the door step of d northerners Why can't be applied for d rest If it was north on d receiving I knw ur story will be different Let's try and say d ugly truth This is how they start planning war when they've avoided it Later they will be shouting peace |
Politics › Minister To Sue Ekiti APC For N10bn by HzRF(op): 8:08pm On Jan 26, 2015 |
Minister of State for Works, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, has threatened to file a N10bn libel suit against the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State and its Spokesperson, Taiwo Olatubosun. The minister said neither himself nor President Goodluck Jonathan said at the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign rally in Ado Ekiti that N22bn was paid to Ekiti State by the Federal government as refund for construction of Federal roads in the state as being claimed by the APC. In a statement made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti, Adeyeye said, “The APC and Taiwo Olatubosun must retract this malicious falsehood within the next 14 days or risk N10bn libel suit.” “The road was initially awarded by the administration of Segun Oni for N6.3bn and was later increased to N7.5bn by the same government. The APC government of Kayode Fayemi increased the contract from N7.5bn to N11bn. “The Federal Government had earlier paid N2bn reimbursement on the road during the administration of Segun Oni and also paid another N2bn during the Fayemi administration. “No refund has been paid during this present administration of Governor Ayodele Fayose. “The APC and its Spokesperson must therefore come out with documentary evidence of their imaginary payment of N22bn to the Ekiti State government. “In the absence this, the falsehood must be retracted within 14 days, failure of which I will have no option than to approach the court for a N10bn damages.” ♑♑ http://www.punchng.com/news/minister-to-sue-ekiti-apc-for-n10bn/ |

redcliff: I think the people who are afraid in the first place is jonathan..
1. For not even letting other members of his party pickup presidential nomination forms just in case any entity might play a fast one on him... 2. Rather than issue based campaign, he changed the train of campaigning in nigeria forever to character assassination and image smearing. 3. Using the media to intimidate the opposition..
What other fear is greater than this? Since the day u nd ur co-retardeen have been shouting like a bewildered widow "pdp Is not focusing on issues, character assassination" I have been watching him campaign from state to state Grassroots mobilisation is going in my area which I believe coherent with other part of the country So because we reasonable citizens insist that the law should not be boycotted in the name of change (which might be negative) pdp Is not focusing on issues Continue fooling urself, |
