Ondo state an oil producing state owes 3 months salary.

Bayelsa, another oil producing state just got bailed out

Kogi is a mess

Imo is *sighs*

Yet Osun which collects "6 million" in federal allocation started paying salaries for January on monday meaning they owe just 2 months unlike 7-8 months some months ago and yet their federal allocation has not been increased.

I think we need to look at Osun beyong its allocation and ask how the government there has cut down the salary owed workers in yhe face of dwindling finances because in that amswer we will find out how Osun intends to finance a budget of 150 billion

Of course this message will be lost
What rubbish are you spewing around

If you don't know full details pls don't just jump around with half

He's been paying half salaries since last year June

The interview was just so classic. Amaechi dishing out facts upon facts upon facts and upon facts. Wikes thugs that are CTC chairmen (ikwere and obiaakpor chairmen) even called in and Amaechi shamed them all with obvious truthas against the lies they peddled. Its just so obvious to all sane minds that Wike has been lying to the people of rivers from time memorial. many times Amaechi repeated the phrase ....................Segun (the interviewer) who is ur brother?................to shame Jonah-daft, wike and their shameless kind. These killer members are already peeing in their pants no doubt.

[b]the most useless governor Rivers has ever produce. leaning on the glory of the previous administration. apart from the mediocre zero pot hole project where he is currently polluting PH and its environs with substandard works he has no blue print for education, Health, Agriculture, job creation and youth empowerment, rural development, etc. in fact he has virtually killed those sectors. Rivers state health system put in place by the previous administration is currently dysfunctional.Weeds and rodents have taken over the once beautiful public schools in Rivers with most workers owed for over six months despite the state governor borrowing over N50b. hundreds of students on scholarship abroad recalled despite some in their third year of study. activities of the RSSDA which is one of the best state agencies in Nigeria suspended. All the agricultural exploits of the previous administration abandoned, no rural development of any sort, sacked thousands of workers without creating any job, the rate of insecurity and killing is in all time high. its as if we don't have a governor. PH has changed from a garden city to a garbage city with the median of our roads being decorated with wike and Obua fresh garbage. in fact the List is endless embarassed

So, the South will be politically stuupid to vote in another Northerner in 2019 for probably another eight years (till 2027) instead of allowing PMB rule till 2023 for a southerner to succeed him?

OP, you, just like Barcanista, don't know Nigerian politics. As much as I hate the rotational presidency, the fact is it has come to stay and NOTHING will make Yorubas support another Hausa president other than Buhari in 2019 because a Yoruba president will succeed him in 2023. Sorry our Ibo brothers and sisters, GEJ has messed up your turn. It's the painful fact.

Politics › Mile 12: Akiolu, Others Back Assembly Over Market Relocation - VANGUARD by HzRF(op): 5:52am On Mar 09, 2016
Lagos—Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos, yesterday, supported the proposal by the state Assembly for the relocation of the popular Mile 12 market which witnessed misunderstanding between Hausa and Yoruba traders last week.

Oba Akiolu According to him, the relocation should however be embarked upon if it will bring peace and tranquillity to the communities. His view was also echoed by Oba Samuel Oloyede of Ikosi who noted that the call for the relocation of the market by the State House of Assembly was a step in the right direction.

Oba Akiolu also requested that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode should severely punish the perpetrators of the clash. Akiolu made the demands at a stakeholders forum organised at the Iga-Idugaran, Lagos Island for residents and stakeholders in the communities.

He lamented that the clash which further led to the destruction of property and displacement of residents was not acceptable. He described ethnic clashes in the state as one too many, urging residents to co-exist with one another, saying that Lagos is a melting pot of ethnic nationalities in the country and wondered why some people incessantly attempted to threaten the diversity of the state.

The monarch urged traditional rulers in the communities to give true leadership to their subjects and swiftly intervene in disputes before they escalate. Earlier, the Sarkin Hausawa of Lagos State, Alhaji Aminu Yaro, lamented that the incident was unfortunate and promised to constantly engage the leaders of Arewa communities on peaceful co-existence with their host.

His words “The incident was unfortunate. We will do our best to talk to everybody on how we can handle things better to avert this kind of problem.” Oba Samuel Oloyede of Ikosi on his part, thanked Akiolu for holding the meeting, saying it was an opportunity for stakeholders to strategise and find lasting peace at Mile 12.

As expected, they can't mention the names of the persons offering them $1milliin each to impeach the governor.

Fayose's rantings are just like that of an ant, it ruffles no feather not to talk of the president.

Earlier today, it was Lere Olayinka packing his bag and getting ready for arrest, now, it's the entire members of Ekiti house of assembly making spurious allegation. Seems Fayose has infected everybody in Ekiti with his attention seeking virus.

For those that will attack me, Buhari had the chance to remove Fayose when he was inaugurated in May through APC legislators but he refused to do it . So, why will he want to remove him now? What's Fayose's relevance in Nigeria that the president will want to waste scarce $1million to impeach him?
